  The file that TVALZ_O seems to be linked to Toshiba ACPI and it seems THAT BIOS should be updated.

  Since you are facing many problems after the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, it seems you may need to check the latest updates of the Toshiba BIOS.

  Important: Change the BIOS (Basic input output system) / Semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

If you have a PC brand name go to the web page of manufacturers with the model number of the PC and download the latest driver, with a desktop PC generic, you should have a CD - if the graphics are on board, you may be able to see the chipset or you can use the model number of the motherboard to identify it - if it's a card I/o of the brand and the model should be visible on it, then go to makers web page and download the driver.

• 7640G / 8670M Dual AMD graphics - missing dedicated card.

  I bought HP Pavilion 17 e121eo and there no dedicated graphics card, showing in a bios or Device Manager.

  1. I tried updating to the latest version of the bios: nothing has changed.

  2 downloaded all the drivers from hp for the graphics card support page: nothing has changed.

  3 restore the system at the factory, using hp recovery: nothing.

  4 changed for maximum performance in the Catalyst center and windows power settings 8.

  I tried to play a few games to test too, but as it seems, to use only 7640g, most of the games work best on laptop 3 years older.

  I'm starting to believe there is a typing error in the product detail page and Infact that this laptop has only the integrated chip of piss poor 7640g running.

  Turns out that my laptop had badly listed card, my laptop didn't 7640g. No double graphics either.

  I recommend that stick you with the video cards listed as supported for your Elite SFF-8200.

  240W power supply does not manage much more.

  Supported video cards are listed on the link below on page 14.

I contacted the seller who said that the video card has been tested prior to shipment and that it may be a compatibility issue with my PC. I know that this graphics card has a PCI Express 3.0 interface 16 x so that my PC has a PCI Express 2.0, but I don't think that this could be a problem.

  @Astyx, welcome to the forum.

  You are right that the PCIe 3.0 is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0.  However, your problem is the motherboard.  The Radeon card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a Legacy BIOS. The BIOS may not be walking in the UEFI.  PCIe 3.0 cards requiring UEFI will not work in any other location.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The latest maps to exploit without UEFI are the GTX 660/670.

  Well, I thought about it. While I had ordered another HD6450 (which is the same card in my living room computer), a new one was a Sapphire card vs an Asus card in my living room computer.

  Of course, he had more power that the DC7900 and DC7800 could provide with their 240W PSU, however the Asus we had no problem. Crazy!

  In any case, to put the new card in my desktop (500W PSU) and it worked fine, then took the HD5450 (Sapphire) who was there and put it in my new DC7900. Sorted!
