Hello! Until recently, I've been using my Mac OS X for personal use. Internet and photos about. Now, I have a business and am trying to learn to fully use my laptop in support of my business. I downloaded the El Capitan and were a bit lost because, as I'm learning. I just bought an IPAD PRO and learn how to use this as well. I just downloaded via ITunes a few books that I read and request same "El Capitan for Dummies" library to read.
What is the best way to back up files? Should I get an external hard drive? If so, which should I expect? Recently, I signed up for the $0.99 per month ICLOUD and thought that it is a return to my files (files containing work etc.) but think that this is not the case after a lot of research?
Please advise! Thank you!
For your iPad Pro, you can use iCloud for make backups-> How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support
For your Mac, iCloud Drive allows you to store all the files you want on iCloud outside your peripheral storage space, so that you can access your files on all devices. However, you cannot make a backup of your Mac on iCloud (it would take a lot of time and storage), so in this case, you will need to get an external drive. The easiest way is to make backups of your files with Time Machine, included in OS X-> use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support
Time Machine makes automatic backups of everything on your OS X partition, so you won't have to worry about manual backups. There are also other third party applications and services to make backups too.

Cannot back up files:, error: access denied code # 0 x 80070005
When I tried to back up files through Windows, a mess of error. said: ' access denied, error 0x80070005 # I always attack I am able to back up files to an external hard drive
Hello
1 do you have full permissions to the files that you are backing up?
Looks like a problem with permissions for me. But first let's try the following steps.
Step 1: If you receive the message that your copy of Windows is not genuine, then try to validate the OS by visiting the following Web site.
Step 2: Try checking the (backup) behavior by following these steps:
(a) you might try to temporarily disable your anti-virus and malware during execution of the backup. If the backup works fine, then you have to search for updates and firewall settings in the security software.
(b) you can also try to disable user account control, while safeguarding.
Reference: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off
Note: Make sure that you enable user account control and the back of the antivirus on the computer after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.
Step 3: Check to see if there are drive errors that can cause this problem.
Reference: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/check-a-drive-for-errors
Step 4: Put the computer in a clean boot and see if it helps. Follow the instructions in step 1 in the following article. Run the backup and check if that helps.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: make sure you put the computer to a Normal startup, once the troubleshooting completed.
Hope this information is useful.

If anyone can help with the Please this problem.
Hi handymanken,
1. what operating system do you use?
2. you have made no changes to the computer before the broadcast took place?
Method 1
If you have any security software installed on the computer it would take more time for the backup center to back up files. Try to disable security software and try to make a backup and verify. If it works fine afterwards, enable the security software.
Follow the link for more information
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-softwareNote: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2
Run the check disk for bad sectors.Check a drive for errors
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/check-a-drive-for-errors
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-a-drive-for-errors
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265
Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

You have a few choices. You can buy a 3rd party program to backup such as Acronis True Image or Norton Ghostor you can install the program NTBackup comes with XP Home, but is not installed by default:

On 3 Mar 11 we couldn't send or receive e-mail. March 6, 11 we couldn't get online. The response has been"Internet Ecplorer may not display this web page. "9 Mar 11, I called Dell hardware Plug and informed them of the problem. I backed up the files when Dell informed us that the TechRep would happen on 9 Mar 11. He looked at the PC and has determined that the hard drive and motherboard were corrupt. It replaced the two parties. I waited two more days until all security documents have been uploaded. On 11 Mar 11 I tried to download the Backed-Up files in the Modem Toshiba F. I clicked on "open: for two dates in question: there were six selections: Internet Explorer, Documents, drive E, recipient of the E-Mail." WINRAR and Adobe Reader. In vain. Thank you very much for helping us with this annoying problem. E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

I want to back up files on my hard drive of diving, how do you do that?
You can use a hard drive, but it is not the drive on which the system or the boot is running. If you have a second drive in your system that contains system information or startup, you can use this disk for backups. The wizard backs up (Start / Control Panel / backup and restore) will guide you through the process and provide you with the options you can choose to send the information - which should include this disc hard if it meets the requirements more fully covered in the following article.
Here's a FAQ on the backup and restore that can be useful to some of your questions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Back-up-and-restore-frequently-asked-questions.
Here is an article that describes the process of backup and restore in Vista: http://netsecurity.about.com/od/secureyourwindowspc/ss/vistabackup.htm.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

* Original title: ease of backup Windows 7
I have Windows 7 and I am unable to back up files. The following message appears: "the task image is corrupt or has been tampered with. I used an ERD without result. The application discovers not a problem. At the same time, I received a message that the Bitlocker system files could not be found. I tried Windows 10 briefly then back to Windows 7. That's when I started getting the message image corrupted
Although many people have problems when back to Windows 7 after trying 10 Windows, before you reinstall Windows 7, you can consider the rest of the steps here--> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2305420

How to back up files on USB Express Drive 3.0 w / 16 GB?
Right-click the Start button and click computer.
When the usb flash drive is connected, you will see a removable drive with a drive letter assigned to it, could be D-E-F...
You can paste the folders that you ever want to this list by right-clicking and select Paste,
After a personal folder right click and select copy.
Once your done right click the new device and select eject.
It is best to copy and paste the folders instead of separate index files less and the folder structure is maintained.

How to restore backed up files (not the lightroom catalog) from one external drive to another.
I've recently saved my photo files to one external drive to another. The backup (carbon copy clone) pointed out some files corrupt on the original drive.
I deleted these files and find good copies of Time Machine backups.
I want to get rid of the original external drive; use the recent backup as my main outside and then save it to a new disc.
I'm not sure how everything is point lightroom for backups so he knows look on the new drive instead of the old drive and all points of exclamation and question marks go away.
There are close to 60 000 images in several files with a 'parent folder."
My best guess is Lightroom Help - create and manage folders - locate missing files
Can I point to the folder of one of their parents, and all of the subfolders will return?
This is the process for recovering files in lightroom and there will be a problem with so many photos?

Use Time Machine to back up files in Windows
Can I back up files of the window automatically to the Time Machine in the Mac Help. I want to only backup data from applications.
Thnx.
Time Machine is not 100% reliable in the backup and restore of Virtual Machines and I would never use Time Machine to back up Virtual Machines and would exclude the folder containing my Virtual Machines to be backed up by Time Machine!
That said, if the files in question are outside of the Virtual Machine and inside the OS X Filesystem, for example in your Home folder, then Time Machine will back up what the file system of the host that is not excluded.
