  • Bad username / password on Ready Nas Duo v2

Since I was an adult upward, I'm not supposed to barge on this forum and just shouting that this product is crap. I really can't say that before I managed to actually connect on it, can I?

Have to admit that really angered me.

Have implemented what feels like 100 NAS-drives to work, and this is my second home.

So, I install the drive inside and hang the net. Use the raidar and concludes the NAS drive to try first.

According to the manual, the username / password should be admin / netgear1.

According to my loginattempts on Firefox and IE, which is not correct.

    It is a common mistake?

How do I correct? What I really want to start my career of ReadyNas by resetting the tincan until I was able to connect in it?

The password on DUO v2 is the password, it is not netgear1.

  • Cannot complete the connection due to a bad user name or password

Hello. I have a strange problem. I am beginner with VMware products. I installed ESXi on HP proliant 180 gen9 6.0.

After that, I used converter stand alone to migrate the linux server. Still was very good, everything works. But the next problem emerges after that two or three time - when I try to connect to remote ESXi it telling me "cannot close connection due to a bad username or password." No matter how I connect via Vsphere Client, SSH, or simply click on the link "Browse data in the host inventory warehouses" in the browser. In addition. I can connect with the same login\password using usb keyboard connected to the server.   Password change has no effect. It allows only a reset to default. And then it starts to pitch up and anywhere.  I read somewhere that the problem occurs if the set dns and host name on ESXi, I put not DNS so that only the host name. Another problem not defined RAID controller, but I don't think it is interconnected, maybe I'm wrong? I'd appreciate any ideas and help.

Hello. Ty for answer. Problem solved. I started to use same keyboard as ESXi server option. After the default US in US int problem has resolved. I don't know why it works with default US for a few days before.

    Hello

When I installed it in the past, I used the:

  • Question - the synchronization first he does not account, now, it syncs to all

I reinstalled Windows 8.1 on my computer and have struggled to synchronize my Firefox account.

Two nights ago, I synced bookmarks Firefox without any problems. However, when I went to check the selection for 'Story', he did not synchronize correctly. LAST night completely, he pulled me and me has failed to sign, despite even to reset the password, he notes "bad username" or password. Today, the account allowed me to connect, but nothing has synchronized.

That's happened? I have Firefox synced with another computer currently. How can I get this another computer to sync properly?

    Thank you.

A few things you can try:

    Disconnect, then reconnect to synchronize.

Delete the signedInUser.json file in the Firefox profile folder closed and possibly delete the folder of armor as well.

Remove and re-create the account FxA.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    Help me please!

Today, I tried to turn on my laptop and it came to the normal screen where I drag my finger, so I did it and he said I had to enter a password. So I entered my password which I know is correct and it came with an error message saying "bad username or password incorrect". When I clicked to reset the password it tells me that I should insert a disk or USB! I tried to put a USB key and he said that it was not a password change USB or something.

In any case when I turn on my HP the first thing that appears is the splashtop page, which is how I managed to get online to ask this question.

    In any case, please help

I think that DavidPK was referring to the windows recovery. try instead the HP Recovery Manager. Press f11 instead and it should show a screen that will show you the ability to run a microsoft system restore... This has been a problem known to us... the update that came out is 32-bit. This is why it is not compatible with the operating system installed. Try this restoration. and block the simplepass update. feel free to shoot me a message if you need more assistance.

I met the same problem today and found your post, a good starting point.

You may find it useful to search the status codes in the window header file ntstatus.h (I think you could get a copy of the installation of the Windows SDK).  You'll find codes State, MessageIds and MessageTexts.

I finished the missing codes of your table, but you can also view other values.

  • dot1x auth-fail vlanX does not

    Hello

    I have configured 802. 1 x on a fas0/3 and works very well.

I'm testing to set up a restricted VLAN on that port, and it does not work.

    This is the configuration:

    Federico.

    Ferderico,

How do you test the VLAN Auth failure?  If you test with a bad password and using the PEAP Protocol it is considerred a reproducible error which should not cause a rejection of the RADIUS server, instead the password can be retried without ripping first in the tunnel TLS via an Access-Reject.  As long as it is configured, it should be 3 access - reject the server RADIUS must be filed in the VLAN auth failure.  If I remember correctly a bad username is also reproducible.

If you use DCC 5 you can lower the number of retries PEAP 1 in which case you will have failed connection 6 times with a wrong password to hit the VLAN auth failure.

