Bad project settings

I used the same camera and the same settings for all my videos so I look even because they always get what they were previously. For some reason, my current project was created with the wrong project settings. I did not notice for some time and once I did, I don't think it would cause many problems. Now, my video is completely but I have problems placing the logo of our company. Once I have record the video on that it's too far to the right and some of the image both sides are cut. I have a ton of effects and titles, I really want to start over from square one, is possible to start a new project and copy this info? I tried to copy and paste, but that did nothing. I don't know why I don't have the pop up message when I placed the first clip in the timeline panel. First tells you if you have the wrong project settings and it gives you the opportunity to fix it. I don't see why I can't go and change once the project is created if first can change automatically. Uggh, I don't know what to do.

The ClipMate ($35) Clipboard Manager can do. In the past, there are positions where people hacked the file .prel with varying degrees of success.

See you soon,.

  • Pe11 - do not change the project settings based on the video source

I keep the light in various places PE11 should read my video source and change the project settings for the game when I place it in the timeline in Expert mode, but I don't see any indication that this is happening. No matter what kind of video, I add, the editing mode (and other settings) in the settings of the project remains the same.

I'm working with older clips (smaller than 720 x 480, 25 fps), and none of the presets project apply.

What if the project setting does not match what I'm getting? Or it is made irrelevant by the publication settings I use (assuming I choose good here)?

    Thank you

    Dave

As you have seen, WMVs will not change your project settings. In fact, I'd like to discourage you by their use as source files.

WMVs are a good video source you change in Windows MovieMaker - but they make for a source file bad enough for virtually any other video editing software.

  • iMovie Project Settings

It seems that changing the settings of project in iMovie (10.1.2) is no longer possible. I have not tried to do so within a certain time. But each project is about to 720 p 60 unless I drop something of better quality. I have a lot of old stuff that is of poor quality, and not taking into account the project settings to match the lower resolution and cadence. Does anyone have a solution for this?

iMovie sets the frequency of images and based on the first clip that you insert in the draft resolution.  When you share the project, you can select your settings

for the quality and options of the resolution in the sharing menu box that appears.

  • Black borders around the video exported, even if the project settings correspond to properties file? -First Elements 13

I was editing a video with premiere elements 13 and everything seems as it should be in the in the software overview screen, but whenever I have the export, apparently regardless of the format, he adds black borders to the video on all four sides. The only solution that I could find online was of course project settings correspond to properties of video file imported, they do what I know. Any ideas on how to fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Output parameters you use have the appearance of the DV/big screen value.

Don't know how much difference it will make, but try to 1.0 square Pixels.

Or better yet, try to publish & share/computer/AVCHD with the preset for YouTube HD.

  • How to change the project settings

I support the Prime Minister and a video that is 720 x 300

It shows in the project than 640 x 480 and it publishes with thick black lines

I open the project settings - I can see the settings but I can't change these sizes?

    very frustrating :-(

The Prime Minister can load videos of different sizes? I want to believe but maybe not in elements

    retterr

    Thanks for the update.

We are both on the same line on dealing with what you think to be a 640 x 360, 16:9, and to do so in a Premiere Elements project without the consequences of black borders.

However, details to sort out when you tell me that you get huge black borders when you import this file to 16:9 in a 16:9 project.

If you set the project preset manually, have you thought about putting a check mark next to the "Force selected setting on this project' in the new project dialog box? Did you follow the path...

    • Open the project in the workspace Expert and go to file menu/new project and change the settings.
    • In the settings, set the project preset to match the properties of the source media. OK to get out of there.
    • In the dialog box new project opens, rename the project and make sure you have a checkmark next to the "Force selected setting on this project." OK to get out of there.
    • In the Expert workspace, import your media source by using Add Media / choice.

Excuse the request, but not to take anything acquired to speed things up, have you confirmed your 640 x 360, 16:9 for this particular import with program outside of Premiere Elements?

Please read the above, and then we will try to determine what happens with this file.

    Thank you.

  • project settings for an old video PE10 passed to 1080i 1080 p by ss14 upgrade how to fix?

