  The file that TVALZ_O seems to be linked to Toshiba ACPI and it seems THAT BIOS should be updated.

  Since you are facing many problems after the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, it seems you may need to check the latest updates of the Toshiba BIOS.

  Important: Change the BIOS (Basic input output system) / Semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

I got an estimate of $643,00 for the repair, which I can't do right now. I heard that you can connect a second monitor to the Mac if you want to run two monitors at the same time. My question is, if I can buy the correct cable to connect another monitor and use this monitor as my primary monitor until I can afford the repair, or the graphics card in the Mac should it be good to run the second monitor?   The graphics card must be in good shape to run an external display. Once you have the repair done, then you can connect an external monitor.

  I think you mean that the Display Mode target and any connection to the screen will have to pass by the graphics card. Whereas if you replace the bad graphics card, don't.

  I run really low power these games to minecraft at 24 frames per second. And garrysmod at about 20 frames per second. My old laptop was 4 x less power than my current, but played games at about 40 fps.
  
  I tried updating the drivers, but it has not changed.

  The part number, the other Member has suggested is for a complete motherboard. If your laptop is brand new that will likely violate the warranty. You really want to go this route?

  If you feel that is worth the upgrade of the motherboard and the video, then you would be better to return the laptop. Buy one that has the features you want rather than take the risk of damaging the laptop during disassembly and reassembly.

  I always use a p6310y HP desktop that I bought several years ago, and it is almost perfect for what I need to do about it.  However, I started to do a little game with World of Tanks being the choice right now.   I've updated the graphics card integrated with a XFX ATI Raedon 4350, but I was wondering if there was a better choice.  I am limited to a power of 300 watts, 2.0 PCI and a location map simple (I think that's true because of the implementation of capacitor next to the PCI slot).   Any thoughts appreciated!  Thank you!

  EDIT: After reading of Big_Dave graphics card post, I think I need to add a couple things.  I use Win7 with no upgrade plan to Win8 and drive two monitors (HP 2310 m) of a card.   I run them in 1920 x 1080.

  Please see this document for publication.  Measure carefully and look for obstructions.  I don't see that the capacitors are a problem because they are below the height of the PCI-E slots.  If necessary, turn off the PC and unplug it.  Then take a right edge plastic ruler and hold it flat on the top of the PCI-E x 16 slot and turn slightly to determine if you will have problems with customs clearance.

  If you are on subscription, you just install it on your new computer and sign in with your ID Adobe that you used to buy PS when you arrive up to two installs, it will tell you that you have exceeded you install limit and asks if you want to disconnect other computers. Just so disconnect you. No need to have to disable or call Adobe!

  However, I recommend you to repeat the solution posted in Toshiba document.
  First uninstall the driver from Device Manager graphics card.
  Download the latest version (according to the system of windows), and then install again.

  My laptop froze on a white screen. When you restart it first displays a black background with a light concentration of shaded blocks of blue and white strips vetically towards the bottom of the screen - a game of tetris.

I tried to check the BIOS but all displayed in the colored squares tetris makes it difficult to see what to do. I upgraded BIOS v3.40 to v3.90 successfully but no change to display. I ran the diagnostics and the graphics card has failed.

  To be honest it s really strange to say something if you n t post your exact model laptop

  But normally if an external monitor displays the same image, it means that the internal screen is ok and the problem is caused by the graphics card and it must be replaced or with other words the card mother together.

  If you need to contact an authorized service provider. Guys can order a new mother card and replace it for you. :)
