  If vCenter is offline, I'll try to add hosts to the new vCenter. I'm sure it will connect.

  Step 1

  I am running windows xp family.  I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, I get this message when I try and print to my lexmark x 1270 "communication not available with the printer. I tried every troubleshooter, I contacted Lexmark support that they gave up, saying: it must be a file is missing from the windows registry, you can help me?

  It seems that if you say that the pilots were not reinstalled successfully.  What was the mystery file that could not be found?

  Do you remember how the software has been uninstalled?  Was something else than the control panel > Add / Remove Programs (or the link "Uninstall" from start > all programs) used?

  If you do not really clean things, attempts to reinstall the printer drivers may actually just end up putting the old drivers back in place.

  This is the easiest way to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers: Article 1.  The critical step is #4.

  I asked the firewall and antivirus applications because sometimes, some security software may interfere with the printers.  This shouldn't be a problem with the firewall of Windows XP and Microsoft Security Essentials.

  Finally, your problem could end up being hardware related.  Lexmark support has no hardware troubleshooting operation?  The manual for your x 1270 says:

  All-in-One is not communicating with the computer

  1. disconnect and reconnect both ends of the USB cable. For more help, see the

  2 unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, plug it in again, and

  If you have another type of printer USB cable, you should try it exchanges.  Ideally, you need to connect to the printer on another computer, but maybe it's not convenient for you.

However, VSAN does not re-protection of the object. This is not because of the timer (timer period of reduced availability - no reconstruction) - but for other reasons. This could be because there are not enough resources in the cluster, or maybe it's because there was not enough resources in the past, or there was a failure to protect back into the past and VSAN has yet attempted. See the limits for an initial assessment health check if all resources can be exhausted. You must resolve the failure or add resources as quickly as possible in order to return to be fully protected against a subsequent failure.

  Here is the output of the command "vsan.vm_object_info 7".

  The virtual machine has multiple disks, but it's the only one who has this problem.

  It would be good if VSAN just deleted those OUTDATED and created new ones.

  Hello, you mentioned you tried "Repair of the items immediately", have you tried re - apply storage strategy?  Or maybe make a new one with slightly different settings (bandwidth = 2) and then apply?  My other thought would be storage motion it to another... and then storage proposal it back to vSAN.

  Side note, forget you the support is not not admissible.  It is also something that I noticed, when I called support, I often get out "the guy who knows vSAN is not available, it will remind you.  Really?  "They guys."  Either way, it seems lack of resources of support for VSANs.

  I'm having a problem with Remove-VDSwitchVMHost which is a bit frustrating. I have a script that I use to rebuild hosts in my environment when we upgrade versions. I recently changed my vDS switches. When the host is rebuilt, there is a phantom entry in the vDS for the old server. For some reason, I can't remove it with Remove-VDSwitchVMHost.

  

  The two hosts in this group appear in the GUI. Esxt21 is the server, I just rebuilt and added to the vCenter.

  When you go through PowerCLI, it presents different information:

  

  When I get home: get-vmhost $vmhost | Get-VDSwitch nothing is returned. If I list the switch first, then get-vmhost, it shows data:

  I can delete the host via the interface graphics, but which goes against the idea of a script

  Someone had a bit of luck with this?

• Cannot add a host with the host name in VC

  Hi all

  Nice day.

  I just finished the installation of 2 servers esx4.0, Vartual Center Server and domain controller server in my home test harness. I added both the host esx server in DNS records. then I tried to add hosts to VC by using the host name, then I get the error message like

  "Unable to contact the (xxxxx) host specified. "the host may not be available on the network, a network cofiguraion problem can exhist or that management on this host services may not respond.

  I checked that all are ping and found no network configuration problem. I am able to add a host using the IP address, but not with the host name. I checked services in VC, all services run very well. Earlier I never had this problem.

  Please help me if someone has the solution.

• Cannot remove hosts to dvSwitch

  Hey there,

  I got a dvSwitch with two hosts on that and I'm trying to remove it completely.  I managed to remove one of the hosts of the dvSwitch with ease... However, a fair didn't budge.

  I get an error stating: "could not complete the operation Distributed Virtual Switch for one or several members of host.  DVS failed on host2, error during the configuration of the host: DVPort "1421" on DVSwitch "DvsPortset-0" is still in use: got exception (vim.fault.PlatformConfigFault). ""

  Now... There is no "1421" on the dvSwitch port.  All groups of ports have been removed. 'All' has been removed from the dvSwitch...

  Anyone have any ideas?  I try to avoid a reboot at all costs, but if necessary, I'll take it down late at night.

  I was getting the same message "the 119 resource is still in use.  DVS dvSwitch1 "119" port is still in use oucederomsurlesecondport host-host esx "when trying to extract my host of the DVS switch so I went around to it by right-clicking on the ESX host and disconnect then I was able to clear the host of the DVS switch

• Guest VM not synchronized with the host

  We have a host of VM Cluster 8 all set to have their time synchronized to the same source NTP.  I checked the time is correct on all of my guests.  1 computer, I put to synchronize with its ' host, one of our domain controllers, is still off in a few minutes.  I changed the time on the NTP source and hosts updated accordingly.  I have to restart the operating system asked for time to resynchronize or do I stop/start the vmtools?  Since it is a domain controller I am wary to do it in the middle of the day, but I'll come on a Thursday night so I can do after hours if this is the solution.

  BTW, I think remember reading an article about hosting Active Directory on a computer virtual de VMWare.  I can't find it now, only the link Ms.

  Lucky you that I still have a copy somewhere on my laptop and I have the gasket for comments. Better is to get VMworld.com if you have an account. I will remove it when you are finished with the download to prevent the issue of copy right.

• Assess the VC with ESXi hosts

  I have a number of ESXi hosts and want to evaluate VC and all the features of business with our existing ESXi hosts.

  In the documentation for the assessment of the VC2.5, it states that once installed VC and ESX3.5 no license requirements for the first 60 days and that all VI3 functions will be available during this period.

  It does not refer to ESXi and how these hosts must be configured (license config) for use with VC and all features, Vmotion, HA, DRS etc.

  My understanding is that ESXi hosts should be configured with the database server licenses to allow them to participate in the assessment, as features such as vmotion, etc. require VC/license server bases. Obviously if I was evaluating ESX3.5 then no config would be necessary because it also allows all the features for the first 60 days. ESXi is however not evaluated and thus does not give access to the full functionality for 60 days.

  How should the environment be configured to allow the use of CR 60 days eval with ESXi hosts using all the features - vmotion, HA and DRS.

  Please can someone explain this for me?

  Even when assessing the VC, you need to install a license server is placed just in evaluation mode - this is the server licenses as dolse on DBS licenses, HA and vMotion.

  If you are not the original owner of the MBP you must erase the SSD drive and reinstall the os x which then attaches your ID for the MBP.

  You can do this by starting the MBP in the restoration of the Internet by using the OPTION, COMMAND + R keys.  The result will be a presentation with a rotating globe:

  

  This will connect you to the Apple servers.  Following the directions, you get this menu:

  

  First use disk utility to erase the SSD drive.

  Then click "Reinstall Mac OS x"
