  Try restarting/resetting the router.

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  I just took a 1900 for my personal use at home. I did a basic auto config (Nothing fancy, just Plain Jane).

  As part of the configuration process, I associated the router to a Smart Access account that is different from that assigned to the routers in my church.

  For some unknown reason, I can not access the router using the Smart app unless I am accessing Internet through the 1900. If I have Internet access through my Verizon FiOS router, the Smart application tells me that my wireless router is offline.

  I missed the 1900 and started from scratch using my office... again... combining the unit on the account. Once again, no luck.

  I have a session with my smartphone and tried again with my tablet. Still no luck.

  Just to make sure that there is no failure, I tried to access the routers of the Church... and has been able to do without any problem.

  My problem is the following: using the responsibility for the management of the user (UMX), I can access the top of the manage user html page, but when I click Create Role, or attempt to modify the hierarchies or whatever it is, I get an error message indicating that I have not sufficient access to the system.
  
  Any suggestions? I use the wrong responsibility? Anyone would be able to guide me through the creation of a personal responsibility that would have access to these things?   You don't mention which account you use to do this - I think you are using your own account. What you'll notice is that if you log on as the SA account and use the responsibility of the management of users, you will be able to succeed :-) In a real situation, the SYSADMIN (being a generic) account is usually locked, so using the SA account is not feasible. You will need to do is connect as that of the SYSADMIN account (this once) and with responsibility for the management of users, given the role of "security administrator" your apps account (assuming that it is one you use). Then log out and log in as yourself and you will see that you will be able to do what you need to do. Unfortunately, this step is not documented very well anywhere AFAIK. PL let us know if it works for you.

  Problem: cannot access configuration page of WRT1900 or by using the linksyssmartwifi or the affected DHCP an address

  Configuration: I have a domain Active directory to manage all devices in my house and customers. MY ISP is uVerse.

  I first installed uVerse and the WRT1900 as being generally configured (uVerse providing DHCP and DNS), my field devices could not resolve the local my AD server domain name. To resolve this problem, I set up my server AD 2003 to act as a router, Server DNS and DHCP (see diagram below).

  In this configuration, all connected via LAN or WiFi devices can see internet and other LAN/WiFi field devices connected.

  The only problem I have is that I can't access the configuration page of WRT1900 or by using the linksyssmartwi or the address assigned DHCP

  The 2003 Server provides DHCP to all devices in the LAN attached including WiFi LinkSys attached devices

  Server 2003 provides DNS name resolution

  

  in my case it seems that the opposite was true.  I reset my router, which is configured as a LAN Gateway and now I can access limited menu.  most applications have disappeared and I can't do basic as things even see who is connected.  Almost everything that is available is to put the passwords for wifi access and the router itself.

  It will not even to change channels or wifi connection protocols.  Shame on Linksys for not properly support their interface.

  The good news is the still phone app works where some of the above items can still be configured (for example, you can configure at least most of the wifi settings)

• Windows 10 devices cannot access the router settings (R6250) page

  So, after several hours of troubleshooting (reset the router, firmware flashing, try several devices) I think I discovered why I get the message '192.168.1.1 refused to connect': 10 Windows. All devices not - 10 Windows can connect to Settings page fine, but all of my Windows 10 devices fail and get this message. And on my laptop, it gets the message refused on Windows 10, but when I rebooted the router and tried a linux live usb on the laptop, it connected to the page of the parameters very well. So I think it's some kind of problem between Windows 10 and the router.

  Anyone has any advice on how to fix this? I need the settings page to run on Windows 10 as it is the main operating system I use.

  Try turning off the Windows Firewall, temporarily.

• "Bad Gateway" EA4500 try to access the router after installation the software upgrade

  Hello, I have recently updated my installation software to Version 2.0.14212.1.  I realized that I had to upgrade the installation software before upgrading the Firmware to version 2.1.41 (Build 164606).  However, since the upgrade of the installation software, I could not connect to the router on any browser (Firefox and Chrome).  Instead, I get the error message "-502 Bad Gateway.

  To add to what chadster766 suggested, after pressing the reset button for 30 seconds, try to turn off the router to give him time to rest. After a while, it turns on and plug a PC for it. Try to access the configuration again to 192.168.1.1 page.

  I just bought a new wireless router, hoping that I'll be able to more easily print with my p1102w.

  Internet access works ok desktop and laptop (wireless).

  However, I had bookmarked the IP address of my printer, and before, I've always been able to access it by clicking on the bookmark. I checked the range of IP addresses for the router, and the IP of the printer is outside this range, so I don't know why I am no longer able to access to this. I can't access the web interface, whether they come from my laptop or desktop (wired). However, the printer is capable of printing from the desktop without problem.

  How do I enter this? I would like to restart the configuration wireless configuration, but I thought I needed the web interface for this.

  I should just insert the CD? I made a tweak or two and would prefer to keep all the settings of the printer even if I can, but I can start all over again if I have to.

  I just deleted the printer on my laptop computer, reset the settings of the printer default and then run Setup from the wired desktop wireless utility wireless. Seems to have worked, I can now access the web interface via my laptop now.

  Recently, our site is accessible outside of our network. Can access the House, phone etc but not at work. I am just welcomed with "cannot display page" site is hosted by an external company. We run server 2008r2 in an environment terminal server. I tried to disable the antivirus, firewall and could not see anything on the cyberoam firewall that might prevent the site to connect, even if I did have a lot of experience with the cyberoam. I can't ping on the website of the local computer or servers. Hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

  Thank you, its all right, was able to solve the problem. I discovered that it was a DNS problem. Created a new record and the site is now accessible.

• Cannot access the Router #2

  Here is a diagram of my home network.  This is what works.  If I have a device (phone or laptop) connected to the #2 router (wired or wireless), I can browse my network devices and browse the Internet without any problems.  My problem happens the other way.  For example, if I have a device (phone or laptop) connected to the #1 router (wired or wireless) I can see all network devices, with the exception of #2 router and all devices connected to it.

  Starting from a device connected to the Router 1 # I can ping LAN ports and Internet #1, #1 wireless bridge and Bridge #2 wireless router.  However, I can not ping the Internet port on the Router #2.  I guess it's a setting on Router #2 just don't have yet.   Here is a list of my equipment:

  Wireless routers are the two Linksys WRT 54 G

  Wireless bridges are the two Engenius ENS202

  Any ideas on why this is happening?
