  I had a similar problem with Vista (64-bit edition complete edition) machine. I run automatic backups for more than a year. Suddenly, backups started fail with the following error code:

  "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable 0 x 80070570.

  I thought it would be my external drive - so I tried an another one - same error. After a search of different topics around, I tried various fixes (similar to above), but none of them worked.

  I managed to find the problem though. The issue is not with the drive being written - it's the current backup disc that is the problem. If you want to save your primary drive (C:, for example), try to perform a check of the errors on this drive (right click on your drive home, you are trying to save, choose 'Properties' then go to 'tools' - click 'Check now' under the control of errors - and check both boxes). Since this is the current drive, you must stop and restart - the system then automatically checks the system files and windows files on the next boot.

  After doing this, my problem cleared up. Apparently, the backup software was crashing trying to read a corrupted file or a sector of the hard disk, that he was backing.

  Synchronize the iTunes app.  You may need to remove the application on the device first otherwise iTunes may think it's already there.  If it is a current application, you can also re - download it directly from the iTunes Store with your device via iCloud.

  There are 3rd party apps that can copy your text messages on your computer, but I'm not aware of anything that can copy them to your computer in the form of text messages, only as PDFs. TouchCopy is a good thing for Windows and Mac.

  On the problem of backup, there are a number of things to try:

  • Delete all current backups using iTunes preferences, Devices tab
  • If you have all the apps that have corrupted in their database data, this can prevent a backup completed
  • If your phone is jailbroken, what can prevent backup
  • If you have already installed an application that was not in the App Store that can prevent a backup. This includes enterprise applications, as well as the apps that you found on the internet that are not in the app store. (Same reason that the 2nd chip; apps should follow the Apple standard for data storage).

  Hi if you want to take a backup of the file, its better to stop essbase and then take backup i/o.

  in this case, the steps are as follows:

  opening of session
  Disable the user connections
  disconnect all users
  start the order archive
  export data from entry
  order to archive end
  unload the application
  Shell copy all requirements of otl, db files etc.
  Shutdown essbase
  Security shell files copy essbase (.sec, .bak, .bak_startup)
  Start essbase
  application of load

  and I m in particular do not know why you were reset the database and reloading data.

  First of all, you can easily downgrade the Satellite A200 Windows XP.
  You need an original CD of Win XP and all the Toshiba XP compatible drivers can be downloaded from the page of Toshiba Europe.

  I have a similar model, and I was able to install XP and use two operating systems; Vista and XP.

  I think you can also use a Symantec Norton Ghost to secure the HARD disk and to create backups.

  Its now 2 days later and decided to restore System Mechanic registry change and now find the Back up and restore works again!

  What are the support options for the SYNCHRONIZATION to and from your PC <> Z10, not for backup.

  Your backup, link, click the upper right gear or parameters.

  You will then see the backup options.

  If the database file is located in a virtual machine, you can do a file-level restore.  If you backed up the database using MSSQL agent you must restore the backup of a database.

I understand that in creating this backup everything on the flash drive is deleted before creating backup.   I keep as a backup to dedicated recovery flash drive and use one for drivers & applications.

  It is always wise to keep the recovery discs, as well as the recovery disks. Flash memory is quite inexpensive for the moment!

  There are different ways to save the date of the android device.
  You can use some 3rd party backup applications (check the Google game store for available applications), or you can use the internal Android option to save the data, application, Wifi passwords and other settings to google's servers.

  This option can be found in Apps App-> settings-> & backup restore

  I see that I can drag and drop files in iCloud.  I need a way to copy entire folders as a backup device.

  Use an external hard drive and a backup application as Time Machine that comes with every Mac.  All icloud options for synchronization of files between devices using the same Apple ID and iCloud.  They are not designed for storage of Mac.

  I the iCloud features are all changes made on a device reflects on all the devices connected to the same ID.

  Apple gives you a way to backup apps, music, photos to iCloud, but it is not very clear for the procedure restore an application since the last backup. You can restore the entire backup to a clean iPad, but can't find a procedure or an app to help give visibility to backup content to restore the only backup application. Any ideas?

  BTW, apps are never saved, only data apps.
