I upgraded from XP MCE to Vista 32 Ultimate with a retail DVD Microsoft puirchase.  The new operating system works fine, except when I'm looking for support, I am directed to the manufacturer of the computer.  I applied again the DVD product identification numbers, and I did it again by telephone without change.  I would like to take advantage of all the free support is available with a level of detail.

    Large companies have so-called 'customer' support a glorified firewall to keep customers away, but Adobe seems to have it taken a step further. I need customer support to activate my product but "cat" is not available and the phone number gives a bunch of unsolicited messages and disconnects. I even tried sales and this option is returned as an option 'unrecognized '! I have to hand it to them. The firewall of ultimate customer service! Any ideas how to get through Adobe?

    It is quite possible that I'm a bunch of stupid.  I fooled myself by not to see the complete list of options (reprisé scroll menu drop-down menus.)  Since it was an upgrade, he also wanted CS4's original registration number.  That could be clearer, but... I'll take part of the blame.  Thank you and sorry to be grumpy.

  • Nobody knows the largest available space supported for vmfs data store when creating a new form of vmfs data store a 3T lun mapped from FC storage.

    I traced a form of lun 3 t FC storage.

    And the project to create a vmfs on this lun, creating, data store, space available by default is 1024 G, no 3 t, so I guess that maybe some limitations.

    The limit is 2 TB - 512Bytes

    That 512 bytes is VERY important to remember.

    You will see that 1 TB as it roles once you exceed 2 tablespoons.

    As Anton suggested you can use two 1.5 TB LUN safely. However, you can in fact more than 500 GB LUNS or such. Will the LARGEST you can is not always the most efficient allocation of resources.

  • Photo in my bed even 2nd iCloud Apple Support cannot remove, what to do next?

    I am the most disappointed with Apple at this point

    When iCloud library started, I download all my family photo on iCloud.

    Then, woman is crazy, saying: I shouldn't put this stuff online so I deleted the iCloud photo library all... so I thought.

    Couple months later, I noticed some of my photos still on iCloud.com and cannot be removed by what I have (from Mac, Safari in iOS).

    After going through 2 of the 2nd support row AppleCare and the appointment of 1 hr at Apple store, they say basically there is nothing that can make.

    They can put a "request" to the server, but none of them do not know when or if it can be fixed. They cannot even give an ETA.

    I was told it could be days, weeks or months, essentially any time from here to eternity. "Please be patient".

    While they are working on it, I was told to backup all my iCloud files, since it can be destroyed at anytime. What?

    This means that all the files I put on iCloud would be endangered since you can't save all the files all the time.

    Top icing of this, is that I still pay for the storage of the photo, I want to be deleted because they take the space of my iCloud.

    Yes, $1 per month is not a big deal, but it's the principle of things.

    I've exhausted every available public support, telephone support AppleCare at the Genius bar to twitter.

    Heck, I even sent this story of * and find this address is no longer available (fact Tim Cook no longer want to receive e-mail from fan?)

    Yes, it has changed a bit since this thread was started 9 months ago. Support for Firefox 3.6.x continues and versions 4 + lose support at the next new version is available. Support for Firefox 7 ended when Firefox 8 came out yesterday 11 / 08.

    Support for 3.6.x will likely end early next year when the proposed new ESR (Extended Support Release) comes to massive institutional facilities / corporate. ESR is proposed for a week 42 version support cycle timetable of a 'standard' of the week quick release 6.

    Hi, I am interested in buying a range of printers HP ePrint enabled with the «Scan to Cloud» feature However, I can't find any information online about what cloud services are supported. I would particularly like to the printer to be able to direct scanning to Dropbox.

    There are a few applications available that support scanning to cloud, the two I know are an application of google docs and box.net application. I have not seen all apps for available dropbox.

    These are also completely made on the printer, the only thing than a PC or a mobile device is needed for is to make the account to www.eprintcenter.com and manage the account if necessary.

    The alternative is scanning to email app available that can send scans to your email instead of this account, and you could then move them to your dropbox account.

  • How can I load Vista Service Pack 2? I get the same error messages when I try to download it from the Microsoft support site

    I have a Dell computer with a 32-bit version Vista Ultimate factory loaded. Service Pack 1 is loaded.  I tried to load Vista Service Pack 2 several times by using the following procedure and it does not load.
    -From Microsoft technical support I click Download (using a cable modem) and click on the file to run.   The file MB 475 downloads in about 5 minutes.
    -Click on install Vista Service Pack 2 and it starts to install
    -After about 10 minutes, a message appears "installation was not successful 800F081F error Code.  A system error not install the service pack.  Please download and run the tool to "Check for System Update Readiness". »
    -J' I download system analysis tool and start the installation.
    -Get a message "Installation update for Windows (KB947821) update 1 of 1"
    -After a long time, a message appears saying that the Installation has failed with an error Code 800706BE.

    I repeated this process several times and always get the same result.
    My McAfee security software and spyware blocker is disabled during this process

    The SG300 series can't RIP. Only static routes (up to 32) are supported. However, models of SG500X support the dynamic routing RIP version 2 Protocol.

    Regarding the new firmware Sx300, he added a number of security features impressive including inspection IP ARP, DHCP snooping and encryption of SSD.
