• New ink print head error on Photosmart Plus B210 alert

  My HP Photosmart Plus B210 printer has suddenly started giving me the following error message:

  "New alert ink print head.

  Used cartridges may not be not all print head start.

  Install the new cartridge or press OK to continue with those used. »

  It was new HP brand cartridges when I installed them. I printed earlier today without any problems and did nothing for the printer before the error.

  (I use a 32 bit Windows Vista OS on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop and am printing via a wireless router.)

  -What it means and how to fix it? When I try to print, it just says: "print" on the touch screen but nothing prints ever and when I try to stop it, it freezes and I have to unplug it.

  First try printing a self-test page.
  1. click on the setup of your printer
  2. choose reports
  3. click on the status page or printer self-test report

  My B210 all-in-one worked very well. These last authentic ink cartridges are installed

  all of a sudden would print no black

  run the report print all colors but black prints but at the end of the report that it prints black brackets {} and all colors are in people with the exception of black. But it does not display the black media

  Sorry, but you will have all color cartridges in also, so that the printer to operate. The reason is that all the cartridges color another use to mix together to make a true black print. If you have color cartridges that are WEAK, it may work for a while, but it cannot work without. Thank you, hope that helped.

• HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series new magenta ink cartridge prints do not at all

  First of all, I had a problem with my cyan ink on my printer HP Photosmart B210 series. The problem was that he was not the impression and he says it wasn't printing because of the cartridge and also I had to align my cartridges. Whenever I tried to align the cartridges he says that alignment does not so I ended up trying to align them so much that I have exhausted all my ink and went out to buy all new cartridges.

  When I installed new cartridges and tried to line up once again, they all worked perfectly, but when I went to print a photo, the magenta was not yet appear. I did another test called 'Print diagnostic Information' and the magenta box is completely blank 100%. When I went to see the "estimated ink levels" he said it was perfectly fine. I tried to print a picture of a square while magenta box and the printed page was completely empty.

  Basically... How can I get my printer to recognize the new magenta cartridge because it is not currently.

  I'd say running up to three cycles of cleaning the printer before driver or Panel box tools.  If this doesn't get the magenta, then you can try soak the print head, as described here.

  [edit] Know that the ink gauge is probably not at this point clear - especially the printer like that it has printed pages of magenta at this stage, while the ink is still in the cartridge.  The ink gauge will indicate less ink cartridges is actaully available.

  Ink cartridges carriage does not come to the center when I lift the cover if I put in new cartridges.

  However, the fact printer print and copy, for transport of cartridge works for printing.  Help!

  I see that you have issues with your transport movement, but only when changing cartridges. I would like to help with that today.

  I suggest you perform a power reset. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  "I suggest also running through the steps described in this document on 'traffic Jam' or ' 0X610000F6" Message appears on the control panel, just in case there is a problem with the transport catch or delaying its movement.

  Like many I had a headache in my case with the black ink doesn't work does not, all about he makes message boards, nothing helped, still no black - arrived to the conclusion No matter how hard I cleaned the print head, that color would come out.  Finally, I got all inks to work, and I'll explain as follows:

  As I said I did a full clean truck, but just in case, I ordered a refurbished on the NET, cost me £20 inc postage, but it was planned for 12 months, so more or less NEW.

  Then first remove the old Printhead and clean (although I replaced mine with a renovated as above), on the printer where you took the print head on, there is a plate of white color with metal connectors on this point

  At this point good idea to pull the plug on the back of the printer, transportation center remained on mine not moving not

  I put a little alcohol to burn on a tissue paper and brush contacts - NOT WET, damp and dry

  In the meantime if you have the time to thoroughly clean every bit of the print head several times so that the water runs clear - by all means follow the steps already mentioned in the comments, as said that I replaced it

  Using alcohol to burn again gently clean all metal connectors and dry - contacts on the head and the machine are now 100% clean, I hope that if you've been careful enough

  replace printhead (adopted) but without the inks and keep down the lever arm on the printer, then add the inks and ensure that they adapt to the House with a click

  close the lid, now reconnect the wire on the printer and let the machine warm up

  Once he settled, try printing a color image say about size A5 or A6, so not to exhaust all other inks

  You may have healed now, otherwise the chances are that you are missing a color or a black - no problem

  With the machine, disconnect the power supply again back and wait more than 30 seconds to reset

  Put power cord back in, let the machine warm up - will likely be asked to do an alignment, click NO,

  go to the TOOLS menu on the touch screen (or on some models computer screen) and click on CLEAN PRINT head

  Wait so that it can process the cleaning and try again to print an image - MINE WORKS PERFECTLY at this POINT a and the images were as good as they have ever been.

  (OTHERWISE, you will have to redo some CLEAN print head)

  It worked for me, very happy with the machine, and I'm not saying what I did.  For those who have a go, be careful electrical contacts, etc. and everything is completely dry before the arrival of the machine.

  I'm not able to get yellow ink to print.  I ran the numbers of function clean print head of time without success.  In addition, the printer status report indicates no yellow in the estimated ink level column and the installation date of the ink does not - I just put two new cartridges yellow today!

  To clean the printhead several times and replacement of the ink cartridge. This proves that the problem is with the print head. I've included the link to the HP Forum thread "black ink does not. This has been posted for a black not printing problem, but operations continue to operate since you don't print Yellow.

• I only use genuine inks. Rarely use Photosmart Plus B210. Own leaders need too often - why?

  2 or 3 weeks can elapse between the use of printer which is kept at a reasonable temperature in the guest room. Too often, I have to go through a cleansing process to get suitable prints.

  You may just have a bad print head. You can manually take the print head on and clean it. After taking the cartridges out, there is a lever that can be lifted up. Take out the basket area and clean the bottom water and lint.

  After cleaning, see if it gives you always the same problem.

Now the ink levels are very low, black was very weak, so a bought a new set of cartridges, very expensive and yet the pages come out blank. The downloaded drivers, I use wireless connections.   Try to make a black copy using the control panel of the printer.

• very light gray printing black ink

  I changed all my cartridges and black ink is printing very light - a light gray. I returned for a new cartridge, cleaned the heads and I always have the same question. All other colors seem to be good. A test page, colors only print so I can't tell if black is currently tested-help!

  I was finally able to fix my problem.  I have reviewed the information contained in these positions; do you have the power off/power on, disconnect/connect to cables, resetting on the ink cartridge, the printer align (which was missing); However, after completing all the steps a few time the option Clean Printhead finally cleared up my problem.  Black ink is printing now.

  My husband uses this machine almost every day. The other day, he got an indicator he was more black ink and after having changed the cartridge (which we all have two made more successfully during the past two years) black will still not print. (He suspects that a package of three cartridges was defective, after two of them did not work).

  Can't get black print on Photosmart B210. Followed the instructions for the cartridge door of washing in VERY hot water and let soak for 5 minutes. I then cleaned cartridges twice and hey presto it worked perfectly. I was ready to ditch the printer. I would add that I am 83 years old but was able to follow the instructions of a useful post.
