HP w17e monitor camera?

I have a HP w17e monitor attached to a Mac Mini (mid 2007version). Mac Mini is running OS x 10.6.8.

Has been a little frustrated Sunday during a talk on web (i-CAT) with one parent. I saw him, but he couldn't see me.

This monitor has a camera? If so, how would I turn it on?

Thank you

Hohinva

Here are the specifications for the HP Pavilion w17e LCD big screen. Based on the specifications, it does not appear this model has a built-in webcam and you will need to purchase a USB webcam to use web chat features.

I found a simple soloution to this problem,

Is possible to use a web browsers invoke node basically give a screenshot of the web page (get image)

It can then be loaded into a display of the image and will show exactly what the web browser is showing and can also be analised by unflattening the pixmap.

Maybe it's not the most effective method, but he turns my rig fast enough and does the job

It may also be a setting value of the display of the photo to "smooth updates" that gets rid flashes white as the changes to the image, if anyone else has this problem.

  • Automatic configuration of the HP w17e monitor active at random

Currently using an hp w17e flat, wide LCD screen connected to a NVIDIA 9500 GT video card located in a computer that is running Windows Vista Edition home premium (32 bit).  Running on 1440 x 900, 60 Hz frequency suggested by the insertion of the packaging of refreshment. Also in the 32-bit color setting.

(Other computer stats available at http://www.compusa.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4419976&sku=T71-3446%20ON&srkey=3000%20H210%2057088788)

Tuesday night (13/10/2009) let my computer playing music with the monitor off.  Morning, Weds(10/14/2009) and any platform is off.  Turn it turn it back on and seems to update windows pushed a lot of updates.  Then I noticed the problem.  Randomly, the automatic configuration of hardware on the monitor turns on.  Tried different applications (games, firefox [windowed and full screen], or just sitting on the desktop), and the Automatic Configuration dialog box appears in the center of my screen and shakes the screen.

Monitor checked button, it is not blocked (before this, don't think I hit a few months...)

No change, I tried older drivers I had before the update of windows, still didn't try to update the NVIDIA drivers, arrives.

Reset the monitor through the monitor menu.  Still happens.

Reset the NVIDIA graphics settings, still happens.

Installed the update optional windows update for the hp w17e LCD wide display.

Monitor connection video Cable disconnected to the video card, checked pins, pins are good.  Reconnected.  Still happens.

Tried to connect to another video on the port of the video card (always the same type of connection).  A reduced frequency, but screen looks flatter and more gray/less dynamic.

She returned after swapping the video ports when I open the NVIDIA Control Panel.  Didn't jump once while typing this.

    Suggestions?

    Updated several days later.

After the passage of the screen to the other video port on the back of the computer (vid card has 2 ports I could use, been using a) and disconnect / reinstalling the power cord on the monitor itself, auto config jumped just once shortly after reconnection of everything and not since.

Weird and intrigues me, but hey, if it works now, will to run with him.

  • Monitor camera of hollow room C20

    Hello

Recently, I get a request to check if it is possible to monitor a room the Tandberg installed C20 trough here.

I don't know if it's even possible, but if anyone has any idea how do (maybe using an application, site HTTP of the C20, etc.)

    Thanks for your comments!

If WebSnapshot is enabled, you can request a small photo of the room through the HTTP interface, the GUI admin outlined under the control of call, for example.

Note that this configuration item can be remotely activated, at least not easily, but once active can be used remotely (for security reasons).

  • Monitoring camera reduced sequences of 5K or 4K to 2K mistakes?

Regarding the process of integration of 3D elements in a plate of live action sequences, I note that the process involves the use of software to track and resolve the live action sequences where subsequently followed data can be sent to the relevant software to integrate the 3D-elements which is the process of moving.

However, I have a question about the images. As we know, most of the cinemas in the world have 2K projectors and some have 4 K projectors. I know 2K projection in cinemas will be around for a while before upgrading. I also note that most films are shot digitally using RED cameras for example, and they turn to 4 K or 5 K and then reduce the image to 2 K deal in post-production.

My question is: If one were to pull on a plate of 4K and reduce to 2K, when 2K images are followed and solved for the integration of 3D elements, would there be mistakes expected with the tracking/resolution process because 4 K was spread up to 2 K? I ask because it can be more costly in terms of time (and money) works with 4 K at the station, as most big 4 K 3D geometry must be returned instead of 2 K 3D geometry.

    Would appreciate your thoughts.

When you run that a trail camera AE calculates the focal length and fixed the position of the camera according to the perspective changes that occur to the geometry in the scene. A 4K has a greater than a 2K turned image size so the focal length will be different, but this isn't the position of the camera. The problem is that the focal length and the angle of view depends on the size of the frame of the model. This means that you cannot just copy the camera and stick it in a bigger computer.

Fortunately, there's an easy solution. Let's say you reduced your images in 4K images to fit a standard model 1920 wide HD. The height of the model doesn't really count, we are only concerned about the width. This same technique would work if you made a broad DI 1920 (digital intermediate). If you just scaling images to fit horizontally in a smaller model, you will need to dial before moving followed all the attributes before you ran the camera on the demo. If you made a DI, then you just camera would follow the images.

Now the camera track is done and everything works fine. You have inserted your nulls or solids and the model exported to C4D and created your 3D scene and everything goes well with the world.

To replace your images with the 4K images and set solution camera that you would simply run the script scale Comp that comes with AE. You open the comp and then you type in the width of your images at 4K and press go. Everything is done for you. You now change the scale to demo or furred DI with the original 4 K footage. You export the new model of C4d and you import smaller animation in the new comp in C4D and all evolve to adapt. The part of the pipeline C4D is the only part that requires some math. Everything else works.

I hope this helps. I've done this kind of thing for a dozen years and the file > Scripts > Composition.jsx of the scale, that's exactly what you need.

  • B286HK came without miniDP. Buy Apple Thunderbolt scan cable but monitor does not see.

My B286HK monitor came without miniDP cable so I went to Apple and bought a miniDP (thunderbolt) cable. The cable in the monitor and my Macbook Pro Retinr 13 "and the analysis of entry monitor jump directly.

Everything I read is that the screen displays 4K 60 Hz using the displayPort.

HDMI works very well, but ONLY 4 K at 30 Hz.

The monitor supports 4 k 60 Hz display port? If so do I need a special cable?

    Thanks for any help.

I bougth a mini-cable DP to DP and everything seems to work fine 4K at 60 Hz.

  • 2207 monitor: HP: w2207h monitor startup problem

My HP monitor only has not been commissioning correctly several months now. When it appeared everything first, the monitor has refused to start when the power button has been pressed. I noticed a noise "rattling or burst" and could see that the blue power light was bike works at short intervals. After some time the monitor came; However, as the time (weeks) traveled by the monitor continued to click and not to open the splash screen. When it happened I pressed the button of keyboard sleep and distributed, and for some reason, the monitor eventually would come on.

The monitor is not connected to a TV, it is only connected to the computer by VGA cable. I thought that the problem could be something to do with either the screen saver sleep or the settings mode, so I checked the power options and found that the two 'turn it off display", and"Put the computer to sleep"parameters had never chosen as their option. I ran the HP Hardware Diagnostic tools to monitor, but the tests were only good for alignment, color, brightness, etc.  I also checked to see if she needed a driver updated by the following process: computers > properties > tasks > Device Manager, and then clicking on other devices and by double clicking on the monitor; on the general tab, it displays the message, "this device is functioning correctly.

After a few weeks over time, sleep button thing has stopped working and I tried to leave the monitor on the night with the computer turned off. When the computer was returned the next day, the monitor took over the rattling again, but still it would end by lights.

Currently, I've resorted to press the button sleep when the monitor does not start alone, so far successfully startups, but I'm afraid it will cease to begin.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

The computer is a desktop PC of HP Pavilion a6637c-b with a HP w2207h monitor LCD 22 inch flat screen with Auto Picture Rotation function. The OS is a Windows Home Premium, 64-bit edition. • HP 22CV monitor: monitor

Can someone tell me if the monitor came with my HP package (HP 22VX monitor) has a speaker or what I have to buy free-standing. The small symbol in the lower right corner indicates no speaker attached. If I need speakers any suggestion a reasonable solution. My office is a model of Trb Slimline 8 2.

