backup of the old system changed the type of operating system installation

After backup all data to your desktop at home and move the backup file on the replacement computer that was running and had been activated, got backup and ran into problems.  The original pc was an OEM system with a valid OEM key and had been activated for years.  The new system is a renewed system which has an apparently valid cd and COA 'For refurbished computers' active fine and had been restarted several times after activation before the fiasco of the backup.

After that I ran the backup recovery, system was restarted as planned, but when the time came to connect to windows, we encountered a problem of activation.  He said that the system should be activated.  I went ahead and put in the key that is attached to the system (the key for PC) refurbished, but he would go through.  I checked that I read the key from the sticker correctly several times and by two other people.  He would not suffer.  Just on a chance that the backup of the old system caused a little problem, I tried the OEM key that was on the original system.  He's been through.

If the old system should simply be scrapped, I don't think anything, but it will be either made to disadvantaged youth, so I want to make sure that everything is always good about it and it is all above board.  In its current form of the key is now on two different systems.  What can I do to fix this?

Hello

I suggest you to download the tool to update product key on your system and then update the product key and check. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

Update your Windows product key

Is something like this in Goldengate?

Hi, I found the answer in MOS!

How to maintain created date and update date for a record using Oracle GoldenGate (Doc ID 1450299.1)

    of note:

    ogg_create_date = @IF (@STREQ (@GETENV ('GGHEADER', "OPTYPE"), "INSERT"), @DATENOW (), @COLSTAT (MISSING)).

    ogg_update_date = @IF (@VALONEOF (@GETENV ('GGHEADER', "OPTYPE"), "UPDATE", "SQL COMPUPDATE", "PK UPDATE"), @DATENOW (), @COLSTAT (MISSING)));

So I have to use the GGHEADER option of @GETENV to return information from the header of a file of trail Oracle GoldenGate portion. The header describes the registration transaction environment. OPTYPE returns the type of operation.

Create Date would be OPTYPE = INSERT

    and

Date of update would be OPTYPE = UPDATE, SQL COMPUPDATE or PK.

Possible results for OPTYPE are INSERT UPDATE DELETE ENSCRIBE COMPUPDATE SQL COMPUPDATE UPDATE & TRUNCATE

I used my iMac as a hard drive backup to my macbook once. Now when I update to El Capitan he says that it cannot be updated due to being of a backup. How do I change the drive mode so I can update?

If you use your iMac as a backup to disk using Time Machine look for a folder called Backups.backupdb.

It's what keeps you upgraded your operating system, you must remove it.

Copy everything first if you are on a different drive. It would be wise to create a backup of the iMac on another drive also.

Check system preferences > Time Machine and make sure that the iMac is not selected as the Time Machine drive.

    Hello

There are different ways to save the date of the android device.
You can use some 3rd party backup applications (check the Google game store for available applications), or you can use the internal Android option to save the data, application, Wifi passwords and other settings to google's servers.

This option can be found in Apps App-> settings-> & backup restore

  • Cannot change the type of administrator account during an administrator account

Hello I seem to be stuck with the normal start safe mode and tried several things without success.
So far I used Safeboot/restart and restart with normal startup and "clean boot" method of
following the suggestions on the Microsoft Web site. Also reset all services by default. Whenever I try to start a service, it gives me the error 1084: Windows could not start the Windows Service on Local computer error 1084: this service cannot be started mode without failure or error 1068 "the dependency Service or group could start. Only some of the services have actually begun. Also, I can't in some documents and files, such as Documents and Settings and Config.Msi. With the error "there is no location (path) is not accessible"access denied" Almost all set so that it starts in the service is stopped and does not let me start with the same 2 errors. I tried to use the Windows Defender update option after the beginning of his service and I come with error found: Code 0x8007043c. I went to check if I had administrative rights by setting account type for my account current (user) who says it's an administrator account already, but he said that it is standard. When I try to switch to administrator it just combines the button "change account Type". At this point I don't know what to do besides restore my registry. I can provide a few previous actions if you need. I don't think I'm going to tinker with things more far away, however, in fear of complicating it. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't give me the option to the Windows recovery environment in the startup options (F8), although it could be F2 or F12, I noticed for another set of options to start the computer (Windows Vista Ultimate). Furthermore, after being not able to use the WIndows recovery environment, I just went ahead and used Directory Services Restore Mode. After doing this I used the system restore and restored to the last point that he had saved and it solved the problem - once he had fixed services. I want to note also that, File Checker (SFC.exe) system, fixed a problem I was experiencing a lot more before with my computer takes about 3 minutes to start. Now it is lightning fast. Thanks for the help, and I hope this helps others who have the same problem (s).

