Moored W510 has really bad update video internal display

I noticed that when I anchor my w510 in my dock, updates on the internal display is terribly slow.

What I mean is that scrolling in applications is very choppy and rough.

Play videos full screen creates 'split-screen' effect where the Summit of the half is out of sync with the bottom half, this separation is not constant, different media are the divider at different locations. several media have it in about 1/3 from the top.

This is also apparent in other applications like games full screen.

I did some research on the internet about this behavior and have not yet found a good explanation.

First I thought it was something power, I have no 135W power, and I checked the CPU is without limitation down or something unusual rooted or not anchored. I read people have bad experience with the power of 90W with limitation or simply bad terrible performance of the CPU down.

The really strange thing is that as soon as I unplug the computer from the dock, this behavior disappears!

The laptop running on battery or external power gives me about this problem.

I also tried to fix an external display directly on laptop or docking station, and I see no problem on external display.

When you use external display with docking station, the internal screen is still having the problem, while at the same time the external display shows no problem, regardless of the configuration of extended screen or mirror.

Computer running Windows 7 x 64 with Sp1.

Alll drivers are updated through system update.

An update, I used the updated system drivers, I tried today to download the NVidia driver, so I installed their Quadro Mobile 305.93 driver, and the problem seems to have disappeared!

It's looking good, but I need more than 15 minutes of testing applications scrollng, videos full screen, etc, to make sure that the problem is solved.

  • Description: Manager of "PHP_via_FastCGI" has a bad module "FastCgiModule" in its module list ___Error Code: 0x8007000d

Hi, I downloaded and installed the Web Platform Installer 2.0 on Vista Ultimate edition. -All of the walkthroughs I've read on this subject are different from the Installer (which is mentioned for Windows 7).

I installed PHP within the program that has been provided.

The test server works great for HTML (.htm) files - when I created a file .php to test that it doesn't seem to work. That's what I get in return:

Server error in Application "Default Web Site" HTTP Error 500.0 - internal server error

Description: Manager of "PHP_via_FastCGI" has a bad module "FastCgiModule" in its module list

    Error code: 0x8007000d

    Notification: ExecuteRequestHandler

    Module: IIS Web Core

    URL requested: http://localhost: 80 / index.php

    Physical path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\index.php

    User logon: Anonymous

    Logon method: Anonymous

    Handler: PHP_via_FastCGI

    The most likely causes:

    • A module is referenced in the configuration, but the module has not been installed or the module name is misspelled.
    • IIS receives the request; However, an internal error occurred during the processing of the request. The root cause of this error depends on which module handles the request and what was happening in the process of work, when this error occurred.
    • IIS could not access the file web.config for Web site or application. This can occur if the NTFS permissions are badly positioned.
    • IIS was not able to process the configuration for the Web site or application.
    • The authenticated user doesn't have permission to use this DLL.

    What you can try:

    • Make sure that the module is installed. The error description may contain information to help you determine which add-on is causing the error.
    • If the module is installed, check that the module name is not misspelled in the configuration configuration/system.webServer/handlers section.
    • Ensure that the NTFS permissions for the web.config file is correct and allow access to the Web server computer account.
    • Check the event logs to see if additional information has been recorded.
    • Check the permissions for the DLL.
    • Create a rule of follow-up to ensure the follow-up of the requests failed for this HTTP status code. For more information about creating a rule of follow-up to the failed requests, click here.

    More info...

This error means that there was a problem during the processing of the request. The application was received by the Web server, but during the treatment a fatal error occurred, causing the error 500.

I have spent hours on google looking for a resolution, but have had no joy, if anyone can help or has no indication as to why this is happeneing I would really appreciate it.

  • The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block.

    Hello world

After scanning FAT/FAT32/NTFS partition with the attempt to recover bad sectors, the system marks all free clusters as bad.
The event log is then filled with error messages "the device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block.".

Hard drive is 100% healthy. I bought three weeks ago.  I am 100% sure that there no erros surface, because I tested with Seagate SeaTool and HD tune Pro.

I tested it on three computers different windows 7 and I still got the same error.
CnMemory support won't accept as an error, they say that it is the problem of Microsoft Windows 7.

    Here is one video.

    Some info:
My OS = Windows 7 x 64, with all updates until the 2013.03.29.
Product name = "CnMemory Spaceloop 3 TB USB 2.0 sata external drive»
Inside of the box is Seagate ST3000DM001 SATA 3 TB hard drive with 4 k sector.

    Thanks for the help,
    Eduard

    Hi Edward,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums.

It seems that the system marks all free clusters as bad and the event log registered as "the device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block. We will analyze and identify the cause of the problem.

    Perform the steps:

    Method 1:

Queries or sets the bit of impurity of a volume. When the volume dirty bit, one is set, autochk automatically checks the volume for errors the next time the computer is restarted.

    Syntax-

    fsutil dirty {query | value}

    Reference:

    Fsutil dirty

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc788091.aspx

I would like to know the output of the following command:

    fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo

    Method 2:

You can run Chkdsk from WINRE.

In order to solve this problem go chkdsk from WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) mode and search for the issue.

You can follow these steps to run CHKDSK:

    a. use the Windows 7 DVD to start the computer from Windows Recovery (WinRE).

    b. in WinRE, open a command prompt. To do this, follow these steps:

    c. on the screen to install Windows, select the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or input method options and then click Next.

    d. click on repair your computer.

    e. click on the Windows 7 installation you want to repair, and then click Next.

    f. click on command prompt.

At the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    CHKDSK drive: / p

    CHKDSK drive: / r

    CHKDSK warning:

Important: When running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

Hope this information helps. Get back to us if you have more queries about Windows.

Explorer 8 is really bad compared to 6. It CRASHES constantly, is very slow loading. If cela an inprovement, then you're in trouble. The difficulty of this piece of garbage!

    Hello goodwrench70, welcome.

Internet Explorer 8, the conditions are correct, will run at normal speed. If the browser is slow or if it crashes, it could be a number of possibilities.

My suggestion would be to first try and launch IE8 in no add-on mode. This will allow us to see if maybe something 3 rd-party is causing the problem.

    1. click on START
    2. click on "programs".
    3. click on "Accessories".
    4. click on "system tools."
    5. click on 'Internet Explorer 8 (no add-on).

If the browser still runs slowly or crashes, you can place the machine in a clean boot state.

    1. click on START
2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
    3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
    4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
    5 restart your computer

If the browser still runs slowly or crashes, you can try using a different browser to see if the problem is systemic, or just with Internet Explorer. Search "Web Browser" in your search engine. There are a number available there.

If another browser to work properly, then I suggest to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer 8. After the reinstallation, I go to Windows Update and download all the updates that are available for IE8.

  • Windows XP update error: 0x8024D001, the site has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view.

Original title: Windows XP ~ Windows Update problem.

During three days of solid, and I slept then work, sleep and then working to solve a problem I have with the functionality of Windows XP Windows Update - this is the error message I get constantly

    [Error number: 0x8024D001]

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below may help you solve the problem.

I installed a new copy of Windows XP on a hard disk nine, installed Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3, installed Internet Explorer 8 installed .NET Framework 2.0 as Microsoft requested, modified popup settings to allow Windows Update page to be free to scan my system for updates, etc... and I even enabled all Active X permissions BUT I still can't Windows Update to allow me to download all updates, patches, etc... Windows Update has generally

I also turned on automatic updates requirement also BUT no dice - I can't just not update Windows to activate and start as normal, no matter how many times I format the drive and do a fresh install.

I had to get a new drive hard as my old crashed.

Now, I have to install Windows XP again but I noticed how old, easy to update somehow has been paralyzed.

It's as IF Microsoft is crippling of Windows Update to start simple as pie, then now we users HAVE to jump through hoops to get our operating system Windows XP set to day and repeatedly queries Microsoft asks us or install 'FIX IT' service does not work and it is impossible to reach by phone about Microsoft , and the live online help runs into errors when it is installed, so I have to hit the Internet Forum here for advice.

How, in words simple Windows XP allow Windows Update to run the scan, to download and install the process what it is supposed to do?

What exactly is missing to allow the screen to show the green bar and scan the notificiation there have updates available?

