  I got this simple piece of code that I expect to work, but it does not have anything on the screen. I have an application that extends the Application, running in the background.like this

  When I run the present, it executes all the instructions print hoowever successfully, it does not show the popup or the dialog box on the screen at all.

  The problem was that I didn't know that it was essential to enterEventDispatcher() even in Applications. But now I know.

• Text field formatting, I'm doing it wrong?

  I'm moving in AS 3.0, finally, and I run into trouble with formatting of a text field created in As it load the text very well, but it doesn't format correctly. What Miss me? Just a tip, the text field is created on a black background, which is why the white text and border. Help!

  I want to say that you're doing anything wrong, because it seems that it should do what you want, but then I'd be wrong. To use the setTextFormat, apply it after that the text has been entered into the textfield. Instead, you can leave the line of code where it is, but replace it with the defaultTextFormat assignment (property):

  txtWhat.defaultTextFormat = txtBody;

  If you check the help file, from what I can decipher, it indicates the setTextFormat method to apply the format to the specified (default text to all what is there), so if there is no text when it is applied, it affects all nothing to the format.

• Indoor walk/run - HR monitor does not?

  If not sure if this is a bug or if the program was designed like that, but when I select the indoor walking or exercise running, the watch does not monitor my heart rate (I tried with a chest strap (Polar) and optical sensor). How it exactly calculate calories burned if you don't measure my HR? Just by the time and distance? Especially for me who works on a maximum incline on treadmill.

• NB200 running Windows XP - what is wrong with my USB ports?

  I recently bought a new NB200 and have had a problem with my USB ports since then.
  Regardless, the two ports of HHR work fine with my Logitech wireless mouse - unless I have fixed via a USB hub. When I use the second port to connect any other device - in this case an external DVD - RW - the mouse just freezes. Meanwhile, the DVD - RW himself is recognized by Device Manager, etc - ('output work well - with plenty of power available per port), but it is nevertheless unable to work and Windows Explorer is unable to read any disc inserted in it.
  In addition, the USB port on the lhs is pure decoration only; nothing that I relate to it (even the mouse) won't work, neither will the capacity load & sleep (at one of the 4 Modes).
  I uninstalled the USB controllers and the ports using the Device Manager which, after re-booting, continues to report that all is well, both with the devices I attached and the ports themselves, though i's obviously not yet!
  I am concerned that I am still unable to create a recovery disk if the worst should happen if someone can help me solve my Riddle, please?
  I'm doing something wrong or, less likely to be the case, I am sure, is there maybe a problem with my machine?

• 'Run as administrator' does not not with SP1.

  I have updated several of my laptops to SP1.

  Users of these laptops are defined as standard users, in the past when they want to install something and I was on their laptop I just ran the application using "Run as Administrator". This allowed me to run the Setup file and install the application without problems.
  Now I have SP1 the "run as Administrator" does nothing outside to tell me that I need to be logged in as an administrator.
  Can I do to get the "run as Administrator" is working again?

  Check your hard drive for errors:

  Click Start

  Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

  Click on "Run as Administrator"

  At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

  When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

  At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

  This will check for any breach of integrity

  Run as Admin does not (UAC active), I get an error that says: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

  My account is admin and I still get this problem.
  If I disable UAC and then I still get the error.
  The strange thing is that when I restart my computer run as Admin works once, then stops again.

  Also if I right click on an exe which requires administrator privileges and then he rowed for a while, then opens the menu, but any other exe opens the menu immediately.

When I re-import them in Lr, the changes are not there. My workflow is to do nothing after development or export them to the original with a new file name destination. Anyway, it is that they get a new file name without change of development when they are imported into Lr.  Please help (PC user)

  And others have explained, Lightroom does not apply the changes to the file. All changes are stored in the catalog, and then applied to the image when it is displayed in Lightroom. If you want a copy of the image with any changes so that you can share with others or send it to a laboratory to print, then you must export a copy of this image by using the export dialog box in Lightroom.

  I was under the impression that the trial was full featured, but this feature seems to be disabled for me... The 'ok' button is not available, it is grayed out. I can choose a folder, but I can't change the name of the domain or click ok. I need to see my work in a few browsers before I can really evaluate this program.

  I upgraded to Firefox 5, both until after that update window would act as an update was coming, but it just runs non-stop.
  I use Little Snitch, who remains on, has however never apply for access authorization highlight. And I can't turn off just in case Firefox will offer an update, in which case it is the software that it does not ask for Permission of LIttle Snitch.
  Is there a bug in it wrong somewhere?

  The dataProvider property is typed IList (ArrayList, ArrayCollection collection, etc...) and not table.  If you use ArrayList instead of Array, it should work.  Try this:
