• Function of memory in the loop control and Simulation - problem of the ODE Solver

  I'm correctly using the control loop & simulation to simulate the behavior of what is essentially a shock absorber-spring-mass system. In the process of change in time (dt) is used to integrate an arbitrary value. I use a rack depending on memory to store the time, to calculate the change of time (dt).

  The simulation is quite complex, because of the precision required, not all the ODE solvers can all support. Currently I use the Adams-Moulton method, this works very well for the simulation. However, it cannot detect the change in time, the change is constantly zero. This problem has auto market by using an another ODE Solver, but then the simulation has been messed up instead (even when I listen to the step sizes and tolerances). So I'm pretty confident that Adams-Moulton is one of solver ODE best suited to the problem at hand.

  Is there another way to store the previous hour and use it calculate lag, that the use of the memory function? Everyone knows about these problems before?

  I did a lot of research of error using the probe, but I'm sure that there is a problem with the ODE Solver and memory function. See the image below, showing basic how is calculated the change in time.

  I'm pretty new to LabVIEW, so if there is something else I missed I would be happy to hear it.

  PS! I set the tolerance minimum step of size/relative and absolute for the Adams-Moulton to simulate the behavior of the system properly.

  Problem solved!

  It turns out that the ODE Solver has struggled because of two "table 2D find" used functions. This was created for the interpolation/extrapolation, which caused a problem constantly and the ODE Solver could not resolve correctly, so the functions of memory doesn't work does not correctly or the other.

  By increasing the table manually, I could use closest method instead, with also good results as interpolation.

  The PDF files created by a program can be used by Acrobat, Reader and other 3rd party programs that can process PDF Forms.

  The only exception, if the folder level user written JavaScript work that uses Acrobat JavaScript.

• Limits of the process management

  I just activated and tested in HFM 11.1.1.3 process management. Is it true that once that basic users have calculated their data and a critical level 1 favours data, these users cannot see the data in the webgrids more?
  
  I would like to have all users (RU) to display the data at any time but cannot be changed once it is above their level of access. Is this possible?

  That shouldn't be the case. Users must have access to the data in the revision levels above their role - it simply becomes read-only for them.

  Please keep in mind that process management is by entity. So, if a user promotes RU from level 1 to level 2, this has no bearing at all on BU or Corp. Parent entities cannot be in a level of control to their children, but they can be a lower level of study. I guess that to help you, I would need to understand what data they can not see.

  Finally, it is independent of the gradual submission, which takes these concepts and adds more complexity.

  What message they get in the gates? NoAccess?

• Can I create a PDF document that can be commented by others using the PLAYER

  I have dozens (hundreds?) of PDF books I bought. One who created made them if anyone using Adobe Reader 5 or can be done better highlights and comments on the text.  I use the function to correct typos and send to the Publisher. I know this is possible because I've done it for several years before I ever get Adobe Standard.

  So... My question is... How can I create documents like this that can be placed in the comments on the use of Adobe Reader? I have Adobe 8 Standard and I don't see this as a separate Adobe Pro feature. and I hope Miss me just instructions on how it's done. I don't have any problem to do what I want to use Adobe 8 Standard, but I need to be able to make it feasible in Reader so that others can make comments in my documents.

  'Enable usage rights in Adobe Reader' or "Extend the functionality of Adobe Reader"
  are available with Acrobat 8 Professional / 3D version 8 or Acrobat Professional / Pro Extended respectively.
  In addition, Adobe provides basic service (LiveCycle ES) server that "active / extends" PDF as Adobe Reader can be used for observation, examination, Digital Signature, etc..

  You can use Adobe Reader to comment on PDF files means a requests above were used.
  Because you mentioned that PDFs are purchased the manuals in PDF format, I suspect that LiveCycle ES was used.
  This application based on the server (which has a myriad of 'modules' available) is expensive so, in general, it is allowed by the companies that need its features. Examples: the majors publishers or Government agencies (e.g., IRS).

  If you move upward, to Acrobat Professional, that you will be able to "extend features in Adobe Reader ' such that others can run comments & reviews on your PDF documents.

  As Acrobat 9.x is the current version, marketed as the professional version would be made available via an upgrade (do not be confused with the free "updates").

• Trying to figure out how to use the Windows calculator to convert a basic number of 50pico.

  I can't find out how to enter to the power 10 - 12. When I type exp it evokes 10th + 0, I want 10-12. I also can't figure out how to use the brackets and parentheses, I tried to use help and can not find an answer for what I am trying to do. I need to convert a number of basic rating scientist 50pF.

  I found the answer to my question.  When I clicked on the button in the calculator of + /-he would change 50 * 10 + 12 to 50 * 10-12 and give me the answer I was looking for.

  So, I guess if you pressed 10 ÷ 16533 pass, and the display shows:

  10

  16533

  This is because the calculator is in EXACT mode, and the correct answer will be the fraction. Any real number will be an approximation.