    What I am doing wrong?

I really hate to say this, BUT I'm literally at the edge of tears.

    Help!

Is there a maintenance program master as an "all-in-One rollup patch" that will search the lack of programs, applications, and settings of Windows XP and makes a one-way relay to set everything right and ensure that the programs needed to make Windows Update work are knitted in Windows XP, including all programs missing subprogrammes and to settings then check their self errors or incorrect version but it provides goes off to FIND the RIGHT version of What is needed?

Or better yet a disc Compilation of master i.e. Final Service Pack 4.0 that contains all fixes known on DVD that would be found in the downloaded Windows Update but rather is purchased for $10.00 that contains each hotfix and update known for Windows XP so that we can manually update Windows XP on the side of the user of the Internet without having to go on the internet?

You need 3 things to WU work.

    WindowsXP-KB892130-ENU - x 86 .exe   KB892130 Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.9.42.0
WindowsXP-KB898461x86 - ENU.exe   KB898461 Installs a permanent copy of the Package for Windows Installer

    And and unofficial WUA.

He's right on obsolete dll of WUA that MS is not updated once sometimes for some unknown reason... even the WU Fix there don't solve it. I ran a few tests in the fall and virtual machine on the same issue yesterday. You must install the unofficial Windows UPDATE agent.
Windows Update Agent below... MS last isn't the last. Boo Ms.
Download WindowsUpdateAgent7.6.7600.256 - 257.zip to your desktop (MS does not have the latest version of Windows Update Agent. Only 7.4.7600.243 so make us with this).

Unzip it, go to the folder and double-click RunMe - MakeInstallWindowsUpdateAgent.bat.

It will download, MS, the files needed to create the Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.256/257 and then install it. The files that it contains are 100% Microsoft. He uses just a few third-party tools to make it.

You will be left with the installer, WindowsUpdateAgent7.6.7600.256 - 257.exe. Keep or delete. Your choice.

EDIT: I forgot to mention. It took 1 hour before the scan finished for me. A guy that I was helping on another forum just let WU scan of the day to the next. When he awoke, the scan had the results. So please be patient.

You can create a CD to date and does not deal with all the hassles during the fresh installation. You need nLite and my script of the UDC. You will only need SP3 when "slipstreaming". No SP1 or SP2.

    Speed stop?

Unexpected/unpredictable and quick stops are generally caused by overheating or bad RAM modules.  This happens too fast to create an entry in the newspapers.  Try downloading / running the freeware 'CoreTemp'.  It will show you how hot your CPU is getting and how close to maximum temperature, it is.  If this is your problem, open your folder and check your fans to make sure they turn all.  Use a can of compressed air to remove dust, because it can act like a blanket and heat your components.

To solve your problem of bad block, run "Chkdsk" with the 'repair' or ' / R ' option.  This should clean up your bad block problem.

Just install Windows XP SP3 manually...

Before do you - make sure you have restored all the way back to Internet Explorer 6 * and * all your drivers for hardware devices are the latest version of each of the web pages by the hardware manufacturer (Microsoft did not your hardware - to be of course checked manually for the most recent driver by visiting the Web pages or the manufacturers yourself and find the latest driver for any model device (s) you have - map) motherboard chipset video, audio, network, etc.)

Get SP3 (manually) and save it to your desktop. (There's a link here.) [You are a COMPUTER professional for now.]

    Install it.

Then restart at least a couple of times for a few minutes between each restart.

Download at least Internet Explorer 7 (if it is not Internet Explorer 8).

    Install it.

    Reset.

Now, try to get the updates through the normal web page (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) and see how much more you can get (100 +) and keep checking until you no longer have.

Back - let everyone know if it worked for you.

  • "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block" on Dell Vista SP2

I am repeatedly getting the error "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." in the event viewer. Recently, I fixed a security problem that prevented me to install windows updates. For this, I ran CHKDSK (see results below), System File Checker, and a complete analysis of the system of McAfee, spybot and Malwarebytes, both in security and the good start. How can I check for errors on my HARD disk?

