  Not sure what your definition of "auto-refresh" is. In case you know the event that will trigger the refresh, and you want to redraw the tree, simply call

  ITreeViewMgr::ClearTree()

  ITreeViewMgr::ChangeRoot (kTrue)

  PnlTrvIdleTask::refresh() clearly shows.

  A year ago, someone told me how to automatically add pages of a document while pasting text. It has worked flawlessly, but since then, I've completely forgotten how to do this.

  I've been screwing around with this for a while once again and can not find a way to do it. Could someone help?

  Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a Word Doc (a book) with about 275 pages of text. I want to copy and paste the text into ID CS5 for the layout in book format. How do I paste the text forward and have it automatically create the exact number of pages to fit all the text?

  It seems that I made a text box and pressed some keys or something while gluing, but honestly, I can't remember. It was something super simple, and I'm going crazy.

  Someone remembers how to do this?

  You must place the text using the file > place command. Shift, click on when you place and all pages will be added automatically.

• Automatically refresh a page in some intervals in the adf

  I am working in a project where I need to refresh a page adf automatically every 30 seconds.
  I tried the following.
  I put < meta http-eqiv = "REFRESH" content = "30" / > inside the head of the .jspx page element.
  It works very well but with some problems.
  After loging in the applicaton I need to refresh this page of destination after the cut. So I put the above code as above, inside the < head > element.
  My problem is that after refreshing in 30 seconds its getting automatically logged off without destroying the session.
  My requirement is that after you have updated the same landing page must be displayed with the connected session.
  I use ADF faces with ADF business components.
  
  Please throw some ideas on what I badly need for my work.

  I use Apex 4.0 and on a single page, I have some charts of dial and dynamic regions "PL/SQL" couple, my requirement is to automatically update all parts of this page.
  For graphics I can provide the "asynchronous update" but for PL/SQL region I have found none.
  
  Is there a way I can update the page automatically (at regular intervals) without any click event?

  I use FF for years, but now it is starting to disappoint me! I adapted my FF and added some scratches here and there, and normally, everything else as I want/set but... until a few days... every time I restart FF it replaces some scratches left to right and vice versa! Very annoying!

  Another problem is that my "home/arrow page (rear) / refresh" buttons have become so ugly and small and no I don't thick 'buttons' in the options.

  I don't really know what is the problem, but now it is starting to be very boring!

  Here's a printscreen BEFORE FF it's ruin: look how beautiful the buttons are and other things!

  And here are FF ugly with ugly buttons and in the good uppercorner strips left the adblockplus should be on the right, but it is replaced by its me after that I restarted FF each time!

  I admit that when I saw that it replaces the scratches I UN-and/reinstalled FF and after that the buttons becomes too ugly....

  What could be the problem?

  everytime I open a 'old' tabform I see the old information and I have to refresh it by selecting the Refresh button. Is there a parameter so that the page will auto refresh, unadulterated 5 minutes or so, as in the internetbrouser front Brouser?

  In Firefox 3.x, there is always a refresh button but I can't find anywhere in Firefox 4. Have I missed something or if it is lost in the transition?

  Firefox 4.0 has a reload/Stop/Go combined button that is placed at the right end of the URL/address bar. This will change:

  • When you type in the URL/address bar or in a empty new tab, you'll see the Go button; arrow pointing to the right on a green background
  • When a page loads, you will see an 'X' on a red background
  • Once a page is loaded, you will see the Reload button; circular right arrow

  In Firefox 4.0, you can move the buttons Stop/Reload of the URL/address bar and place them where you want on the toolbar. You can also make it appear outside the URL/address bar

  • as separate buttons on the toolbar, or
  • as a combined Stop/Reload button
  1. Open the Customize toolbar:
     • Firefox button > Options > toolbars
     • If you use the Menu view > toolbars > customize

• Firefox 4 beta 11 automatically refreshes the hotmail every 1 to 2 seconds, its so annoying when reading emails

  whenever I opened my Hotmail Inbox and try to read an email, Firefox keeps on self-identity, and I can't read my emails or check anything because it's just warn on refresh the page itself, I noticed this problem only with my hot mail when my Hotmail account is connected.

  This is a known bug and Microsoft are working on a fix. They intend to fix this before Firefox 4 release candidate phase stretches.

  One solution is to change a preference in Firefox:

  1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Search the html5.enable preference and double-click it to change its value false

  If you do, don't forget to set back to true preferences by double-clicking it, once again when Firefox 4 release candidate is available, the bug should be resolved by then.

• Function 'Internet time' will automatically refresh after reboot - please help

  I can't get the "Internet time" auto time update function system after restarting the computer in windows 7.  He should tell me when the next synchronization will happpen, but this isn't unless I do it manually by clicking on the button update.  Then he went after the reboot.

  Example: If I click on the clock at the bottom right of the screen and then select "Change date and time settings" and then click on the tab "Internet time" he says: "this computer is configured to synchronize automatically with"time.nist.gov.  Then on the next line, he says: "this computer is configured to synchronize automatically on a regular basis.   However, I checked that he never does that.  Or he tells me when he is going to do.

  To temporarily solve the problem, I click on the "Edit settings" button and then click on 'Update Now' and he said, "the clock has been properly synchronized with time.nist.gov on 15/03/2010 at 22:25" for example. I press OK.  So far so good.  Now the tab "Internet time" has a line that reads, "next synchronization 16/03/2010 at 02:25.  Which is 4 hours later, because the specialpollvalue registry variable is set for 4 hours.

  THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!  But the next time I restart the computer and check under the tab "Internet time", it comes back again tell me what is the next synchronization.  And the problem comes back to where it will not refresh automatically.   So reboot he kills.  All this works fine on another computer with XP.  But on a new, clean installation of windows 7 that is not.  Am I missing something?  Is there a setting I need to adjust so that it can stay active after restarting?

  Maybe you will get better results if you set the default value for domain members (3600), rather that I assume you have set for the 2400?  He may not know your adjustment because he runs into some unknown to me, another setting?  I guess you did not literally any value to read "4 hours" instead of 2400 decimals or whatever is the equivalent of Hex, did you leave in any commas in the value?  Sorry for asking that, please don't be offended by the question, but more strange things occur.
