Banner HTML for native Android App Builder

It is said in the release notes

  • The HTML banner in the library has limited the available API.

I don't see even a place in the application builder to define a banner.

We called Gold support and they don't know anything about the new App Native Builder.

Thank you

Darrin

Sorry, it's an error in the documentation. You will be able to add a HTML banner in Web-based DPS App Builder in the version coming v30 (scheduled for 15 March).

  • Location of service on a native android app URL

    Hello

    I create a new native Android app with direct payment entitlement, but I can't find the settings 'URL of Service' and 'Service Auth URL' in the Android web native application builder. They exist in the legacy application builder and still exist in the iOS one. How to do in this situation? Is there another way or place to fill this option or it is not necessary to direct payment?

    Thank you.

    You don't need Service URL and URL of the Service Auth for Android applications. Simply specify the ID of the Integrator.

  • Refunds or unique Folio for native Android?

    I'm not sure what the best strategy is for native Android folios. Should I build a unique in 1280 x 800 folio or rendered at 1280 x 800, 1920 x 1200 and 2560 x 1600 as described in Digital Publishing Suite help | Implementation of "renditions" to viewers Android native?

    Do I need three sizes of graphics (as described in the developers documentation Android) if I use the "renditions"?

    Thank you

    Joe

    I think you are fine with 1280 x 800 sheets. They intensify nicely on the larger machines. Create record sets if the folio of 1280 x 800 doesn't work well for some reason any.

  • I can't create a native android app made with a 2560 x 1600. I only see the 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768 option in the web native Android app?

    Hi all

    I created a native android app. I need to publish on a 2560 x 1600 android tab, the problem is that in my library, I have my ipad version of 2048 x 1536 and 1024 x 768.

    I know that when I create my native Android app, that I should be able selected my native interpretation in only 2560 x 1600, but in the library of android app generator tab of web I see only the option of 2048 x 1536 and 1024 x 768.

    Please do you have any idea?

    TX

    The drop-down list lists only folio sizes that you have published in the account of publication of your application. Make sure that you have actually published a folio of 2560 x 1600, and then you will be able to select from the drop-down list.

  • How to pass the legacy of a native Android app with minimal interruption

    It got to the point where I am recommending that my client switch their DPS app for Android native heritage. Can anyone offer an overview of the process of moving to an existing application? Most of the Adobe support documents are written for the start of a new application in native format. I need to give the customer an idea of how the transition will affect existing subscribers on the Android platform (i.e. will they need to download a new application, or if it will work as an update) and what we can do to keep the readers if they do not need to download an entirely new application.

    What complicates the situation, is that the likely customer want keep the legacy app so that we can to continue the offer on Amazon, because Kindle devices represent 60% of our non - iOS downloads.

    Thank you!

    To replace the legacy viewer existing, just use the same ID of beam used in the legacy application when you generate the native Android Viewer and then submit the application as a new version in the portal of the Google developers play. To locate the ID of group for the legacy Viewer, open the DPS App Builder desktop version and look at the list of applications. It may include a .air prefix, depending on when the application is built. If so, use the .air prefix when you specify the ID of group for the native Viewer, even if it is not an AIR application. The Bundle ID just needs to be the same. If you want two separate applications - that - I do not recommend using a different beam ID and submit it as a new application developers portal.

    The Amazon app is a different application that is unrelated to the game of Google app. You can continue to leave the application in the Amazon Appstore.

  • Android App builder v27 sign

    There is a known issue on the signing of an Android app with a key .keystore with App Builder v27?

    I have an application already published on Google play, this means that I can not change the key at all in order to upgrade. He was already signed (several times) with a valid cheque for .keystore until 2040 (double checked).

    At the moment he always says "not a valid key" when I try to sign and to download.

    It also returns the same error with a freshly generated .keystore (using the keytool utility). He worked with a former .p12 certificate, I already had.

    Would it be an incompatibility with the version of the keytool utility that I used to generate the key or what?

    It is quite strange that I can't use even more valid.

    Thank you. I sent this to the App Builder team.

  • PhoneGap Android app builded did not open external links

    Hello! Try to open external links in my android app but all methods in google and the forum does not. Use the most recent Phonegap (6.3.0), Jquery Mobile version (1.4.5) and InAppBrowser (1.4.0), there's my code:

    Config.XML

        <plugin name="cordova-plugin-inappbrowser" spec="1.4.0" />
        <access origin="*" browserOnly="true"/>
        <allow-intent href="http://*/*" />
        <allow-intent href="https://*/*" />
        <allow-intent href="tel:*" />
        <allow-intent href="sms:*" />
        <allow-intent href="mailto:*" />
        <allow-intent href="geo:*" />
        <preference name="stay-in-webview" value="false" />

    JavaScript

        $(document).on('tap', 'a[href^="http://"], a[href^="https://"]', function(e){
            e.preventDefault();
            $this = $(this);
            cordova.InAppBrowser.open($this.attr('href'),'_system');,
        });

    What I'm trying: all "_system", "_blank", "auto" with different methods (such as window.open, cordova.) InAppBrowser and etc), simple and deviceready links listeners (with windows.open = cordova. InAppBrowser), different configs in config.xml and many more methods. But none did not work, links simply do not open at all.
    Help!