    Hello

Today, I tried to resurrect a video that I have almost completed a year or two ago. Only a few pieces were left to do, but waiting for a single element of a 3rd party (a logo) meant that he got unfinished at that time. Initially, I used 10 elements and parameters of the project were 1080 p/25 fps.

Since then, I've updated my graphics card. Pe10 will be no longer work with this card (PE10 is too old to understand the map I think) so finally got upgrade to ss14 having had a bit of respite from the edition since the evolution of this card and PE10 has stopped working.

Project say 1080i settings (which I have never used - I shoot a SLR!) and it appears so there is no way to change this without redo any changes in a new project...!

I tried to do, but create a new project with fps 1080p25 settings, I noticed a 2nd number. Try to place the 2nd clip on 6s20frames in the project turned into 7s0frames. That is to say the timecode had begun to count to 20 fps not 25 frames per second!

I really don't understand what is causing ss14 causes these hassle with images/changes that worked wonderfully in PE10. But for the moment it seems unusable

    Can someone help me

    (a) change the project settings back to 1080 p/25 fps on the original project? (really the most important thing - although I suspect that the answers don't)

    (b) offers clues why a project which runs at 25 fps stupid plays * with time code and how to change it so that it displays the correct value of 25 fps?

Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the reply and happy you have managed to create a scenario where the final result was acceptable.

Here is an assortment of information you put together impact the kind of thing you are trying to do.

    1. first installation items included 10 a dialogue so that the user could designate TV NTSC or PAL TV profile. After installation, configure your respectively have the default the Standard NTSC or PAL DV Standard DV project preset. Unless you have changed this setting in the new project dialog box, when you open a project, it would be your project setting if it was OK for your video. In some versions, the project could send a message to want to change it to you with an answer Yes or no to you.

    2. you can't change the preset project when it was established. If the project preset is incorrect for the imported video, you start a new project.

(but, in certain circumstances, there is a way to change the project first Elements 10 settings by editing the document in Notepad of the saved closed project - but that's another story).

    3. When you get to first items 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 and 14, other factors enter the picture. Programs are designed so that the the project preset is set automatically based on his analysis of the first file dragged to the timeline of this new project. If the project cannot analyze the video, the project does not give you the closest possible project settings. Instead it gives you, it by default which is HD1080i30 full of AVCHD NTSC or PAL AVCHD Full HD 1080i25. You don't see a new project dialog box, unless you decide to upgrade the predefined project manually via the file Menu/New/Project.

    4. and, to add to all of this, even if you're in a PAL area and despite your installation for the country and language settings, always have the default value of NTSC AVCHD Full HD 1080i30.

But, in your case, we are not talking about setting up a project, it is a project of opening a version earlier than the last.

Of immediate relevance for you now is transfer of project and its media to source from one computer to the other. When you import media into a project, all you get are copies of the originals who remain in their drive hard saving location. But copies of the project must go back to the original to the place where they were when they were first imported in the project. That's when the option to Menu file/archive/copy the project shines to give you a folder that contains the project file and all his possessions. This file can be transferred to a USB key for the folder on the computer 2. Another "Beware of '... If you store the source on an external drive support and move the hard disk from one computer to another, make sure that the drive letter of the external hard drive is the same on both computers.

    Please consider.

Best wishes with your Premiere Elements project.

  • Project settings

Hi, project settings affect the application even after that the binary is downloaded to iTunes? Can I make an App of law without downloading a new version?

    Thank you!

    Jeff

Thanks for the additional details about your question & scenario.

While in the classic DPS product subscription ID and Direct right Integrator were cooked in the binary app - this is no longer the case in the new 2015 DPS. We moved these elements to be server-side that you saw in the sectors of products & subscriptions and a DPS parameters of the project portal.

You can build & submit your application with in-app purchases. Later, when you want to activate the Direct payment, you can turn on the feature and enter the necessary data (Integrator ID, Bundle ID, create account forgotten password URL and URL) on the portal of DPS, project settings > right Direct (tab).

You have no need to rebuild your application or submit again to allow the Direct payment.

