  I just do a fresh install of the latest version of Mac OS X (10.11.4) yesterday and I set up all my accounts, applications, plugins, etc.

  I met a problem when I wanted to install my VPN client. The installer would not lance. I contacted their support and they suggested that my account privileges were defective. I had to do a second admin account and try to run the installer it.

  I tried this and it worked! The installer would launch as it should. This means however that my first created account (created when you set up when you first start) is broken and not completely an admin from my laptop. The check mark from the admin is checked in the settings of the system, but apparently due to a bug I am not allowed to run .pkg installers or authenticate the VPN client to change my network configurations. When I get the pop-up to enter my password it just comes back. I also tried to use the account name and the password of the second account, but it does not work either.

  I could move all my stuff on the newly created account, but that would mean I have to reconfigure everything. It would be very boring, because I did all this and it's a lot of work.

  Someone here who has the same kind of problem? Or someone who knows how I can get my return permissions, or use the second account to authenticate the changes?

  I came across administrative accounts that are damaged over time, and while there might be ways to fix permanently, I don't know if these solutions work in the long term.   This tells Windows not not to check this drive at startup. Reboot and it should go on the desktop. Once Windows loaded, run cmd and:

  CHKDSK will run through all 5 steps. After that it's over, always in cmd:

  fsutil dirty query c: (or the appropriate drive letter) [Enter]

  to see that the dirty bit is not set on this drive.

  Looks like your project file become corrupted, you could try a clean wipe of the sdk/ndk parameters and workspace you and reinstall.

• Laptop running Windows 7 does not start if the external hard drive is connected

  I know what is already on a thread, but here it is again (i.e. thread became uncontrollable anyway and did not offer me solutions). I have an ASUS K53S laptop computer Series and use it as a desktop PC. It sits on my desk and never move, I plugged my larger screen, a keyboard and mouse, printer and external hard drive that I keep all my information on i rarely save to local disk. These things represent more than ports USB to the laptop, I have a hub 4 ports on there also. It is just background information; I mean, the laptop is a must.

  Here's the problem: when I start, as I do every morning, I used to see ASUS inspire Innovation - first of all, persistent Perfection for about 1 second, then the laptop will just get on the job and complete its start-up in about a minute (including login). Which was very good until a few days ago when things started slows down a bit, then I rebooted as I always used to with my Windows XP tour. All closed but return is reactivated and it hung on the opening screen of ASUS and show no signs of getting further.   I'm new to OPA and OPM tools and any recently installed the application from Oracle Policy Modeling, so I'm trying to build and run my project "hello world", but I get on a pop-up saying this: "org/apache/juli/record/LogFactory.

  I should mention that I have already configured Tomcat path in the Options tab of the server shipped with my tomcat installation path. In addition, if left blank, the same error message appears.

  When OPM start the Tomcat process, it keeps in memory the Tomcat status reports.  Due to the path of Tomcat pointing to an incompatible version of Apache Tomcat, Tomcat reports a failed State, when you fix the problem (by removing the path of Tomcat) then Tomcat is able to start properly, however it does not send any immediately OPM a new status (because it has not finished to start properly) OPM will always see the previous state , and think it has yet.

  You can't fix this bug, however if you exit and then restart OPM after removing the path of Tomcat, then OPM will forget any previous has no status.

• 'Run as administrator' does not not with SP1.

  I have updated several of my laptops to SP1.

  Users of these laptops are defined as standard users, in the past when they want to install something and I was on their laptop I just ran the application using "Run as Administrator". This allowed me to run the Setup file and install the application without problems.
  Now I have SP1 the "run as Administrator" does nothing outside to tell me that I need to be logged in as an administrator.
  Can I do to get the "run as Administrator" is working again?

  Check your hard drive for errors:

  Click Start

  Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

  Click on "Run as Administrator"

  At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

  When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.