  You can change an existing exact result to digital using Red-right-Shift-> NUM (above ENTER).

  One more permanent is to change the settings, in MODE-> settings of CASES, put a check mark next to "approximately".

  Another parameter you would like to try is digital and symbolic, in MODE-> settings of CASES, checking or unchecking "digital." This influences whether constants such as PI are symbols or digital.

  I suggest that you play with it.

  If monthyear is a DATE, then just use ADD_MONTHS:

  SELECT     monthyear
  ,     ADD_MONTHS (monthyear, -6)

  Information about the dates belongs to a DATE column, even if you are only interested in the year and the month.

  If monthyear is a VARCHAR2, then use TO_DATE to create a DATE from it and then use TO_CHAR to convert back, if necessary:

  SELECT     monthyear
  ,     TO_CHAR ( ADD_MONTHS ( TO_DATE (monthyear, 'YYYY/MM')
                        , -6
                      )
            , 'YYYY/MM'

• Hide fields null except when calculated to show 0% - LiveCycle ES3

  I have a form that I'm working on what made a calculation regarding loans. He will take the monthly salary of the user entered and debt not guaranteed to produce a %. Well, I currently have to appear as white until the two fields are not zero. If I the area not secure with a 0 it will not calculate the calculation at all leaving the field blank. I need it to appear like a 0% if the total unsecured is actually $0. EXAMPLE:

  

  As you can see on the right side, I have 2 different calculations running for a main borrower and co-signer. Under Total Conn$ the first is 12,000 and the second is $ 0. Under the % Conn to Inc., it shows then 13% and then white. I need the field empty to fill a 0%.

  If you that your field empty to display 0% then use the display model null {' 0% '}.

  The quoted string and then will appear in the field, if the value actually feels the value zero.

  To hide the 0% when you print the form you need to script.

  In the case of pre-printing enter the script

  and in the postPrint event

• LiveCycle incorrect Date calculation?

  I have a couple of areas of a form that copy the following code:

  DateTimeField2.rawValue = Num2Date (Date2Num (xfa.event.newText, ' DD/MM/YYYY "" ") + 30," MM/DD/YYYY");

  Essentially allows you to choose a date that determines a later date of 30 days from the date you have chosen. Sound simple enough however the calculated date is always disabled? So if I take the 2010-07-01 he picks on 31/07/2010, if I choose on 01/02/2010, he chooses 03/03/2010.

  I'm totally stumped as to why this happens, and I am against a wall to make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Date2Num function converts the date in number. It is then add 30 to the number and then by converting the number back to this day.

  During this process, it does not intend to include the selected date. So in your case, if you want to have the exact 30 days including the selected date, then try adding only 29 instead of 30.

• Basic Help with Flash v10 (creating a simple calculator)

  I have Adobe CS4 Pro with Flash v10.  I am trying to create a minimal and simple calculator that adds 2 numbers.  I followed the tutorial at http://layersmagazine.com/flash-design-calculator.html.  Initially, I was unable to name the variables to all objects, but got this cleared up by selecting ActionScript 2.0 (was set to 3.0).  At this point, the calculator accepts two numbers, but when I select the button 'Add' the associated code, as shown in the tutorial, nothing happens.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might hurt?  Thank you.

  Remove all the variables in the textfield of the properties panel.  If you have also done the same for the total textfield instance name there, use:

  The trick is to first press the space key.  However, it is usually best to simply type the expression first of all, press ENTER, and then simplify the press.  In this way the unedited original expression is in the history so that you can tap it and re - use.

  Method 1: Shift Vars (characters), then tap the bracket you want.

  Method 2: (shift return) back for an opening parenthesis;  cursor - right back, for a closing parenthesis ().

  Suggestion: Tap box tool, the CASES tab, solve, and then explore this menu by highlighting one of the Solve funstions and press the help key.  There are a lot of powerful options it.

  First of all, to avoid the "implicit multiplication.  Since variables can have more than one letter, the first cannot know you mean c * d when you type cd.  He thinks you mean a variable called "cd".

  Your example should be typed as (c ^ 3 * d ^ 5) ^ 2 * (c * d ^ 3) ^ 3.  Prime simplifies correctly as.

  Your example solves 2y ^ 2 + 7y + 6 = 0.  Premium solutions are correct:

  * (- 1.5) 2 ^ 2 + 7 + 6 = 0 *(-1.5)

  *(-2) 2 ^ 2 + 7 + 6 = 0 *(-2)

  2 * 3 ^ 2 + 7 * 3 + 6 = 45

  2 * 4 ^ 2 + 7 * 4 + 6 = 66

  Another approach: factor(2y^2+7y+6).  First returns (y + 2) *(2*x+3).  As you can see, defining each factor equal to zero gives the first solutions given above (-1.5 and -2).
