  I got a response that HP doesn't provide drivers for Windows 10 for your model and your only option is Microsoft/Windows Update/Device Manager for drivers for devices - as mentioned above.

  Many machines now do not have optical drive (CD/DVD drive) because sellers want to save a few hundred grams (that's why they call saving weight or similar terms).   You say that read you data from a file. When you save the file, you have "precede size of table or string" Boolean true (which is the default value)? Try this setting to false.