Hi, I want to export my movie on DVD clips, burning them like AVCHD, movies are made on the basis of an iphone 6 1080 p 60. I want to keep the best possible quality. Can someone tell me what that best project settings I should use? Thank you very much.

    Johnny

Thanks for the reply to my comments to complete Responses to your subject.

    Factors in your planning...

First elements 13/13.1 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS 10.7.

First items 10, 11 or 12/12.1 on a Windows computer is 64-bit application when it is run on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit computer. Otherwise, it's a 32-bit application. This has implications on important it resources, particularly for your biggest projects in Premiere Elements.

Video mobile phone registered with a variable rate is a consideration for any version of Premiere Elements. If your cell phone video shows with audio out of sync and you use the hand brake to correct this condition, you should get good quality of the handbrake H.264.mp4 (just make sure that the export rate is comparable to that of the original in addition to changing the frequency of images to a number (use same as source) and selecting constant for this frame rate).

If any clarification on the above, do not hesitate to ask.

    Thank you.

  • Project settings does not save

I need to change and save my project settings for the drive I want to use whenever I open the first.  I target my audio and video excerpts on my drive faster.  However whenever I open a project preview destinations is returned to a default destination.  I trashed the preferences file thought that might be the problem but I don't know what else I could do to get the parameters I put remain where I put them?

    Hello Mcnallyj,

We are aware of this problem and meet you, and it should be addressed in the next version 8.1.

The current workaround is to set the custom location when you first create the project, the custom path is known.

  • The project settings, mixed images downloads and youtube

I have a project that I shot mostly with a T4i in 60 fps, as well as some footage of a Canon XA10 in 30 p AVCHD.  When I do the first clip, first recognizes the images a bit and apply a preset.  I don't know what project settings to edit in - first call 60 p from my Canon t4i AVCHD 720 p images.  When I go to this download on youtube, my glidecam footage seems ugly, fragile, and it is not.  Images from the XA10 looks pretty good.  I tried a variety of download options, including hd for youtube, flash video and even registered as an mpeg and downloaded directly from youtube.  Same results.  When the project settings have been updated with the Xa10 of images and sequences t4i was made, it seemed horribly pixely.  I need these shots glidecam to air well and I wonder what I have to do.  I don't want to change this thing down and having to do it again.  I can't change the settings of the project once I started.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  This video will be eventually linked or placed on a Web site.

    That's the plan...

    1. open the first Elements 11 in his workspace Expert.

    2. go in the file Menu/new/project and change the settings.

    3. in the box change the settings, change the preset project:

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    Digital SLR [email protected]

Before leaving this area, in the new project with your digital SLR camera setting dialog, make sure that you have a checkbox next to

'' Force selected parameter of the project on this project. '' Close to there.

    4. in a matter of work elements 11 Expert, use Add Media/files and folders / to your 1080 p 30 and then your 720 p 60 in project

Assets where do you drag the video 1 track.

What looks like when seen on the content playback timeline in the monitor area to change the rendered content of chronology.

What it looks like here, make your decision on how quality export plays in your computer drive.

    5. When you get to export...

    Publish + share

    Computer

    AVCHD

    with Presets = MP4 - H.264 1920 x 1080 p 30

(What is the estimated file size and duration)

    7. download the AVCHD.mp4 file export on YouTube on the web site of YouTube if you have an account there that will allow you the size of the file and the length of the file downloaded.

Have you done everything above before. It should give you good results.

Please let us know the result.

    Thank you.

  • How can I fix the gap between the default project settings and the music video

I'm building a DVD in yet CS6, and some of the images you want to fragile/wobbly preview and after that I have burn to disc.  I think it's because the images were shot at 24 fps, progressive and native transcoding for standard def DVD settings are 30 frames per second, interlaced scanning speed.

I could not change the default conversion settings, and research online, I did, it seems that those who are set in stone. I was able to modify the project settings to export a lot of my images, but it did not help the problem. Nor do transcoding the video clip.

The project was originally shot on two cameras - a Canon 5 d Mark iii and a Panasonic GH2. Images of Canon has no problem. Only the GH2 images seems wobbly preview and make. I edited the video file in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and then exported to MPEG to DVD at 24 p, set NTSC high quality large screen. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    There is your problem.

  • Confused about my project settings - can someone advise?

I have some excerpts from my child when she was very small (I have provided a sample at the bottom). I want to do a project with them in first Elements 10.

I tried to use Premiere Elements project settings Advisor ' auto (IE placed the 1st clip of the new project on the timeline, so it can notify whether or not project settings are correct), but no matter what I use the project settings intial Premiere Elements does not have auto corrected parameters. So, I used 3 análisis programs of different media to tell me what are the properties my videos and they say all different things:

    (1) Media info says: AVI (Mjpeg) 720 x 480 30 fps NTSC interlaced (3:2).

    (2) MovieScanner said: AVI (Mjpeg) 720 x 480 (4:3), 480 p (progressive).

    (3) MediaTab said: AVI (Mjpeg) 720 x 480 30 fps (3:2), progressive NTSC.

So I think I can say the clips are AVI (motion Jpeg), but are they interlaced or progressive (it is important for me to get this right when choosing project obviouisly settings)? I don't know what that format of pixels and everything would be like that is getting too advanced for me.

MJPEG can even be interlaced? Surely if there are a lot of JPEG files, put in place to make a moving image then they must be progressive, or JPEG files themselves can be interlaced?

Here's a clip very small sample if someone wants to download and have a peek for me:

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/redir?RESID=F587D73C02F4DBBB! 2689 & authkey =! ANELPbk4tYQDCDc & t = c the %2 file. AVIhttp: / /.

Advice of how a person would go to discover these parameters would be too large.

    Thank you very much.

    Pbeck1

Thanks for the details that worked for you.

  • Pe11: default project settings = last used project?

I read here somewhere (I can't find the thread again) PE11 still used as project default setting (so before one is added to the assetspanel or timeline) your last project project settings?

    Is it more right?

In my case PE11 always chooses 1080i 25 new empty projects while my projects (and images) are in 1080 p 50. So every time I choose new project / settings etc.

I want to reinstall PE11 (uninstall, ccleaner, reinstall and reconfigurate) after completing my current project, but I have to be shure firstly that PE11 uses as default empty project projects last one that has been used...?

In accordance with the standard audio in files IS normal. This stream Audio (through each file) conforms to the 48 kHz 32 bit floating point for extremely precise editing. This process creates the CFA files, which are what pre will have access on the Timeline, then the PEK files for waveform display. Let the consistent process the full standard 100% to all files imported, before making any change. This article goes into details: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3892177#3892177

  • Save project settings?

Hi, I want to CS6 AE to open in 16 bits - REC.709 whenever I start the program.

But if I change the settings of the project, whenever I close the software it resets to 8 bits and workspace: No.

Y at - there no way to make it permanent changes?

I looked in the .txt files are under C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\11.0 and did not find any lines that can relate to this...

    Thanks in advance!

    Swan

Æ must always use the publication that you created as the default settings for a new Composition. There is no project settings by default because a project is essentially an open box of drop assets in. AE will remember the last settings of the computer used, but he won't remember display settings for things like the project and time code bit depth. For this, for the moment, you need to create a new template. I have, and almost everything I start begins with my default.aet file.

  • Condition corresponding to the clip settings - CS5 project settings

I want to edit a clip I shot my Canon Vixia HF200 camcorder 1080 p.  The camcorder, Explorer Windows and Premiere Pro manual all indicate that the dimensions of the clip are 1920 x 1080.  Here's how I implemented my project (with a custom preset that I can not find a standard like this for a reason; why are all the presets 1080 wide only 1440?).  When I preview the item in the program monitor, but it display with black bars on the sides.  I've included a screenshot showing the clip in the program monitor and Windows Media Player.  If I change the settings at 1440 x 1080, the bars disappear, which suggests that the clip is actually 1440 wide, not 1920.  Why the contradictory behaviour?  That is, why the first recognize the clamp as 1920 wide in the project Panel, but not fill the prorgram with the clip monitor when using 1920 wide project settings?

    Settings.jpg

First has losts of standard presets for avchd like the one below.
