  I had my storm for about 2 weeks. I charge the phone overnight, each night, but yesterday in minimal use-1 call, checked voicemail once, sent 1 email and spent 5 minutes in line, the battery was flat dead aftet 8 hours. So, I have these questions:

  What causes this massive evacuation of power?  My old LG phone could remain in sleep mode for days without charge in order to have a phone dead after a few hours is not exactly what I expected.

  The specs say 315 hours of standby time and 6 hours of conversation. What is support includes by? This does mean that I have to disable the bluetooth and make sure that the Internet connection is off as well? Talk time includes the time spent online or read and send emails or do these things take much longer to be able to make calls. I see nothing in the book that talks about the amount of energy of the emails or use the web uses.

  I have to load it with the phone turned off? Does make a difference?

  Should I disable the Internet connection until I want to check my email? If I do it, does mean that I get emails if the phone is off (I do not understand how this works exactly)?

  Is there anything else I should disable?

  The books said to delete incoming emails after responding.  I have a bunch of old emails on this subject.  Is part of the problem?  I have now deleted all e-mails on this subject.

  You most likely have an application that runs in the background as the browser, or something, to drain the battery.

  The browser should be closed after use (Menu > close) not using the red end call key.

• Should I cancel my U410

  I ordered my U410 ultrabook 1 July, it is now July 16 and the estimated delivery date is July 26. In addition to this infuriating waiting time to get my machine before school starts, I find a LOT of posts on the problems on the U410, mainly the autonomy batteries which lasts 2 hours and horrible WiFi. I'm debating honestly or not cancel this U410 and simply never bother with Lenovo. This was my first purchase from Lenovo, and I don't know if I want to do my last or not.

  "Compatible" batteries are what I call 'knock offs '. They are manufactured in factories in China who cannot adhere to work practices you would tolerate. Otherwise, how can they do a laptop battery for $20-30 shipped from China? However, they are usually good usable batteries and I sheepishly admits their purchase from time to time for laptops more alumni where it is difficult to justify the $80 for a battery.

At the present time, I have a combination of gadgets with their own adapters; the most powerful is the 11W one for my iPad Air. Because now I have so many devices that require simultaneous Chargers, I thought I'd do a couple of additional adapters, probably one for the large iPad (15W). I can also convert a couple of wall sockets. These outputs 2. 1A @5v it is 10W. Here's my question:

  I know that a device will draw only enough juice for its own needs and so there is no problem to use a 15W for an iPhone adapter for examples. However, I also know that the low amp load is better for the life of the battery (for example load 200mA only AA batteries for example). Are Apple devices 'smart' enough to regulate how they charge? Or if you only use the amperage/power appropriate for the device in question?
