  I built a simple test VI to play with point-by-point bandstop filters.  I use a simple filter point by point the sinusoid to generate the entry.  I can't get any bandstop filter action.

  I don't understand why you're not increment time linearly.  You just 0.001 * iteration.  You add the opposite of stage time to your time.

  In addition, use ms to wait rather than wait until the next multiple for your time of loop.

  I'm trying to filter the 120htz of certain data.  I thought just use a simple FIR filter and chop the 110 to 130 Htz band.  I don't know much about the FIR filters however I'm not trying to do anything particularly complicated.  The problem is that I don't seem to know what PB and SB are.  I read thought the forums and they seem to only repeat what help... implies that higher SB is highest between the two frequencies of stopband and lower SB is the lesser of the two stopband frequencies.  But this doesn't seem to be the case... or I don't understand what is happening.

  If I am using a bandstop filter, I should ONLY need Upper and Lower SB to define.  For my 110 application should be the lower SB and 130 superior SB... but it does not work.  So obviously, this VI is not what I think it does.  Can someone help or direct me twards and example?  Or y at - it an easier way of fliter on a frequency band of narorw from a set of data?

  And yes I know it's a LOT of noise 120htz.  I can slightly reduce.  This has been intentionally increased if I could play with the bandstop filter.  Also I use the latest version of labview... student and do not have the possibility to buy the filter SDK.

  1. the very large shift in the numbers on your graph (1.8E8) is part of the problem.  Remove this and you can get a filter.

  2. the topology should be something other than the default (Off). The default value is not filtering.

  3. because the function decomposition (is that what you want?) has the components of frequency in the same range as your intervention, no filter will remove all components of 120 Hz.

  4. the transient filter can prevent you from getting a lot of information on the first part of your signal.

  5. While the sampling rate satisfies the Nyquist criterion, you have only about 8 useful Samper by cycle of the 120 Hz signal.  A higher sampling rate might give you more data to work with.

  Can you tell us more about the real problem?  What is the nature of the desired signal? Is the stable 120 Hz interference or a source that can be controlled independently the desired signal?

• How to cut certain frequencies

  Hello!

  My question is, how to cut certain frequencies (sound of machine). The problem is im recording of the sounds, but have a noise in the background, who is always there, because of the machinery around the subject of the test. So I want to cut frequency of 1300-1500 Hz (in the example). How do I do that?

  I'm using labview 2010 sound & vibration toolkit. I found a few fast .vi which attenuates frequencies in example of 1000 Hz upwards or downwards, but no .vi is there that cuts between the two.

  Hello, dear comrades! I am facing a problem like a novice in data acquisition: there is a test bench which consists, apart from all the rest, two displacement sensors, acquiring data from the displacement of the rotor over time. the data that I get is loud, so I had to filter it. I'm using butterworth topology of a filter and a default break break high-frequency and low startup parameters. It's a bandstop filter because I checked the signal in the frequency domain and found the noise bandwidth. a few words on the subject: there is a metallic cyllinder, I use to test the sensors. so, when I don't move the object, the sensor shows a straight line, which means that the signal that I need a frequency 0. This means that any change in the frequency domain would indicate the frequency of the noise. I discovered that it is between 4000 and 4250 apprx. but no matter how, I tried the signal would not be filtered. the fact is when I send no dynamic data (lol-orange line) to the waveform on the filter it shows ok but the signal does not change over real time. so, I built a waveform taking into account features such as t0, dt of a form of initial wave, but after that I got an even more noisy data. It might be ive been trying to solve the problem for too long, I stuck to some obvious point, but I don't have any ideas, any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

  Before asking this question, I ve tried to seek answers in the forum and couldn t find a useful for my case.

  I m new to LabView and I m test for the analysis of the signals.  I m using an Agilent signal generator and a NI USB 4431 to acquire the signal.

  OK, here´s my problem. I can´t use of a Butterworth or a Chebyshev filter (or any type) to create a low-pass filter filter. I Don t know if I didn t understand it s parameters correctly or if I m set something wrong. When I use the ExpressVI filter, I get the result I want to, but when I use the function of Butterworth, it doesn´t work.

  Can someone help me please?

  Here some explanations: the "puro" labeled graph is the pure I m signal generation.

  The labeled graph "Spec. PURO"is the power spectrum of the signal current

  The graph "filtrado" is the signal after going through a low pass filter in the express VI (which works fine) and the graphic "filtrado Spec" is the power of it s spectrum.