  • Client Jabber Viceo registry for VCS/MSDS

    Hello

I am trying to record a video jabber VCS or TMS customer but his does not work. Whenever I was

"Bad username, domain and/or password". Check spelling and caps lock.

Do not know why. Should what I do to register a customer with username and password? VCSC and VCSe are configured for access from inside and outside VCSe.

Is there a guide for video Jabber clients?

    Best regards

    Jason

    Hi Jason!

You need a starter pack of VCS-highway or TMS (license + Movi licenses) and a VCS (with the option of commissioning key device).

As you write VCSe and c its more likely that you do not have the starter pack.

She has need of configuration and user creation, so it would work not just out of the box.

The recommended method is the TMSPE, you will find here the deployment guide:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/tmspe/Install_Guide/Cisco_TMSPE_Deployment_Guide_1-0.PDF

If you have older versions of TMS/VCS you will use it (but I recommend you upgrade and use TMSPE!):

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/TMS/config_guide/Cisco_TMS_Provisioning_Deployment_Guide_13-0.PDF

In addition to this documentation Cisco for TMS, VCS and JabberVideo control.

    TMS:

    VCS:

  • Failed to connect to VCS - e, VCS - c is ok

    Hi all.

I have now read so many discussions on this issue and I have tried everything that I could find.

    But still I get:

"Bad username, domain and / or password.

When I try to connect to Movi from VCS-e.

    Among the things:

    -Area with credentials Check

-Sip Proxy enabled on VCS - e

    -removed the Provisoning VCS-e key

-Server SIP Public address added to config TMS model.

-Tried several tips on the search of VCS - e rules to VCS - c.

    What Miss me?

Any advice would be greatly appricated.

    Hi Alex,

  • RCLI command does not work

I installed VI Perl Toolkit version: 1.6 on Windows 2003 server (Server vCenter). I don't have even a single output for its PL files, which are placed in the bin folder. I can find a lot of pl files in the remote D:\VMware\VMware VI CLI\bin directory. But I couldn't get out to one of my orders. I got a lot of errors like:

    • Connection to the server error "https:/ / servername/sdk/webService '"

    • Failed to connect due to a bad username or password (I'm sure that my credentials are perfect)

    • When I run any command, it shows the help content.

I gave my entries below that I have tried. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Do not give links to reference because I have already fed up with all these links. If you can, please provide the screenshot of your order and its output.

    D:\VMware\VMware VI CLI\bin remote > vicfg - mpath.pl - Server 10.216.241.10 - username 'root' - password "Passw0rd123".

(I tried with my credentials of administrator, that has been created for the admin roles. It contains all the privileges as root).

    Thank you

    Ganesh

If you get "connection failed due to a bad username or password", it means that you probably not specify the good user name or password. Check by opening a session on the vSphere Client and if you are using ESXi, make sure that if you use root that you do not have active locking mode.

If you try to run vicfg-mpath/esxcfg-mpath, you must specify at least one parameter, otherwise you will get just the Help menu.

This, use the-l flag which lists the paths

    VI D:\VMware\VMware remote CLI\bin > vicfg - mpath.pl - Server 10.216.241.10 - username 'root' - password 'Passw0rd123'-l

Here is a screenshot with vCLI 4.1 vicfg-mpath, you can upgrade to the latest version and it will always be backwarsd compablity VI 3.5 or vSphere 4.x

FYI - the reason why people provide links to documentation is most of the time, users don't actually read the documentation before using some of the CLIs and then ask questions that can easily be answered by taking a look at the referenced documents.

How can I solve this problem? What is the name of the table that stores the data of connectors?

DBUserName = system: hope this is not a user of the IOM

Provide the IOM DB user name ie: DEV_OIM instead of system

due to bad username, the above error persist. you will find table CIH under IOM scheme.

  • can not connect to vmware server 2, just installed on vista

so I just install VMware server 2 on professional vista, and I can't connect.

the installation goes very well, no errors, and I reinstalled twice now and still no success at connect.

I click on Vmware server home page, it does appear in firefox, I use my login and my password that I use to connect on my computer and I just get:

"The login failed due to a bad username or password".

    help, please, thank you.

    Hello

Try activation of your administrator account and setting a password for it.  Then use these credentials to connect.  Once connected, you can set other local accounts to use.  You can then disable the administrator account.

Try the above, I didn't have to do is when I installed Windows 7, but I remember having to do so in the past on vista.
