  I am junior DBA and I have a question about tablespace partitioning or data file sharing.

  I have a database of 10g in many storage spaces, for example:

  KER_DATA_2009_Q1

  KER_DATA_2009_Q2

  KER_DATA_2009_Q3

  KER_DATA_2009_Q4

  KER_INDX_2009_Q1

  KER_INDX_2009_Q2

  KER_INDX_2009_Q3

  KER_INDX_2009_Q4

  There is also a data file for each tablespace that is mentioned.

  But for this year 2013, only two big storage space I can get one and data KER_DATA, KER_INDX files.

  All tables and indexes in the whole database are KER_DATA, KER_INDX, tablespaces.

  I don't know any cut in two storage spaces and means of data files. Is this something like tablespace partitioning? This can be done automatically or someone needed to do it manually on the end of each quarter?

  This should be done to improve performance, several small files data instead a large?

  Can some admin explain this to me?

  The reason for this separation of database/tablespace was partitioning. There are a lot of tables partitioned by date column, and there are partitions for each quarter of the year. There are tablespace with a data file for each quarter (partition).

  The event has class sessions all day (3 days). I would like the page happening now to show what classes are going on right now and what is coming up next. I was hoping just to separate configuration files and load them when necessary, but open to all suggestions.

  PHP has a powerful set of date and time functions.

  To do this is to create a DateTime object and then use conditional logic to include the files you want. A better way would be to keep the details in a database and use the time to retrieve and display the details you want.

  I have requirement I need to create a statement of expenses with BI Publisher in Siebel. I need to group the items of expense by date and have a show total amount for the row and column. The report should look like this when done:

  It is a weird way to definig average. Anyway, why:

  not 2.5. I'll assume that it's a typo. Now based on Mathematics:

  1 + 2 + 3 +... + n = (1 + n) * n / 2

  We have a report columns-> 1) location 2) 3) Total sales %.
  
  In column 2, we show the total general for the 2nd column, namely SALES in a table view.
  
  Here the calculated column (Total sales %) = sales (value line) / Total big (sales).
  
  Here we see how sales for this location is contribuing.
  
  Can we some how capture the total general. We don't have dashboard... Please suggest that this can be achieved in OBIEE. I see here that we cannot use variables also can help combiing two request.

  Sum (table.sales)
  or if it does not work
  Sum (Sum (table.sales))

  Ed... Sorry for the comment about your grammar and punctuation. You erased that upward. In any case, we need your exact model number. There are a lot of G6. Look at the bottom of the laptop or in the battery compartment for a number like G6-xxxxaa, where the x are numbers and the letters a. This will allow me to know the exact references you need. Chances are that they are available on eBay Australia. Then we just need to know how we're going to get your new fan installed.
