base system device and a HP ev2210 1xEV-DO Broadband Wireless Module as well. Missing driver

Your search: I have a laptop Pavilion dv2500tw CTO. I have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Home premium. Now it shows 2 missing base system devices and a HP ev2210 1xEV-DO Broadband Wireless Module as well. Help

Note: Mistakly I delete the partition system (Win Vista) when I clean install win 7 32-bit home pre.

Hello:

You need this driver for the base system device.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-54958-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=2093&product=3632220&sw_lang=

You can try the Vista driver for the card broad band.  There are no Windows 7 drivers for it.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-65526-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=2093&product=3632220&sw_lang=

If the Vista driver does not work, you can see if this driver windows 7 works. I don't know whether the pilot includes your model too or if it's just for the 2400.  This driver appears on the history tab of revision for the HP ev2210.

  • I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I need drivers for Base system device after installing Win 7.

My laptop used to have Vista on it.  I had a big problem with it, so I used fdisk to remove all partitions.  I made an installation FULL of Windows 7 and all is great, but when I go into Device Manager, I show an error with the Base system device.  I did all the updates through Windows Update, as well as update the driver.  Nothing has worked.  Can someone help me with this please.

According to Dell, your machine has been tested for the basci feature and should work ok...

  • Windows 7 RC - Portege M200 - Base system device

Windows 7 RC works well on my M200, but Device Manager is showing a "other device" without driver loaded. He is described as "Base system device" and properties indicates its location as "PCI Bus 2, device 13, function 0'.

I tried online searches and navigation within my M200 for a driver without success. I read elsewhere in these forums that the 'Base system device' could be tied up with the SD utilities. I downloaded a new copy of the SD utilities and installed them, but still no luck. Certainly, the SD format utility does not work - it recognizes not only an SD card in inserted - so maybe the necessary revision of SD utilities for Windows 7.

Not a major problem as I can format SD cards elsewhere, but it would be nice to receive a certificate of good health from Device Manager.

Has anyone another execution in this problem and even better, found a solution?

You are right about revision. All the drivers, tools and utilities for Windows 7 must be designed and tested before they are offered for download. As you know Windows 7 is not yet on the market and the public support can not be started. With first notebook comes with Windows 7 Toshiba Toshiba will be support for the new site and some old models of laptops.

Sorry but there is nothing you can do about it.

  • Base system device

    Hello

After I installed Windows 7, I noticed that the two devices are not installed correctly. Two of them are called 'Base system device' and they are 4 PCI bus, device 6, function 2 and 3. Maybe someone here can easily refer to it.

Eventually, card reader or press the key. Just swipe of punch in the details of your model to update the drivers and download driver Toshiba. Or have an automatic search, including online when you go to control panel, system, Manager of devices... Microsoft Update sometimes picks up these too.

  • W520 - Base system device driver does not

    Greetings.

This morning at the start of my ThinkPad W520, the player no longer works. A glance in the (Windows 7, 64-bit) Device Manager shows the 'Base system device' and points out that "the drivers for this device are not installed." Trying to get Windows Installer natively drivers does not work. Some googling shows others with similar problems in the past; recommendations include installing a card reader driver Ricoh for Windows XP or Vista; It did not work. Other drivers available include 8ass82ww.exe and 8axv51ww.exe - these don't work. Installation of the own Support Center Lenovo software shows that the Base system device driver is not installed. I can't find a way to install it. I tried installing driver exe files and searching the same files using the browse-for-the window Windows files during the installation of the drivers for the Base system device.

Seriously, * beep *? I lost more than two hours on Sunday morning trying to solve this problem. It worked yesterday. I did install new software crazy, or any software besides. Why this happens and more importantly, how can I FIX it?

This morning, ran Windows automatic update; I don't know if the updates were designed to the card reader, but the driver is now installed and the operation of the device. Too many updates to list them all, but thank you all for your help. Between the time I opened this thread and now probably I rebooted my machine 30 times and tried all combinations of drivers + restart. Then, poof, this morning, it is fixed.

