  I think I got this, just need confirmation, before I was going to HP.com to find udpated pilots, then site Web HP said if computers purchased after August 2013 have been tested, I think you could get the updates via the HP with WIN10 site.  My pc model was purchased in February 2013, it seems now that I have WIN10 there is no drivers for me page to go it says that I need to go to the updates of Windows.  Before I upgraded to 10, I was 8, and I had full access to the drivers download through HP.com page.  However, I think I understand now, I had a problem with the Norton Removal Tool, after using it, it makes my pilot biometric and disabled the Windows Hello to WIN10 - the reader of fingerprints for a connection.  The pilot appeared to be corrupted and I needed to just reinstall.  I finally found an old forum via HP where someone has had the same problem that I did and they are found to include a link for the driver, and it worked for my model of laptop and solved the problem.  After some tests, I uninstalled the driver and learned at that time, after the driver is uninstalled, I can go to Windows Update and it will search and find the driver that I uninstalled and offer me the download to reinstall.  That's cool.  So, I understand now that even now if the drivers are not available for my model via HP.com, I can now just do a search through Windows Update and it will fix the problem, only after that I uninstalled it through Control Panel, Device Manager, once I uninstalled, restarted the computer, then did the updates of Windows It downloaded the driver, like when I went to the Control Panel, Device Manager, I saw the biometric driver in good working condition.  This is the case now with who need driver updates / reinstall?  (Note: to update the drivers, I know too much, you can go to control panel, Manager of devices, and then click the driver and select Update driver software.)

  125 KB is obviously not a ServicePack because this would be much MB in size, you have a number of KB (knowledge base) to go with the annoying update?

  Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors.   This model is quite old and has been supported for Win7. I can just say... no luck. A lot of older machines may well work with newer operating systems, but they are not officially supported.

  What should do? Try to check if the drivers, tools and utilities for a newer machine with similar hardware can be used on your laptop Satellite A.

  I had the similar problem in the past with Vista and no supported Win7.

  I have a program to create images of backup of my hard drive.   Without a rescue boot disk, the image is useless.    I want to be able to retrieve my whole hard drive in the event of a disaster, not only my documents and files.   I don't want if sit and wait for SP2 to retrieve all published updates.  That could take days.  Macrium Reflect is a free software that allows you to do exactly that, the problem is, Vista is locked, I have to pay for the version that has the PE file that will allow me to create my rescue CD.   I can respect the fact that you don't want other software distributors using Microsoft property without paying, but I already paid for Vista.  What other programs Ichose to run with him should not be hindered by the latter.  Windows XP it didn't need, and these people are happy as clams.  Me.
