Background color in InDesign CS6 text drop shadow changes

I have two layers, one for a background image that is related with a photoshop document and another layer of text. When I add drop shadow to the text, the background color will kind of dark, and the same thing happens to the overlay, while with 5.5, it has not been that. Is there a way to fix this?

    If you mean that the text seems to disappear, then it seems to be a relatively common problem with CS6 in El Capitan.

    I use CS6 with El Capitan and you encounter this problem sometimes. It happens constantly some days and other days not at all, but I've never established exactly what triggers it.

    As Bob says, CS6 is not supported, so it will not be a solution, but if this is the problem that you are experiencing then tap the display between 'Preview' and 'normal' pressing 'w' will fix it - temporarily.

    I chose an image object to add shadow. Then the shadow also appears on the text and the other place of objects on different layers. They (the other text and objects) are not selected and did not effect that are applied to them.  In the effect controls panel I have off global light - as well. • How to change the background color in photoshop CS6?

    Hello

    I tried to change the background color of Adobe photoshop cs6
    by default, I was on a black background, canany one help me.

    Thanks in advance

    You can use one of the fill methods to change the background color. (SHIFT + F5 is the fill command) The most common method is to use two shades just below the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Take a look at your keyboard to the right of the SPACEBAR are alt modifier two keys option and ctrl or command photo button left to sample on the left and right as the right nuance. Keep this button pressed and at the same time press the back button back. Your document or selection fill with this color swatch. Double click on each sample will bring up the color picker to choose a different color.

    If there are other objects on top of the background, and they are merged with the background, it will be necessary to select the background using the Selection tool in the toolbar before you fill the background with a color.

    I hope this helps, if not post a picture of your screen, then we can see what you're trying to do, and we can then give more advice.

  • Change the background color of a region, I can only change the box with text

    Hello. First of all, sorry for my English.

    I created a new model of the region in my application and I want to change the entire background to silver color.
    After reading the forum, I tried this:

    body = background-color: Silver;

    in "attributes in Table form.

    It works, but only the area with text are silver. I want the entire region with a background silver, (like a scratch on the screen, with black labels).

    My region are copied from the region of breadcrump and there the next CEB code:

    < div class = 'wire of Ariane-region' id = "' #REGION_STATIC_ID # ' #REGION_ATTRIBUTES # > #BODY # < / div >"

    I also tried putting < body bgcolor = "gray" > in several places, but never with the same results.

    Another question. I created a theme in my themes of the workspace to play with it, but... where are the files of ccs? they are not in "/ i/themes"... .and as part of the apex I don't see a way to change the footer, and an other things I want to do.

    Well, I think I have more visual changes now... (God thank you...)

    Good.

    But I want to learn more about the themes...
    I would like to change the theme 4, "Topaz".
    As you say, I created a copy of the file ' i/themes/theme_4"as"i/themes/my_theme_4 ".

    I have said "+ are not... create new files there as these can be changed by future updates APEX. Create your own theme folder. + ", i.e. to use a different physical location, which is referenced by another virtual folder (depending on the architecture of the Web server used).

    Then I created a new theme based on theme4 in my workspace as "my"Topaz". "" My Topaz"" theme is now available in the repository of the theme in "custom themes.
    Now I can change the templates, etc., but the css files what, image files, etc., are My_Topaz to help? Are ¿where?.
    Guess as you say I need to link "" My Topaz"" theme in the my_theme_4 folder, by assigning files in the models of the apex, how can I I do this?

    The definition of header for each page template in the theme contains elements of binding that reference the URL of the CSS as style sheets:

    These must be changed to refer to the new URL CSS files:

    Notice that the page templates use conditional comments to provide additional style sheets with CSS hacks and fixes for broken Microsoft browsers.

    Some other models can also reference image etc. of localities in theme files (although this is less common in the APEX 4.0 + themes).

  • How to reverse the colors on an EPS file with a transparent background in Adobe InDesign CS6?

    Help!

    I am fairly new to InDesign and pretty basic in terms of my knowledge, but surely it can be done right?...

    I have a logo EPS black and white I want to be transparent and white to put on a different colored background? (I also have a JPEG version of the logo too if it makes a difference)?

    You can't - it is better to open the EPS file in its native program (probably Illustrator) and make the changes there and save it as a white version.

    Check the "transparency" when registering.

    Try this

    Click your text box

  • Color in InDesign CS6 profile

    Hello

    How to remove the color profile in InDesign.

    Srinivasan

    InDesign allows you to assign a CMYK and RGB profile to the document. The CMYK profile controls the display and the conversion to CMYK, RGB profile handles display and the conversion of RGB color. You can change the document via Edit profile assignments > assign profile... or you can convert the colors in the document and swatches via Edition > convert to profile... If you use convert color values are modified and the new profile is assigned.

    Edit > assign profile... you can choose to throw (use a current workspace). In this case the document doesn't have a profile and the color will be displayed by any other profile happens to be set as the workspace.

  • Background color for the calculated text field

    Hello

    I have a text field which is calculated according to a formula that shows "RED" "GREEN" or "YELLOW".  I would like the field to automatically color itself based on such calculation.

    I tried to enter the following formula in the output * (JavaScript) events, but because the user is not really striking in the field, it will not work and the field remains white:

    VNAME var = this.somExpression;

    var fieldObj = xfa.resolveNode (VNAME + "#textEdit.border.fill.color .ui.");

    If (this.rawValue == "GREEN") {}

    fieldObj.value = "0,255,0;

    }

    ElseIf (this.rawValue == 'RED') {}

    fieldObj.value = "255,0,0";

    }

    ElseIf (this.rawValue == "YELLOW") {}

    fieldObj.value = "255,255,0;

    }

    else {}

    fieldObj.value = "255,255,255";

    }

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    ~ Lisa

    Lisa,

    The code is supposed to be placed in the calculate event and not on the Exit event. Given that this field is read only the user never enters whatever it is in the field then the Exit event is meaningless.

    Here is the improved version of the calculate event code...

    Change the scripting language Java script and paste the code below into the event to Calculate the global field (RedYellowGreen1).

    Var score = TotalScore.rawValue;
    strColor var = "";

    If (Score == 0 |) Score == 1 | Score == 2)
    strColor = "GREEN";
    If (Score == 3 |) Score == 4 | Score == 5 | Score == 6 | Score == 7 | Score == 8 | Score == 9 | Score == 10 | Score == 11 | Score == 12 | Score is 13)
    strColor = 'YELLOW ';
    if(score>=14)
    strColor = "RED";

    Switch (strColor) {}
    case "GREEN":
    This.Border.Fill.Color.Value = "0,255,0;
    break;
    case "RED":
    This.Border.Fill.Color.Value = "255,0,0";
    break;
    case "YELLOW":
    This.Border.Fill.Color.Value = "255,255,0;
    break;
    }

    this.rawValue = strColor;

    Thank you

  • Lack of Pantone colors in Indesign CS6

    Pantone + bridge or Pantone color + solid using some colors seem to be missing or out of sequence. For example, when you type in Pantone 585 it by default 5855. Adobe suggests the downgrading of a previous book of color (but warn the colors will be not accurate on all software) - ideas?

    In ID, type 585 and press the space bar. Should work.
