If cookies turned on 'show cookies' screen remains empty. Was not used to.

I wish to keep cookies disabled and remains in the Mode of protection of personal information. When I know that a site needs cookies, I click on "accept cookies" in preferences/privacy. In the past when I had finished using the site I fight 'remove all cookies' and open the submenu "cookies see the. They used to show here. Now they never do, so I never know if they are deleted. (If I understand well in Mode of protection of the personal information that they should all be deleted leaving Firefox). I know that I'm allowing cookies when I take these steps as if I do not have sites requiring cookies will ask me to allow them. Better, I can understand some glitch coming in Firefox and I just wanted to report to you. From my point of view I would hate to think that these cookies are somehow stay on my computer.

All the best.

The current version of Firefox are not showing the cookies in the Cookie Manager, if you're in private browsing mode.

In private browsing mode, all cookies are session cookies that only last for the current session or in private browsing mode window, and the developers have decided to not not show cookies in the Cookie Manager in this case.

Exceptions are defined must have effect.

If unfortunately if you choose to be in the mode of private browsing then you won't be able to inspect the cookies in a private browsing mode window.

    The hd works fine again, I tried to plug it into a TV to see if it works, but no signal is found. I was informed by a friend that it could be a problem with the graphics card, I wonder if it can simply be exchanged if I buy a new one or if he joined, and I have to replace the whole motherboard?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Even if the HARD drive is faulty, the laptop should be able to IT and you should see the home Toshiba on the internal display screen.
    If its definitely NOT drive HARD problem.

    You said that you have connected the laptop to the TV. You see the start of Toshiba on the external monitor (TV) screen? Are you able to access the BIOS by pressing F2?

    If this is not the case, there is certainly a hardware problem.
    It could be a fault of memory modules, graphics card or the same motherboard malfunction could be possible.

    GPU problems or the motherboard, the whole motherboard must be replaced and that's expensive fix because mobo belongs more expensive laptop.

  • Re: TV TOSHIBA 26EL800A - TV is on, but the screen remains empty

    Hi all

    I have a Toshiba TV 26EL800A purchased in May of this year. Tried to turn on the TV using the remote control mode standby (red light) to on (green light) that has the remote control - the screen remains empty (as there is no power) and after a few seconds the light changes again red - standby again.

    Tried this using the keys on the TV as well and the same thing (have checked batteries for remote control, checked PowerPoint (my dvd player works the same record 2 and it works) but don't know what else is causing the screen lights?)

    Any suggestions?

    I put t really know if you can find the solution here on the computer systems forum.
    What you can try is to unplug TV, leave for a while and check again.

    If the same thing will happen again and again I recommend to contact your local dealer and ask for help or contact the provider of Toshiba directly.

  • MacBook Pro 2015 turns on but the screen remains black...

    Hello

    Today, I tried to turn on my MacBook Pro, but my screen stays black. When I press the caps lock button, it turns green which I guess means he lit. I've also heard the startup chime it generally makes when you turn on. I already tried to turn it on and off several times and reset the SMC and the LANDAU... The screen is always black.

    Could someone help me please?

    Also a few minutes ago the fan has started to make noise in the macbook...

    But the screen remains black.

    Thank you

    Shaynidw

    Hi shaynidw,

    From your description, it seems that your MacBook Pro is powered, as soon as you hear the startup chime and see the light on the keyboard.  Thus, it seems that the problem may be with your screen or the video card.

    On the screens you see when you start your Mac

    Power on

    When you turn on your Mac, display is off (black) and you hear a startup chime. Your Mac Initializes his BootROM and memory (RAM live). It then performs a power - on that self test (POST) and a test of BootROM. If you hear beeps or chimes at this stage, this indicates a possible hardware problem and start stops. If you add memory to your Mac, check that it is installed correctly.

    White screen

    After that only walking self-test is completed, your Mac sends a video signal to your connected screens. The screen may appear black or grey at this point in the boot sequence and backlight of the screen should light up. If you do not see the image appears on your screen after a few moments, try increasing the brightness of your screen. If you use an external monitor, make sure it is properly connected and turned on.

    shaynidw, if set up the brightness of your screen does not help, you have an external display (computer screen or TV) that you can attach to your MacBook Pro to test?

    In addition, you can try to start your computer in safe mode to see if you get different results.

    Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

    If the problem persists, you may need to take your computer to an Apple Store or service provider authorized Apple , so they can inspect the video card and cables to isolate the problem.

