Backup of media card

Hello.  I was wondering if someone can explain how to back up or unload my card holders using prelude.  I want to ensure verification that happened, but there is nothing that tells me if the MD5 comparison was made,

Thank you!

Hi Dan Rourke,.

Thanks for the question. Prelude check comparison MD5 for each file ingested.

Open the cover of the events in the window--> events. You should see a message from check for each file that is ingested.

In fact, there are 3 ways with which one can do the checking of the files transferred; MD5, file size and Bit by bit comparison.

Learn more about this here:

I hope it helps.

Thank you

The media card is reserved for 'media'... as you say. Photos, videos, music, files/documents.

You do not want to move your contacts to your SIM card, because the SIM card is designed to contain only a single name/one number and no email address, nothing else. Instead, make a backup of your old device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then restore this backup on your new device, if you had done a previous backup.

Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the old device? If Yes, when you sign in to your BlackBerryID for the new device, you can use your BlackBerry Protect data to restore on the new device.

  • BlackBerry smartphones recover memory after you have moved the files in Media card

I inadvertently saved photos and videos to the device memory.  When I discovered this I moved the files on the media card, but the space in the memory of the device was not released, although the image and folders in video memory show no file.  All solutions?   I am running OS 5.

"Memory" is basically a multimedia card shipped.  It is memory separate from your "Application memory".

I just want to perform a full backup of the device with Desktop Manager.  Wipe the device in the Options > Security Options > Security wipe.  Then restore the backup.  That will probably bring your memory asks how far it was.

I hope someone can help me. My bold 9780 sporadically does not recognize my press card. Sometimes, it works. Sometimes it doesn't! I almost tried everything. Battery pull, last updated, even changed the card reader. I'm out of ideas. Someone has the same problem but could solve it? Hope so!
And sorry for my bad English (no native speaker).

  • Things of blackBerry Smartphones and Media Card storage device

    Hello.

The bottom of the problem I encountered is my computer only detect media card but not the storage device when I connected the device to the CPU by using the USB cable. What should I do? My media card has been dismantled, and I have some files in the storage of the device I want to move to the computer.

I don't think that the 9105 support internal memory. That means whatever it be saved would be saved in the database 'content store. You would need to make a backup of the device and restore this database to another device of BB in order to obtain these data.

Have you caught and released to the media card?

If it continues, you should consider your media card to backup on your PC and then using the format card feature in your BlackBerry to reformat the media card.

    Hello

    1. which card Media do you use?

    2. you receive an error during formatting?

    3. What is the brand of the Media card?

    4. were there any changes made to your computer before this problem?

I suggest you try the methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

    Management of disk access by

By clicking Start (orb)> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> computer management>disk management. Disk management should list drives/cards connected to the system and also to show what type of file system they are and whether they are healthy or not. I would just reformat the card, do not change the type (example: FAT, FAT32, or NTFS) file format for doing so, your camera or device may not recognize.

    Hope this information is useful.

I use a Canon DSLR and can not get the computer to recognize the card media. It also won't recognize the camera directly? Any suggestions?

    Hello

    ·         The computer is able to recognize the device or media card earlier?

    ·         Was there any recent changes to the computer?

    ·         What happens when you connect the device to the computer (done the camera upward show in Windows Explorer)?

Try connecting to a different computer and check if that is recognized.

    Hello

Can you confirm if a Multi Media Card must be compatible with my laptop. I have a 1 G MMC card which is not recognized by the laptop, while a 32G SDHC card works as expected. I downloaded and installed the driver package sp69617 and it made no difference.

I suspect that it is not compatible with the laptop but confirmation would be appreciated.

  • Media card reader problem

The green light on my media player is constantly on, because he thinks that there is a card in there. It is causing all sorts of problems with my PC. I did search back issues with media card on the forum readers to find a solution. The closest solution to you, that I could find is below.

The solution to the issue I found suggested that uninstall all the different reading devices and restart. Someone at - it any other suggestions on how I should approach this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Thank you for your response. Sorry for the lack of information in my post. In fact, I have corrected the issue last night. What I did get another sd card and insert that into the card reader. Then, I went through Explorer and clicked on, safely remove and it worked. I think that the problem could be with the previous card is not removed correctly, or that the other card was causing problems for some reason any.

    Thanks again for your help,

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10, cancel the media card write protection

I want to transfer media card data from a 1 GB SD to SD 4 GB PC card, means: first copy the data from the card of 1 GB to the computer and then transfer to the 4 GB card. Is not possible because there is writing on data protection.

    How can I undo that?

    Hello

Thank you for taking your time to answer! Yes I can copy to a folder on the pc, and after carefully checking the adapter (micro sd to sd card), I discovered that the small slide switch on the side of the dial-up adapter against his will in the "locked" position, while sliding into the laptop. With a bit of sensitivity, I finally got it. Problem is solved!

  • BlackBerry 10 how to change the device app to the media card.

In my mob applications are stored in the phone memory. I want to change certain media card storage applications. How I can change. Help, please

Move the apps (probably slower) SD card will not help with the speed in my humble OPINION. Go on BB monitoring app and select CPU usage history (try 48 hours) and send an average use of the processor on your phone here.
