  I currently have a problem trying to get a directory TMS containing details of ISDN on a SX20 with an ISDN connection.

  I created a manual list directory in TMS that contains details whether H323 or ISDN for various parameters.  The directory is detected by the SX20 and it shows all the details of H323, but none of the ISDN are listed.  The same directory, when it is applied to an edge 95, displays all the entries.

  I tried to create a directory containing only the ISDN numbers, and assigning that to the SX20 and then nothing is indicated.

  My first impressions are that that TMS has information as an 'ISDN' entry, and as SX20 has similar directory information stored in the form "H320", that the two are not compatible / correcftly - translation and so it's a TMS bug and/or TC software.

  In addition to the telephone directory, all the other functionality works as expected.

  TMS: 14.1.1

  SX20:TC7.0.1

  ISDN link: IL1.1.0

  Edit: I tried to push the same directory for a C60 and who was not either - TC6.3 - only the H323 entered were seen running - ISDN those lacking, is not purely a matter of SX20.

  There is no link to the SFT ISDN support. When 'route telephone directories' is set to Yes, TMS removes the entries she wants not the point endpoint to deal, that is what is happening here. TMS knowledge, SX20s cannot dial numbers H320.

• Mac links

  I have an intranet set up and all the files and documents are in one network with a drive letter. When I create a Web page to link to these documents, the link will look like this: file:///I:/filepath/filename.doc, where i is the drive where the document resides. Mac cannot follow the link because it contains a drive letter. Is there a kind of universal path, that I can use so that windows and Mac can follow the link? Thank you.

  The only time that \\myserver\myfolder\mydoc.doc would be
  the translation of http://myserver/myfolder/mydoc.doc is when IIS on MyServer
  is configured to have as base directory myFolder.

  Here's an idea, your mileage may vary. On MyServer (or whatever your)
  Server Web is called) of IIS Manager access. In your site, create a virtual
  Directory, create a name, for example. files and then navigate to the folder on
  your server where the files are stored.

  You should now be able to access http://myserver/files/mydoc.doc and
  your browser will now do whatever its defaults for .doc files.
  It can display in the browser, or it can download it, but if your
  users just right click on the link and select Save as that will download.

• Legacy FileVault Home Directory question

  I have a clients computer which executes 10.11 but always uses the legacy file Vault. Here is some of the best. The sparsebundle is 480 GB but computer customers is only 600 GB (old Tower of Mac Intel). For obvious reasons the client wants the file disappeared, but since this is the encrypted version of the base directory I cannot remove it (tried and have reconstitute with TM). I can't turn it off because it requires a lot of space to turn off filevault.

  Any suggestions? I'm at a point where I just want to reformat, but I hesitate because I would have to restore with Time Machine and just to bring back the old file not to mention disk encryption that already scares me.

  If it's in the wrong place please let me know and I can move it to the right place.

• How to set a home directory outside of C:\Users to a user in Win7?

  I want to put the outside C:\Users user home directory. Currently, the directory will be on the system drive, but ultimately I want to move it to another drive.

  Here are the steps I took:
  * Created the net per-user someuser / add
  * Created the base directory will, c:\someuser
  * Assigned the appropriate permissions and ownership to the base directory (based on what I've seen of other home directories, so full control to SYSTEM, administrators and the someuser and owned by someuser)

  But when I connect with this user, all files and folders are always created in C:\Users\someuser.

  I tried this on Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate, 64-bit computers. The command net user does not complain, and a 'net user someuser' indicates that the base directory is correct (i.e. c:\someuser).

  Any thoughts?

  Here you go:

  1. Create a System Restore Point.
  2. Logging in as an administrator account.
  3. Delete the C:\SomeUser folder.
  4. Move the file c:\Users\SomeUser to make it c:\SomeUser.
  5. Open the registry editor.
  6. Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.
  7. Search for "ProfileImagePath" until you find the one that points to c:\Users\SomeUser.
  8. Change it so that it points to c:\SomeUser.
  9. Use the system restore in case things go wrong.

• Question from TMS Export Directory

  Hi all

  I'm working on version 14.5 MSDS and I would like to export my file system directory, so I followed the section 'Contacts to export to a file' described in Cisco TMS Admin Guide 14.5:

  1 create a phone book.

  2. click on connect to this directory.
  3. Select the sources you want to export the contacts since then.
  4. for the Type of update for these sources, select Import to Cisco TMS or import to Cisco TMS and the source directory export.
  5. now select the base directory file source that you want to export.
  6. to update for this source Type, select Import to Cisco TMS and export toward the Source of the telephone directories.

  The problem is when the option choffeur to step 6, I found that I could not find 'Import to Cisco TMS and ExportSource telephone directories', only 'Import of TMS' or 'search only '? I don't know if it is to export the file and where can I find?

  I must say that it is more idiosyncratic and intuitive things I've met in a long time, although once you get your head around it, you can see the logic of programmers (although they could have made it real simple).

  You must have a SOURCE directory, which is a 'phonebook database file', then you must select that as the source within you, phone book and the value 'import and export '. All other sources of the telephone directory are defined to import into this directory...

  The exported CSV file will then appear on the MSDS Server (somewhere like "C:\Program Files (x 86) \TANDBERG\TMS\wwwTMS\data\ExternalSourceFiles") and is not the same has the file you may have used to configure the directory file-based in the first place.

  The only things I can think of that it is different this time is that I'm using localhost, I install "SCREW" instead of "PROD", I want to install in a default "Base Directory" (even if by default no longer works), and I use X 11 transfer because the machine is not a screen (do not see how this is important).

  The solution: I changed my host name and domain of localhost.localdomain and it worked, even though I'm a little scared because the newspaper said something like "host: localhost.localdomain" just at the point where it indicates that the user running installation (root in my case), but we'll see what happens.
