• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Protect Web page problem

  I installed Blackberry Protect on my 9800 a few months ago.  I tested it by going to the web site from Blackberry.com/Protect by clicking on the link to the current location of the view.  This great worked as did all the other options on the page.

  Today I lost the phone home and decided to try the strong ring feature and I'm having a problem.  It seems that by clicking on ONE of the options (view location, strong ring, display a Message) will cause the computer screen go dim and a timer starts turning in the center of the page containing the word Loading... beside him.  Now, it has been so for about 30 minutes, with no sign of ever stopping.

  I found my phone at the same time, but it raises the question of what is happening with the web page?  I don't me remember the last time I tried that there was a problem with a long timeout.  The page does not show my phone correctly and identifies by my phone number, so it isn't a problem with not recognized.

  Any ideas what is happening or how to fix this?  The app is pretty useless without it.

  Mode of compatibility in Internet Explorer v9 solved the problem.

  Hello: Is it possible to enlarge web pages for better viewing on the Tour 9630?  Practically, I need to use a magnifying glass to read the pages!  I know that on the storm you just click on the page and it will increase in size for better viewing, how do I pages on the Tour to enlarge?  Thank you; Jon

• Bing Bar at the top of the Web page

  When I updated to the latest version of firefox, at the top of most Web pages, excluding the pages like google and youtube, I'll get a "Bing Search" at the top.   I suggest to check the Control Panel, uninstall a program and by clicking on the column heading "installed on" to see all the recently added items. There may be surprises there that you can (or need to) delete in the resolution of this problem.

  Then turn off all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Finally, if you need to restore your home page, the page of the new tab, or the default settings of the search engine, this extension will do it all at once: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

  Ah! Looks like you have replaced your address bar with the search bar. I recommend to reset things to the default value.

  Follow the instructions here controls, buttons and Toolbars Customize Firefox but instead of customization, click restore default.

  I pass the 'applicant' dialog at the bottom bar, but then the pages get hung up indefinitely at "loading" but no progress on the bar.

  Try resetting the device with the phone, turn on, remove the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall again.

• Seeing unknown to Smartphones blackBerry on several Pages

  I have an unknown indicator on the homepage which extends also on several other pages.  The indicator seems to be that of a cassette and is located at the top right of the home page, close the message indicator.  He also appears on the pages of browser and log calls in this position, passage to the upper left on the pages of Message, Note of voice, video and camera.  I could not find this indicator in the manual and do not know how it appeared.  Any ideas out there?

• How can I get the status bar on my web page

  I want to get the status bar at the bottom of the web page so that I can slide from left to right, if an article is too large for my monitor. I got it this morning 05/01/15. After Thunderbird as an option for my email, the bar disappeared after uninstalling Thunderbird. I know hovering on the web pages I have on my menu bar, but I'd rather have the bar all at the bottom of the page.

  I guess what you mean in the bar of horizontal scrolling if you want to be able to scroll horizontally.
  Firefox will normally only show the bar if content extends outside the browser window.

  You can have zoomed pages by accident.
  Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

• I can't get Firefox more due to my Web Page to the top of the screen around and unable to free him.

  Recently, when I clicked on Firefox I had 3 bars of tools, then on my web page on the rest of the page. Now when I click on Firefox, I get a white screen then my web page is displayed. If I click on any of the bands, the only way I can clear my screen is turning off my laptop.

  Or only some of them - the more complicated menu systems and dynamic content on the sides/high/low?
   
  These web pages have generally an option for printing of the true story without all the extras - look for it.
   
  Web browsers do not always print everything they see * as they see it * nor can they still do that (because of the resolution of the web page, etc.)

  First of all, try on your home screen, open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all fields) and then click clean now. Once it is perform a battery pull by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min. then reinsert back. After the restart it try again.

• BlackBerry Smartphones 2 Questions: A College Web Page open and repeat a song

  Hi all!

  I looked for possible answers to these questions before posting and I found nothing. My questions are:

  1. I tried, repeatedly, to connect to my college web page (www.ccp.edu). However, I noticed that I white screen appears when you do too.

  2. while playing songs in my playlist (using Media Player of Blackberry), I noticed that there is no option that will allow me to simply repeat the currently playing song. The listed repeating option, when you press the blackberry button, only allows me to repeat the entire playlist.

  This is my first Blackberry! And if it is not perfect, I enjoyed using it so far! Please any suggestions are welcome!

  (1) try to get the browser storm emulates different browsers - sometimes it helps. In the browser, press the BB (the button to the right of the green phone button) and select Options. You can change BB browser here... you can also enable or disable other options that may be part.