    Best regards.

    Hello

    You may need to add this plugin cordova-plugin-whitelist

    then read the cordova-plugin-whitelist to white list navigation.

  • Android App Build 'failure '.

    I build on the generation of an Android application using the DPS Configurator "Android handset library and store" but get a failure every time I try to add a file updated the zip.  Here are a few odd notes:

    (1) if I use the .zip generated directly from the DPS configurator the soft going.

    (2) I have edited only the entitlement_banner.png because no matter what I do in the DPS Configurator I can't export a zip file with a custom image, even if it appears in the preview of the configurator.  I rephrase, I literally only published this png, recorded it with the same name and format.

    (3) I not sign in the DPS with the AppID Adobe Configurator, the administrator ID.

    (4) for the re - compress files edited in #2 I select all individual files, not the folder.

    No matter what I do, I can't edit this banner image in the Configurator or manually.

    Anyone else see this problem?

    That actually fixed.  Apparently, working within a Google Reader or a Dropbox folder will create these invisible files that requires him to corrupt.

    Thank you

  • Development of native android apps (I know this isn't a sub-forum appropriate, but..)

    Currently, android player is missing from the feature of running native code, because there is no support for arm v7le. If anyone can help on porting/add support for arm v7le in android ndk toolchain?

    Oh well not like android JNI, because it must be accompanied by our performance of dalvik which is not supported now as far as I KNOW

  • How can I specify the languages supported for an Android app?

    I downloaded my APK created with air in the console Android developers and it seems that the list of supported languages is the default (15 languages), see image:

    http://imgur.com/67MxVKI

    My app only supports 9 languages, how can I specify only 9 languages who takes care of my application? FFI

    There are specific tags, I need to add in the Android manifest additions in the application descriptor?

    Any pointer in the right direction will be appreciated, thanks.

    From Adobe AIR added 3.8 supportedLanguages for the descriptor tag xml app that would filter by default all languages:

    en

    It really works on iOS by filtering locations that get wrapped in the .ipa so Apple does not automatically list all languages, that adobe is located in the runtime in captivity. I expect this to have an effect on Android, if you have not already added this explicitly in the application descriptor.

  • Problem with the native android app generator

    Hello.

    I tested the new DPS Builder web app. The feature is very good and simple. After I sign the application, I want to download in the Google game shop.

    After downloading, I get an error message:

    error_message.jpg

    I understood it so:

    It is possible that the new version number is lower than the previous.

    I tested several parameters in the DPS web application builder, but the first digit (number) is never over 5.

    screen1.jpg

    screen2.jpgscreen3.jpg

    It's always the wrong version code.

    What can I do? Please help me.

    Type in "upgrade version" field. 3000001.

  • Someone at - it problems signing up for Yelp android app?

    Tried once or twice this morning join this site that locates and restaurant guests. Get "network problems." Asked if was because of the Xoom and/or lack of 3 G.

    After looking at the reviews of restaurants around here, I decided that I don't want to use it. Almost 180 degrees of my opinions. Laughing out loud

    I checked and it works for me right now, but he has had a few stability issues today on the side server. I don't really agree with their clients either, so I don't let it installed myself.

    Yes, this option has been removed with the release of v30.1. There is more information in the article What's new in this version .

  • Start the native application of the android app

    I need to do a task which is not allowed to make an android app. So I created a native app and I want to start this app for my android app. Is this possible?

    I found this question as soon as 2013 (https://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Android-Development/How-to-register-my-Android-app-as-Conten...), but it's 2 years old...

    I don't want to develop my entire application natively.

    Thks in adv

    It is possible to what you describe.  An Android application can invoke a native BlackBerry 10 application.  You can even create a headless BlackBerry 10 app that runs in the background (similar to a service on Android).  So the action can be executed without the user see the GUI of the native application.

    In addition, starting with native apps BlackBerry BlackBerry 10 10.3.2 can launch Android applications.  Here are a few links to help you get started on the side BlackBerry 10.

  • Updated version of the viewer App Builder natively?

    I update my apps Android DPS to the 32. I already have a built in generator online App Native to v31. When I try to modify the application, it has no option to update the version number. How can I make my native Android app v32 v31? I have to create a new application to v32 and remove my app v31 within the online application builder?

    The DPS Web-based App Builder allows you to modify an application, the latest version of the application (in this case, v32) is applied. You don't need to delete it and recreate it.