    Take care.

  • When I turn on Satellite L350D-131 the screen remains empty

    When I try to turn it on on my computer laptop powers but the screen remains blank

    Hello

    I read a lot about similar symptoms of portable and in most cases users were abele to solve this problem by following this short and simple solution;

    -Unplug the power adapter, remove the battery
    -leave the laptop disconnected for a longer period of time (3-4 hours waiting)
    -then connect the two parts, and switch on the device.

    I think that should help if there is no serious hardware problem

  • HP Pavilion g7-1261nr turns on but the screen remains blank

    I turned on my HP Pavilion g7-1261nr the other day, and the fan ran hard, as well as the caps lock and number lock LED flashes once every two seconds. The screen remains blank during the process. Could someone help me with this problem please?

    PcMatic I invite you to read the links provided, because they are there to help.

    If you entered my link, you would have seen this:

    Caps Lock/Num Lock LED component tested error Condition

    LED flashes 1 time CPU CPU not functional

    2 times for BIOS BIOS corruption failure LEDs blinking

    LED flashes 3 times non-functional Memory Module error

    LED flashes 4 times Graphics Graphics controller not functional

    Map of 5 times the system board failure system general LEDs flashing

    Authentication failed for the BIOS BIOS 6 times blinking of the LEDs

    According to the times that they blink, of what I mean, it's once and then a pause. Which would indicate that the CPU is broken.

    Only a repair can fix that.

  • Satellite A100-049 screen remains empty when reactivated from sleep mode

    Intermittently, have been left for a while my screen A100-049 remains empty when reactivated from sleep mode. It does not meet the access keys and have checked the settings which seem to agree.

    Notice that in this case the power button remains 'blue' and not to return to 'Orange flashing. Is this a common problem?

    Hello

    What do you with the mode 'sleep'? Do you mean the hibernation mode or the mode booth? What operating system do you use?

    Listen buddy. It's really not easy to say why it happens without running diagnostic tests. I think you should try to update the graphics driver and check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS. Two updates might be useful in resolving these issues

  • Having trouble installing Photoshop elements 13. [was: I wonder if I may be somehow went to creative cloud because something crossed my screen, but I'm not used to this do]

    I could really use help Service the customer. I got Photoshop Elements as a Christmas gift... I'm waiting until I got a new laptop so that I could use that as I had trouble with the old computer. However, I cannot install the software... I swear to you that the dvd has added programs, and I saw them in the files explore I think, but then I can't find I was not able to add the serial number to my knowledge, because it was empty... no strikes appeared... and I don't see the program anywhere... Did I get something wrong and it is somewhere in the cloud?

    You do not install in the cloud, so he won't be there anywhere.  If you have a Windows machine you can see the program appear in the-> Add/Remove Programs Control Panel?  If SO, right click on the headings in that table and choose more-> location and he can show you where each program is installed in another column

  • Computer screen remains empty when the computer is started.

    I recently moved my computer in a another part of the House and when I got back everything was working properly.  I was in the middle of the removal of unused on my computer programs when I had a program not responding do not message.  All the icons have disappeared off the screen and the taskbar, but I could still see the background.  I shut down the computer manually becase Ctrl + alt + delete didn't work.  Now, when I turn the computer on the gateway screen comes up and the green bar when windows is preparing to start, but it loads a blank screen. The only visible thing on it is the mouse pointer.  I tried to use the windows vista operating cd but it wont run it.  Any ideas?

    No you can hear it running.  I would say that it was computer games that I uninstall and the wireless card that I used on it, now it is connected directly to the wireless router. Also, I forgot to mention in the post above that I had the computer on it two weeks and when I had it up and running in the other room windows defender came on wanting scanner, so I let it scan and then the antivirus software did a scan of the computer.  They both finished without any problems.  My antivirus (McAfee) software installed updates at the time wherever it froze.

    go to safe mode (press f8 when you turn on your pc) then preform scan using

    Malwarebyte s

    and get avast download or try the mcafee update after scaning above programs using

    then in safe mode go to msconfig by typing it in the search box of windows and enter presing. then prepare your computer to clean boot by disabling all startup items and non-windows services. then restart?

  • Transparent footer on slide show full-screen does render does not correctly

    I placed a white box to 80% opacitiy behind the text in my footer for the page footer displays before a slideshow full screen. It looks perfect in Design view, but when I preview the page transparency makes that in the top 20 pixels of the white box. The rest of the transparent white box isn't here, so the text is unreadable in front of the picture (see images).