Note: Guest account cannot be defined as administrative account. There the option only to turn on or off.

If there is an another account on your computer, and then log on to the administrative account and then try to change the account type.

  • Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 80070003))

I had to uninstall iTunes a few months ago and successfully re-installed, but part of my music was missing.   At one point, following the instructions on a thread on the forums Apple or Microsoft, I saved my music library on the desktop. Since then, I do not have a library of music on the desktop file.  In my looooooong hours trying to fix things, I do not know if I deleted it or what.

    Now, I get the message:

"Backup has encountered a problem during backup of the C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop\music file. Error: (System does not find the specified path. (0 x 8007003)) "whenever I have backup my computer.

As I understand it, that does not affect really any other files, they rely on the spot (I think), but

HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS MESSAGE? or what is the cause?  Of course, I could use help in simple English, step by step, as I'm not very techno...

    Thank you!!!

    Try to be...

    SereneJulie

    Hi serene,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

As indicated by the error, this problem appears, when these files/libraries that are saved automatically are not present on your computer. I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it can help solve the problem.

    • Create missing files that are listed in the error message.
    • Exclude files from the files to backup in the backup settings and then include these files in their original location. To exclude folders in other communities and to include these files in the original location, follow these steps:
      1. In Control Panel, open backup and restore.
      2. In the section back up , click change settings.
      3. In the dialog box Configure the backup , click Next.
      4. In the dialog box that you want to save , click Let me choose, and then click Next.
      5. Expand data files, library, expand additional locations, and then click to clear the check boxes folder AppData, Contactsand Research .
      6. Expand computers, expand the element of your system drive (for example, expand Local disk (c)), expand users, , and then click to select the checkboxes AppData, Contactsand Research if they exist.
      7. Click Next, and then click Save settings and exit.
      8. Backup and restore, click back up now to perform a new backup. The backup operation must complete without errors.

If the problem persists, I suggest you follow the steps in the following article for troubleshooting backup problems.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

These problems occur because the folders or libraries that you are trying to back up or restore include a reparse point. Analytical points are similar to shortcuts Windows or Unix symbolic links. A point of analysis can be used to point to a file that is moved temporarily to a different drive.

  • I can not change the type of standard user to the admin account.

I had a very difficult time, adding new accounts to the system.  Now that I have, I can not change the type of standard user to the admin account.

As you don't declare that you tried, I am unable to say where you went wrong. Here is a method to promote the accounts without going through the various GUI screens:
1 restart in SafeMode with network.
    2. log on as an administrator.
    3. click on start.
    4. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
    5. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
    6. click on "run as Administrator".
    7. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
    NET user
(This will show you all existing accounts)
    net localgroup administrators 'xxxx '.
(This will encourage user xxxx to Administrator status. Replace xxxx with the correct name account).

Please note that windows 8 pro had cleaned originally had windows Vista, even I did find something on the error code: error: (the system cannot find the specified file. (0 x 80070002))

    Hey Amer,

You can ignore this error message. You would usually encounter this problem if the Windows Backup tries to back up files in folders LocalLow, Contacts and research and these files are not present on your computer.

Well, you also have an option to create or exclude files missing, listed in the error message.

If you want to exclude this folder then please refer to the following steps.

    (a) in the backup section, click on "change settings".

    (b) in the dialog box Configure the backup , click Next.

    (c) in the 'you want to save ' dialog box, click on 'Let me choose ', then click on 'Next '.

    (d) navigate to the user profile folder displayed in the error message and clear the check box next to the folders.

    (e) save and exit.

    Hope the helps of information.