    --------------------------------------------
    My problem earlier wire: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/is/genuinevista/thread/60c76236-abd2-4fea-8980-007f424a8eb0

Although most things seem to work very well, "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." error still occurs in the event viewer despite the installation of updates/CHKDSK and SFC. Check the results of said disc 'the volume is clean' and the System File Checker showed no errors. Windows resource protection did not find any breach of integrity. Any ideas, what is happening?

In addition, I don't know if this is related, but a problem with the wireless network connection keeps recurring. "Windows wireless service" is not automatically start during the boot. It must manually be diagnosed and started. He gave the following error message:

In network connections, the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols are verified and most up-to-date driver software is installed. When I tried to update the drivers under devices, I got the following message. "The best driver for your device is already installed. Windows has determined that the driver for your device software is up-to-date.

    Hello

You look at the statistics of SMART to see if the hard drive is a failure.
    http://mikemstech.blogspot.com/2011/12/how-to-detect-failing-hard-drive.html

If he is not in default, you run chkdsk /f /r to ensure that bad sectors are marked. One way to do this forum works it offline.

If the disk is failed, you may need to save your data,

  • I get the message: Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Visit the Web site of the manufacturer of the video card for the latest version of the software.

Photoshop has been giving me the warning:

Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Visit the Web site of the manufacturer of the video card for the latest version of the software.

Also other programs are affected.  I suspect a recent download of Adobe.  Can anyone HELP.

No, it has nothing to do with updates of Adobe. There is a problem with your video card driver.

Go directly to the Web site of the manufacturer of the GPU for updates (not Microsoft, not a System Builder).

  • VMware Player, really bad performance.

    Hello

I'm a really bad, unusable performance with any client VMware. I've tried combinations of:

    VMware Player and VMware 10.

XP, Win 7, Linux Mint operating systems, among others.

All comments VM to run incredibly slow. Some of the questions include:

Movement of the mouse very slow/lag

Takes less than 60 seconds for firefox, or any program to open.

When a program is open, the shift makes it just unusable.

I tried to install the computer virtual invited to different readers, including an SSD.

I tried the resolutions of 800 x 600 up to full screen.

I downloaded and installed the latest VMware tools.

I searched and tried all the possible solutions I found on google for the last 2 weeks.

I checked the Bios to ensure that virtualization is on.

I tried to vary the amount of Ram and CPU available on the guest virtual machine.

    Course record:

    I7 2600 k

    mem 32g

SSD and a couple of WD black 1 TB drives

    XFX 7950 DD Black Edition

I am at a loss. If anyone has any ideas what else I could check it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Weinstein and thank you for the answer.

The host operating system uses Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and for the programs that are running, it may be a fresh restart with only the usual windows services.

With respect to the way in which the guest virtual computer is configured, I tried varying amounts of ram and cpu. But as it is currently is:

    Memory 2 GB

2 processors 'virtualization = automatic engine.

    (SCSI) hard drive 60 GB

    NIC NAT

Any other information needed please let me know, I'd really like to get this working. I got it on my old machine, a processor AMD/MB. When I built this Intel machine he developed suddenly problems...

Hmm, motherboard info if no help:

    ASRock Z77 Extreme 4

Edit... After addition of the motherboard in my google search, it may possibly be a Bios problem with this motherboard. From the looks of him, I may have to go back to an older version of bios. Investigation is ongoing.

Edit #2... After rolling back to the version of the Bios 2.5 it seems that my problems have disappeared.

For all those who use the ASRock Extreme 4 with a processor 2600 k flash bios to version 2.5

There are known problems using a processor 'K' with this motherboard and VT and bios versions more recent than 2.5 seem to have done even worse...

  • . MOV in CC files: the file has no Audio or Video Streams

I've recently updated the Prime Minister to CC, since I questions auditing all .mov files.

The specific ones Im trying for my current project is exports of EI, visited .mov without loss of animation, worked well in CS6, will play in quicktime and other generic company but still get the message of that the queue has no Audio or Video Streams trying to import them into a project.

QuickTime is updated so I do not understand why him will not play, is this a bug CC?

I will return to cs6 on my another computer they open very well...

I've seen a few topics on this zero with a resolution and in addition to those from where the cam is an export of EI, anyone able to help it prevent me from work atm...

    Troy