  In the upper part of the loop is the function of Butterworth filter. I ve wired the pure data to its input signal and expect one out everything as the express VI creates, but he's not even conspire anything in the chart.

  

  The windowed FIR filter VI generates the error-20023, which constitutes a violation of Nyquist. Because this VI returns only an error code and not the cluster of standard error, you must connect explicitly an indicator or manipulation to the error output.

  Thus, for the high pass filters and both low-pass cut-off frequency is the value wired to low cut-off frequency: fl. I regularly get this error. When I get strange results, I read the help and fix it. As soon as I wired 5000 to fl, the output looks like this:

  

  The differences in amplitude and transitory initial are likely due to different specifications of filter.

  The way I start it is to convert the flag to a Pure control, do default to the current value, and then put all the DAQmx screws in schema structures disable. I have disable placing the pure control (or a copy of it) in a case to permit the schema structure which has the DAQmx Read. Since you have only one data channel I added the Index table to get a unique waveform of the table. Then all the code signal analysis works.

• I can't print after upgrade to Mac OS Sierra (error "Unable to filter")

  I can't print after upgrade to MacOS Sierra, always shown "cannot filter. I use AirPrint for Epson L355. Tried to reset the printer settings, uninstall and then install the printer, always in vain 'filter '.

  I think it has something to do with MacOS Sierra 10.12.1 Beta (16B2333a). Help, please!

• Printer "filter failed" for macOS Sierra?

  I have upgraded my iMac and MacBook Pro with the new macOS Sierra and did not have a lot of problems until recently. As my exams are approaching, I print on my printer, Canon E560 comments. However, recently, some pages may not be printed and printing stops. He said "stopped -"filter"failed", and I can't find a way to solve this problem. I did this experiment several times, and in early printing, it is said immediately that the filter is not on my computer, but continues to print up to a page where it stops. • Automate the cells of the filter to another table based on two columns

  What I'm trying to do is: filter multiple cells to a new table. In this example, I want that all students (column 'lidnr', 'city', then the first 7 columns) with 1 teacher in the 'First' column to be copied into the table 'teacher 1'. The same goes for students per 1 teacher in the column "second".   Hi Kim,

  The usual way to do this is to add an index for each table for which column the data is to be copied.

  Here is an example of preliminary. Improvements after return from the light of day.

  I'm having the problem where almost nothing goes in my junk e-mail folder. I rechecked my mail spam filtering preferences and I have it configured to enable filtering and move the Junk to junk e-mail folder. Those are the only two boxes checked. That the mail comes, I have systematically report as junk, but no matter how many times I do that junk mail is still not reported as spam in the future, nor is it place in my spam box. I really don't know what to do at this point.

  RE-INDEX YOUR SPOTLIGHT CACHE FILES

  In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

  * Click on the projector.

  Make this mail and Messages is enabled on the results tab of research.

  * Click on the Privacy tab.

  * Drag your player to the list. Wait a few minutes.

  * Remove the item you added.

  * Projector will be re - index the content of the element that you initially dragged to the list.

  Begin the recovery disk by pressing command + R during restart.

  Open disk utility and run first aid for your Macintosh HD (internal) and volumes given by you.

  Troubleshooting steps

  To try to solve this problem, I followed the steps described in the article «problems of printer on your Mac»  I have reset the printing system and it does not work.  I have also unplugged the printer, deleted the contents of the folder/library/printers/and then plugged the printer into.

  You will need to check with Epson to see if there is a new driver for your device compatible with macOS Sierra. The old drivers are not compatible. Even with the new driver, some people state that the error is not fixed :-( YMMV.

• Filter for HDR photos

  I used to use Aperture but have really achieved by using pictures. It does the job and is improving all the time. I shoot a lot of HDR and also keep the original. Is there a way to filter the only HDR versions and thus have a quick way of removing the non - HDR of same photo versions?

  As usual, reader of spammer lost so much effort...

  To filter the non - std areas I and probably countless others have created filters that throw E-mail ending in non - std areas.

  Problem is that spammers have now understood the weakness of filtering. Thunderbird offers filtering options like "does not contain" so spammers have now established areas such as thbnj.com- sweetlegend.accountant and qklmy.com- weedglad.party, etc. and their shit now gets through the filters that we have created in TB.

  Please add filter options 'stops not with' and ' don't start by ' so that I can get rid of the waste of these shippers.