    John

Looking like the LED 21.5 inch HP 22vx backlit display specifications, there is no mention of a built in speakers, so at this point, it is to your preferences as to if you want to get the external speakers or use headphones or earplugs.

    I hope this helps.

  • PROBLEM SOLVED B326HK MONITOR

After a long search for a solution for the B326HK monitor which had problems when the monitor came out of hibernation, I can today, March 5, 2015 write the solution.

Acer does not deliver it properly cable DisplayPort with this monitor. Because the cable DisplayPort can NOT support 4 K. The solution is that you need a DisplayPort cable type HBR2. Such a cable that works on B326HK monitor can certainly summer find at this link http://www.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPort/displayport-cable-10ft-certified~DISPLPORT10L .

I informed Acer and they will contact the manufacturer for this replacement cable.

Glad to know that you have addressed the issue. Your efforts to solve this problem is appreciated. Thank you for sharing your resolution.

  • Vista don't forget display settings; move the second monitor from top right.

Windows Vista is often (not always) forgotten my display settings for my external monitor.

I have a Dell XPS M1530 laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT graphics card.  The laptop is running Vista Home Premium SP2 with all updates applied.  I have a Samsung LCD monitor mounted on the wall above the laptop screen that I use as a second monitor (driven by the output of the laptop).

I updated the display settings so that my second screen is located above my main monitor. My problem is that Vista often forget this parameter after the standby or hibernation, and returns the value by default display settings of 'second monitor is to the right of the primary monitor'.  This means that I often walk in the display settings to do the right thing (pardon the pun).

I've seen other messages to try to use 'View to connect' in the settings of Windows Mobile (win - X).  However this option only supports a second monitor is located on the left or the right of the main screen - not on it.

Any suggestions before I have eventually give up and drill several holes in the wall to mount the external monitor to the right of the screen of my laptop?

    Thank you.

In my case out of sleep the primary monitor (laptop) is off (still asleep) while the second monitor is on but the resolution is that the screen of the laptop and he took the position of the main monitor. I push the "fn" + 'f4' key to switch between monitors, laptop monitor turns on but the secondary display stands. Another pressure on the keys cause the laptop monitor to be shared and the secondary monitor is now on, that's what toggle keys do. On the third time that the keys have pushed the two monitors came the resolutions they were Setup.

Try using the ToggleKeys. On some laptops the 'f' key to toggle is "" f5"key. My 'f4' key has the image of two monitors.

    I hope I could help

  • help to install two monitors

    Greetings

We bought just a 700-215xt desire.  We also bought two 23xi Pavilion monitors to connect to it.  Monitors came with a VGA and one DVI cable.  There's an HDMI port on the monitor, but not on the computer and there is no HDMI cable.  Is a monitor to connect using the VGA and the other using DVI or can I somehow connect a monitor to another?

    Thanks in advance

    flanman

Each monitor must be plugged into the PC. This link will show you how to connect your monitors.

  • U2412M, new XPS 8600 DVI monitor does not

XPS 8600 with AMD 7500 series (an HDMI and a DVI output) video card.  The monitor is dead and does not illuminate.  Drop shipped a new Dell today and at least this monitor turns on (the led lights).  Connect DVI to DVI results in the error 'no signal' on the screen despite checking the entry in the menu monitor DVI...  If I use an old VGA cable with an adapter DVI of the computer that connects to the VGA port on the new monitor, there is no problem. So is the DVI cable, a problem with DVI-d port on the 'new' screen, or something else?

Thus, the new monitor came today and push the pedal using the existing cables, video card, etc. without incident.  The problem was with the refurbished monitor Dell sent in replacement.  Although I am happy that the incident is resolved, it took way too much troubleshooting and perhaps Dell should place stricter requirements on the "refurbished" products, they sent.
