Bamboo spark app affecting pdf attachments

Bamboo spark app affecting pdf attachments

That really doesn't tell us much. Whatever you want to say that it is "affecting" pdf attachments? What you trying to do? What happens when you try? You have what troubleshooting steps already taken?

Without any real information to go, the best advice I can thing of is, if the application is not crucial, remove it and contact the developer and let them know that there is a problem.

  • docx and PDF attachments does not open in mail

After you have uninstalled Open Office and Foxit reader, I can't open docx and pdf attachments.  XLS open without a problem.  Associations have been created.  Latest Adobe has been downloaded.  When I click on the input box, the icon shows that the files are Word or Adobe, but the message says still no association of this file.  No RT clk. available at least that I've save it first to a different location, and then of course, they open no problemo.  Any ideas?

    For the PDF.

    Create a file association.

    1. download and save the attachment to the office.
    2. right click on the saved file.
    3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
    4. click on: choose [default] program.
    5. Select: Adobe Reader.
    6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
    7. click on OK.

This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

Repeat for docx files, but choose Word to open in.

Windows Live Mail is unable to do so. I suspect a spam or your AV program, but the best place to ask is here.

  • Can't print pdf attachments to emails

I use Windows 7 and Gmail on a laptop Samsung.  All of a sudden, I can't print pdf attachments to emails.  I have to save the attachment and then print that is very effective because I don't always want to save the attachment.

Maybe you could try the Google support forum.  I found this:

"A lot of weird problems with Gmail web interface is due to a corrupt copy of the code loaded into your web browser and can be solved by"clearing cache and cookies".  Have you tried yet? »

"In Internet Explorer, you must manually add google.com to the compatibility view settings. If you do not have the menu bar, right-click on top of bar area and select this option to display the menu bar. Then, go to tools > compatibility view settings. Add google.com to the list and make sure that "include lists updates Web sites" is checked. Restart the browser and the "print" key should work now.

Google uses Google Docs when you click on 'see' an attachment rather than download it. For some reason when you click on the print icon on the display, IE chooses to crash without error. Once the domain is added to the compatibility view, the "print" key brings the printer friendly version of the document and displays the printer dialog box. »

I have other problems, but they may be related to the above, so I would like to sort first if possible.

Can you open the PDF docs?  Otherwise, here are some things to try...

    • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
    • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html
  • PDF attachments are appearing as attachments in WORD doc

For some reason, my Gmail program shows PDF attachments (that have been created using Adobe) as a WORD? When I double click on the attachment, it tries to open in WORD and shows just gibberish.  Yet, if I don't try to open and save in MY Docs and then move Adobe and open it, it works fine. This just started in the last month or so. It's the same with every single anchor.

In WIndows 7 or Vista go to control panel > programs > by default of the programs > set Associations.

Scroll the list to .pdf. Cick change program and set it to Adobe Reader. Click OK.

  • Cannot view pdf attachments in mail apps

    6 p iPhone / iPad 2 Air

    the two running iOS 9.3.1

Previously, when I typed on an attachment in the Mail application I could see it. Now, it downloads an image of the first page (which means that I don't even have the option to open in a pdf reader. All other types of attachments can be previewed as always (including pictures and spreadsheets.

This happens also to some extent in other email applications, but the behavior is different - sometimes it is just an image, sometimes the entire pdf downloads but opens on a placeholder indicating "PDFReader File", because of its size, on a gray background. At least I can then open it in another application. Applications that behave in this way are Outlook, shipping and air mail.

Spark works as we - I can view pdf within the spark files without opening in another drive.

I tried to remove spark, in case that was the issue, but nothing has changed.

All pdf readers are normally (Expert PDF and Documents). I tried to remove the material because it was a recent installation, but it also makes no difference.

This happens on iOS that I use and my husband 6 and iPhone devices.

What I noticed in the mail when I type to download the iBooks fleetingly icon appears and I wonder if it has something to do with it.

I tried a few other things, looked into the settings, rebooted etc etc, but nothing helped. He has only started a couple of weeks so wonder if something is introduced in the last update.

Thanks a lot if you can offer any advice or next steps.

This happened on my devices also.  I have seen one our help nothing helps.

  • Z5 will not Gmail attachment download / app updates / PDF files in Chrome

    Hello

My phone will only download Gmail attachments or app updates from the game store or any file to pdf from any webpage using Chrome, when I am connected to Internet via mobile, it works with 2 g / 3 g / 4 g.

I am online and can browse with chrome, open emails or research in the game store but when I start to download it takes just forever and, finally, the download is canceled.

When I'm online in any WiFi, it works fine.

Phone and apps to have the latest updates installed. Download via mobile is activated in the game store.

    Any idea?
Thanks and greetings to Hamburg in Germany.

  • How can I get Adobe to open pdf attachments rather than the word being the default opener is not working?

Some sent PDF Word attachments automatically select instead of Adobe for logon attempt. Have to save it on the desktop and redirect opening Adobe Reader.

On the menu bar of Thunderbird
Tools - Options - Accessories - incoming tab
(If the menu bar is hidden - press Alt)

Look for the entry in application/pdf pdf
and change it to your favorite pdf reader.

    jerryedgar,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers forum.

To open a pdf file, you must have the Adobe Acrobat reader software installed on your computer.  This is a free program that can be downloaded from Adobe here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ remember you select the operating system and the version that you have installed on your computer.

Once you have Adobe Acrobat reader is installed, all you have to do is double click on the file name to open it.

For a reason that my laptop has begun trying to open e-mail attachments with pdf and he can't, they are in word and open because of this ICAN t. All ideas

Because bad "file association" is set to open the .doc

Start button > Default pPograms > Aossociate a Type of file or Protocol to a program > wait loading > under NAME scroll down and look for .doc, until it clicks > everywhere, look under current by default, it should say either Microsoft Office Word if you have it, or Microsoft Word Viewer...
Obviously in your case, it says Adobe Reader > at the top, click on Change Program... > scroll down until you find Microsoft Office Word or Microsoft Word Viewer > if you don't see one of them, click on other programs and find > until it clicks > click OK > click on close