    The foot is on the master page on a top-level slide show, which is on a content page.

    Thank you!

    DesignMode.jpgPreview.jpg

    Hello

    Please check a few possibilities:

    -If no composition is used on the page, try to check if there is space between bordered rectangle border (foot) and the frame of the composition.

    -Check if a footer overlaps with another element on the page

    -Try to reduce the block of text for this text frame border does not falls on rectangle border edges.

    -Preview in browser (use of different browsers)

    -resize the rectangle (with opacity)

    If there is still the same, so please let me know the url of the site.

    Thank you

  • Button screen bitmap PopUp do not use opaque background

    I have a custom button png I created, it includes an opaque background. I use this button anywhere in my app and it works perfectly in the normal screens. However when I put them in the custom context menu screens, the opaque turns into a white color. I need to solve this problem. Please tell me any code you must see. Thank you!!

    I think the problem might be in the substantive Manager, it's here for a normal screen:

    this.getMainManager (.setBackground)
    BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("background1.png")));

    This is for a pop-up screen:

    () this.setBackground
    BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("backgroundProfile.png")));

    For the pop-up screen, I can't use getMainManager(), and when I try to use getManager() gives me a nullPointer exception.

    Please help, thanks

    I mentined about that I wasn't convinced thuis was your problem, the important thing that I told you about PopupScreen was how to find the NManager.

    That said, some of your code LabelField seems wrong:

    Protected Sub paint (Graphics Graphics) {}
    graph.fillRect (0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());
    graph.setColor (Color.RED);
    Super.Paint (Graph);
    }

    You have not set a color for the first fillRect, so it will be whatever color the LabelField normally use, who is black.  So I think you're just lucky that your code works.

    In the LabelField PopupScreen you added

    graph.setBackgroundColor (Color.BLACK);

    This in fact has no effect on the fileRect, but is effective the next graph.clear (), and then it will take your Bkacground color.

    I would recommend that you change these two areas to do the following, which I think will give you black backgrounds and red text in both cases:

    LabelField t1 = new LabelField ("Example")
    {

    Protected Sub paintBackground (Graphics Graphics) {}

    try {}
    graph.setBackgroundColor (Color.BLACK);

    Graph.Clear ();

    }
    Protected Sub paint (Graphics Graphics) {}
    graph.setColor (Color.RED);
    Super.Paint (Graph);
    }
    };

    If you make this change and corrects LabelField, perhaps a similar change will fix your buttons?

    In fact, to make sure that your code has no effect in Sweden, I would like to change your code as follows:

    LabelField t1 = new LabelField ("Example")
    {

    Protected Sub paint background (Graphics Graphics) {}

    int currCol = graph.getBackgroundColor ();

    try {}
    graph.setBackgroundColor (Color.BLACK);

    Graph.Clear ();

    } {Finally

    graph.setBackgroundColor (currCol);

    }

    }
    Protected Sub paint (Graphics Graphics) {}

    int currCol = graph.getColor ();

    try {}
    graph.setColor (Color.RED);
    Super.Paint (Graph);

    } {Finally

    graph.setColor (currCol);

    }
    }
    };

    Maybe you should contact Toshiba and let check your laptop. They have diagnostic tools and may know what is the problem.

    I have a laptop Satellite A300. I tried to turn it on when I got home from work and the screen remains blank. The bottom (plug, power and battery lights) turns on but the screen remains black.

    Can someone help me?

    Hello

    It of hard to say what's going wrong here, but maybe it s just a small issue that could be solved easily.
    Try this;
    Remove the battery, disconnect the adapter.
    A few hours and reconnect the two parts.
    I had this problem in the past and leave the laptop disconnected during the night.
    The next day, I connected battery and adapter A\c and the laptop worked again

    Maybe this will help you too

  • Acer blue 720 and the fan are on but the screen remains black

    Hello

    I appreciate any help that can be provided.  I tried to remove the batter on my daughter 720 and reinsert, but this problem persists.  I can hear the fan and the blue light turns on but the screen remains black.  I tried to rest for 30 seconds and esc, refresh and power.

    Thank you

    Well, when the scrween does not at all (even in text mode which allows a recovery) then it is most often a problem with the cable bwteeen the motherboard and screen, most often following it is a failure of the screen (which requires generally a matter of co-location as cracked screen) and from time to time, it is the motherboard. Probably time to contact Acer support to see on a repair.