The bluetooth device... I have a not sure about this one.

However, if you have not installed the bluetooth driver there is for the wireless card is your laptop, it's probably what needs to be done.

You install the bluetooth driver software and corresponding to the model wireless adapter with your laptop.

For example... If your laptop has an Atheros wireless card, install you the Atheros bluetooth driver and software. If your laptop has a Ralink WiFi card, you install the driver for Ralink bluetooth and software and so on.

  • Minor problem with the New Installation of Windows 7 on my Inspiron E1705/9400 - two entries for "Base system device" under "Other devices" with yellow exclamation point

    Hello

First of all, let me tell you about my system.   It is of a laptop Inspiron E1705/9400 with the Core 2 Duo T7400 processor clocked at 2.16 GHZ.   It has 2 GB of RAM and a hard drive on the Hitachi Travelstar nine 500 GB (7200 RPM).   It also has the GeForce Go 7900 GS video card.    Previously, it had Windows XP Professional (32 bit) and worked well.   But, I have three computers in my home and Home Office and would they work better together on my wired home network, so I'm upgrading all three to Windows 7.   My two desktops (a Dimension XPS 420 and the other Dimension XPS 430) seem like they will be no problem to upgrade to Windows 7.   But, this laptop was not on the list of Dell Windows 7 compatibility.   However, the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor that I have downloaded and run seemed to say that it was OK to do a clean install of Windows 7 32-bit and he had only a few minor issues, where it says search the drivers updated from the manufacturer.   Initially, the laptop came with a 100 GB hard drive.   For my use, which becomes very small, so I decided to get the exact same 7200 RPM drive 500 GB size.   This will allow me to do a clean install of the 32 bit Windows 7 OS on the new hard drive and not have to wipe the old disk to do so.   I can just keep the old HD and paste it back whenever I need to get something out of it.

So, here's my minor problem.   After the transfer of some elements off the coast of the old hard drive, I installed the new 500 GB drive and installed a cleaning of the 32-bit version of Windows 7.    I'm happy to announce that I have not had virtually no problems with installation and everything seems to work fine.   He seems a little more zippy than before and I have not met so far that doesn't seem to work.   I went through most of features and almost everything is superb.   But there is a minor problem, showing in Device Manager.   At least, I think it's a minor problem, but maybe someone can give me feedback to know if she is or not.

In the Device Manager list, there is a category called "other devices" now and the icon shows a little white circle with an exclamation mark.    When you expand this category, you see two identical entries that say "Base system device" and the icon has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark inside.     I know from experience that it is not a good thing to see items in the device manager that have a yellow circle with an exclamation point.   I clicked on both of them and neither one really tells you what the device is, or who did what is site you would go to a driver.    On the general tab, it has the following information:

    -Device type Other devices

    Reference of the manufacturer- Unknown

                         Location     -         Bus PCI 3, device 1, function 3

Under device status, it says the following:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information

To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

Each of the entries seem to be almost the same thing... but not exactly.   The other has the location

list PCI Bus 3, device 1, function 2... instead of function 1.   This seems to be the only difference.

I tried the button to update the driver, but that doesn't seem to work.   No matter if you say it looks like your

computer or to look for a new driver from the internet, it does not find anything.     As I said at the beginning,

the system seems to work very well... but, given that I don't know what this device is or does, I might be missing something.

He drives me crazy just have these yellow circles with exclamation point hanging out in my device manager.

I could really use some help here.    Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Bryan Ray (Richmond, WILL)

BTW, I just downloaded and installed the driver pack from this ftp location and it worked, even for Windows 8.1 - 64 bit.

    Thanks Steve!

Before installing this software, that you must have installed at least a MediaSmart package software. The best choice will be in my opinion:

MediaSmart DVD here (version 4.1.4328 for 32/64-bit Win7)

If you do not use any additional software you can use another product that is:
