Based on the sources, the routing of calls on VCS - E

Hello

We have now several customers, who can dial only an IP address. Is there a way to do a based ip source routing?

Example:

source ip address: 1.1.1.1. dest ip: 10.10.10.10 (VCS-E)--> translated destination: [email protected] / * /

source ip address: 2.2.2.2. dest ip: 10.10.10.10(VCS-E)--> translated destination: [email protected] / * /

source ip address: 3.3.3.3. dest ip: 10.10.10.10(VCS-E)--> translated destination: [email protected] / * /

Translated destinations are known by the VCS-E.

Best regards

Daniel

Maybe you're using the CPL, take a look at the start on pg 345 VCS Admin Guide .

What endpoints they use and how they are deployed that restrict them to compose only via IP address?

    Computer Vista hard wired to the WRT110 cannot access the router. But it CAN get to internet and CAN ping router without losses. The XP machine is wireless, can get internet and CAN ping router without losses, but also can NOT access the router page. Ipconfig displays 192.168.1.1 is the correct default gateway address.  Yesterday, I had to reset the modem to access the router and had to enter all the parameters.  Could access router yesterday but can't today. The IP address is valid from yesterday to tomorrow. I don't understand what has happened to prevent access to the router. I even unplugged the modem to the router and still cannot access router today.  I can't find this problem in the forum, hope this isn't a duplicate request. Thanks for any help

    I have NO idea why, but I can access the Web with IE8 installed utility pages.  Has absolutely no sense to me.  Of course, it must be some kind of safety but my IE use medium-high settings, so I can't imagine what passage of IE7 to IE8 did indeed these parameters.

    Happy now that I can access these pages, finally.  Hope this helps someone else.

  • Change the Source URI for outbound calls using VCS Expressway X8.2

    Hi all

    I would like a little help on a CPL script, that I'm working on. I lived all the examples of community support and I am always sick.

    We run on VCS X8.2.  What I've read, VCS X8.1 has introduced a few new CPL capabilities, including the node location CPL supports rewriting the regex-based source alias.  I would like to take advantage of this new feature. I'm looking for a tutorial or a direction more advanced examples using this new capability.

    Here's my question:

    I have an internal domain "CompanyA.local" and I have a public domain "Entreprisea.com". «My Cisco video endpoints register control VCS with a SIP URI of "[email protected] / * / .local'.»

    Receive calls from outside help "[email protected] / * / com" and the rules of research, I route calls properly internally.

    When I dial an external company, my endpoint is showing a video SIP URI of "[email protected] / * / .local"

    Of course, this isn't a SIP URI dial-able and should be changed to "[email protected] / * / .com'." "

    I know that this can be achieved using CPL, but I have not used this feature before.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Please suggest an example script CPL I can review.

    I would use a Regex to cover all of my similar to the following endpoints:

    source-url-to-message-regex = "(.*) ' @CompanyA.local '"
    source-url-to-message-replace = "------[email protected] / * /"

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    oooooo, that answer above gave me the answer I was looking for. It does not work! It seems that the syntax for the xml file has changed from pre x 8 and x 8. Looks like I've been using the incorrect syntax. I was missing the AVA: in the clause to the proxy, which is my version of rule switch not working. Still don't know why the address switch did not work, but I prefer the rule-switch anyway, so no big loss for me.

    I've tested, and it is fully functional on my vm VCS x8.2 running lab

  • Routing of calls based on the area Code

    I want to route the calls to some agents based on the caller's area code. I guess I'll need a database file to reference the calling party number. Then filter on the area code and the router accordingly. I never did look a script on a database. I would use a separate SQL database server for this.

    I can handle the routing part as soon as I know not if the number of matches. I just need some advice on getting to the database correctly.

    If I'm heading in the wrong direction? It must be an XML file instead? All the sample scripts or tips would be appreciated.

    No problem. Remember not all the nifty tools in the method Execute of Java later and I think that you will find very practical in many scenarios.

    Moreover, do not forget if you find a post is useful or solve your problem, you should give him a side :)

  • Routing based on the source in PIX

    Hello

    I am trying to find a way to make a routing based on the PIX source to get the same functionality of the 'road-map' command in Cisco routers; is there an equivalent command for this PIX 7.x version? I remember that it was not available in previous versions and I couldn't discover version 7.x, also, but I wanted to confirm with you double.

    Thanking in advance.

    Kind regards

    Haitham

    Haitham,

    Your interpretation is correct, Policy Based Routing is not supported on the Pix Firewall.

    Also, don't you confused when you see the command option 'road-map' Pix 6.3 and higher. This command is applicable only when redistributing routes into OSPF.

    6.3 Pix command reference:

    http://www.Cisco.com/univercd/CC/TD/doc/product/iaabu/PIX/pix_sw/v_63/cmdref/Mr.htm#wp1017196

  • call of CUCM to the router voice FXS thanks CUBE problem

    Hello

    We had a problem in our test environment:

    - - - - Analog telephone

    When we on the g711 codec, both directions of appeal are ok.

    When we put the codec for g729r8, appeal from analog to IP has no problem. But for reverse, the analog phone can ring but will be disconnected after a few seconds. Before the call is disconnected, we find that the codec is "pre-ietf g729" using the command 'show call active voice brief' on the CUBE.

    The configuration of the CUBE and Router (FXS) voice is attached. Really appreciate your advice.

    Thank you!

    Eric

    It seems that the analog phone only supports pre - itf g729 format...

    Unfortunately this codec format is no longer supported on any ios...

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/h323/14069-codec-complexity.html#pre_ietf

    You can try your luck and see if this pre - itf is available on ios, but I doubt it. You will need to have them on all your dial peers.

     maui-vgw-01(config)#dial-peer voice 100 voip maui-vgw-01(config-dial-peer)#codec g729r8 pre-ietf

    The pre-ietf in this command option is not supported in Cisco IOS release 12.2 and later.

  • Based on the IOS VPN Lan-to-Lan (NAT and route map Questions)

    Hello world

    I worked on my review of CCNA security and I have a question about this stage

    LAN1 192.168.0.0/24---(routeur HQ)--10.10.10.0/30--(INTERNET)--20.20.20.0/30--(routeur Branch) - LAN2 192.168.1.0/24

    I use 10.10.10.0/30 and 20.20.20.0/30 networks assuming that these are public addresses (is just a laboratory).

    I read that if I want to make the VPN tunnel while I using NAT I must exclude valuable traffic from the NAT process so I look on the database of cisco for more help and I found this (look at the 3660 router configuration):

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps6120/products_configuration_example09186a008045a2d2.shtml#T1

    so, I applied this config for my routers, so the config is:

    IP nat inside source map route sheep interface fastEthernet0/1

    access list 110 deny ip 192.168.0.0. 0.0.0.255 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255

    access list 119 permit ip 192.168.0.0. 0.0.0.255 any

    sheep allowed 10 route map

    corresponds to the IP 110

    I didn't really understand who is using the command route-map here, so I made this configuration:

    IP nat inside list sheep interface FastEthernet0/1

    sheep extended IP access list

    deny ip 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.255 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255

    Licensing ip 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.255 any

    Two of them worked I could translate my LAN addresses to the public to address internet and also could establish the VPN tunnel. So my questions are:

    1. What is the purpose of the road-map command?

    2. What is the difference between these two configuration?

    3. which one I should use and in what cases?

    Thanks in advance

    Jose

    Jose,

    Very good questions and in fact no need to the road map it.

    Personally, I like using course maps because it allows much more flexibility than simply ACL setup, but in order to bypass the NAT source IPs, there is no need of route-maps and you can do this with the ACL directly.

    I personally always use road-maps just because I can (route-maps are cool) haha

    Route-maps are very useful in other scenarios where you need to put more of conditions or factors.

    Remember that it is almost always more than one method to accomplish a task... which is one of those cases.

    It will be useful.

    If your still to know how to to this topic, here's an option. I hope this helps.

    -----------------PART 1-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Override the default constructor as this.
    lov instance will be created after the entry of the TF of the 2nd screen, so by LoggenInUser then will start,
    and will be used to create the instance of lov uses this value as a bind variable.

    SerializableAttribute public class EmpByMrgLOVImpl extends EmpByMrgLOV {}

    private String myusernameid ="";

    /**
    * This is the default constructor (do not remove).
    */

    public EmpByMrgLOVImpl() {}

    Set usernameid here when built
    get the usernameid of the bean class - btw the bean will be updated on the Taskflow method call before execution and now and set in constructor
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext ();
    ExpressionFactory expressionFactory = facesContext.getApplication () .getExpressionFactory ();
    ValueExpression exp = expressionFactory.createValueExpression (elContext, "#{mySOMEBean.LoggedInUser}", Object.class);
    This.myusernameid = (String) exp.getValue (elContext); set the user to act as link var

    }

    {} public void setmyusernameid (String myusernameid)
    This.myusernameid = myusernameid;
    }

    public String getmyusernameid() {}
    Return myusernameid;
    }

    }

    -----------------PART 2--------------------

    variable binding must Access EmpByMrgLOV VO using groovy as below

    You EmpByMrgLOV YOUR query tab, add bind var as below:
    Name = EmpSOMEUser (change to what your query)
    Type = String
    Value = ADF. Object.viewObject.myusernameid

    -----------------PART 3--------------------
    Once you have created a method taskflow run between your fist and 2 nd page, add set / gets in the bean for the var as below

    public MySOMEBean {}
    private Stirng LoggedInUser ="";
    {} public void someMethodCalledBeforeTFEntryintoSecoundScreen (String loggedinuser)
    if(loggedinuser!=null)
    setLoggedInUser (loggedinuser);
    else {}
    System.out.println ("not loggedin user");
    setLoggedInUSer (null); This will result in a null btw pointer
    }
    }
    public setLoggedInUSer {(String loggedinuser) {blah blah}}
    public String getLoggedInUser() {blah blah}
    }

    So part3 gets put first based on what you collect on your first page, then
    part1 at lov construction that uses part3 for her time

    Need help.

    Thank you.

    These parameters are reminders - pointers to functions that are called by the DLL - and there is no way to duplicate this purely in LabVIEW. Search this forum for the word "recall" and you will find similar questions (for other DLLs). You will need to write your own DLL (in C, C++, etc.) that implements these functions and provides a way to transfer data to LabVIEW.
