And it's for almost a month and they did not return my tablet. 8 days back when I called, they said tablet is ready, but I have to keep tablet with them for 2 days more they're waiting to get the serial number and the product ID for my tablet. and now when I called today they said 8 days ago their HP Server is down and so they are not able to get the required information.

I have no uder stand one thing that the HP company providing support global large scale and have these great products have internal their server down for 8 days. Come on guys, I am also support field and I know what means a situation own server.

I have here such a grievance forum where I can complain for such ridiculous behavior by HP authorized service center.

  • HP Omni 10 Tablet blocked at startup after change in BIOS

    Hello

I have the HP Omni 10 Tablet and I did change the Secure Boot setting in the BIOS that I wanted to install Windows 10 Technical Preview. After this tab change is stuck on the screen of "Change of operating system from the Boot Mode" and wants to get me on the number + Enter to confirm or ESC to continue without change. It is a Tablet and does not have a physical keyboard!

I tried now the Power for 30 seconds and low Volume key + key works when you turn on the laptop and it does not help, Tablet lights just on the screen. I have attached a screenshot.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

Hi @nishants , welcome to the Forums of HP. I understand that you are unable to restore your BIOS after you have changed, and now it does not load in Windows.
You will probably need a USB keyboard to undo changes. I don't know if even a factory reset is possible at this stage.

  • Is it Possible to get cellular Service for iPhone 3GS (2016)

Hi all! I have an old iPhone 3 g I want to pay for someone to use as a starter iPhone until they get a new. I would like to know if it is possible obtain cellular Service for this aircraft from the carriers, including Verizon Wireless? I know there must be a 3G signal, but I saw other people who still use the iPhone 4S with a 3 G connection to the present day. So, what do you think? Is this possible? All responses appreciated, thanks!

Not with Verizon, no. The 3 g iPhone is a GSM phone only, so you may still be able to use it with AT & T or an MVNO that uses the AT & T network. But it can't connect to the company of all CDMA based network.

  • external monitor for HP Omni 10

What can I use as an external monitor to the HP Omni 10? I have a HP W7072a, going to work?

Wow, that was fast! (and useful... I'm surprised that Google has been distraught on "HP W2072a.")

This screen has a "native resolution" of 1600 x 900 pixels, which is the correct report (16 x 9) to display videos and movies. However, it can display only a part of the Office of the Omni at anytime and it will take more scrolling to view the contents of the window & a few pop-ups information may not be displayed correctly. To get an idea of what it will look like, use the control panel displays temporarily set at 1600 x 900 Omni display and see if you find acceptable for your usual activities. This is an important consideration, because an image unique to an external display, it will fix a mouse & possibly a keyboard to your Omni to control what is happening on the screen. If you can 'live with' 1600 x 900 pixels on the screen of the Omni during the projection of a "duplicate" of this to your W2072a from HP, you can avoid the complication of keyboard and mouse. Assuming you are willing to change the display resolution of the Omni if necessary, you will need a 'micro-HDMI Cable VGA adapter' for your Omni to connect to this display. I did not see one of those on the HP shopping site, but here is a link to several:

    Amazon.com: adapter HDMI / vga

(They mainly differ in the length of the cable, and if they are the only two video and audio or video, you will need to decide which type will work best for your situation. Check the comments to find the models rated & no problem...)

I hope this is enough information to help you on your way... You can usually find some Member of the forum available to answer additional questions, and we will certainly appreciate having to report it at the time where the connection works to your satisfaction. You can then mark this "resolved" discussion while the other forum visitors can easily find and enjoy your experience.

    Good luck!

  • A web service for windows authentication

    Hello
I have a number of web services on a windows server.
These web services are for a program client (in vb.net), access and retrieve data.
This client program are launching for the PC of the individual user.
The above configuration is in a windows domain.
Currently, web services allow anonymous access. This means that anyone in the Organization, with the correct URL is able to trigger the web service.
We are asked to remove anonymous access and all forms authentication configuration.
    Questions

    1. What is the best practice for configuration for a web service for windows authentication.

    2. We also have a couple of unix servers. They are required to access the web services (with the correct authentication). How can I get a cross-environment configuration?
    Thanks in advance.
