  The only reason to find that level of load is the unit is put to sleep instead of shutdown.

  Also, try to reinstall the battery controller following the steps below.

  • Open the "Run" dialog box by pressing and hold the Windows key, and then press R ('Run').
  • Type devmgmt.msc. and press ENTER.
  • Once opened the Device Manager, look for an option named "Stacks" and click on it to decompress.
  • Look for the option "ACPI control method battery Microsoft". Right-click on the option and then uninstall it. Remove the multiple options of the same type.
  • Once done. Restart the PC and check if that helps.

  Note: Do not check the box that says to delete the driver. If done, the battery will never work on your PC again.

  I've seen good results with the standard 6-cell and the slice of 6 cells attached to my x220t that I've had for about a month now.

  It is my understanding that litiium batteries do NOT run at full capacity, that whatever it is around 20% or less will lead to a significant loss in the life of the battery.

  It s nothing unusual battery discharging if the laptop is OFF but its strange that the battery loses power in this little time.

  In the BIOS Wake up on LAN option may affect the battery but the battery loose usually only 5-10% of the power.
  However, go to the BIOS and disable this option.
  Save the BIOS and check if that helps.

  Hi bought a Toshiba R200 in Australia about 2-3 months with the standard battery and long battery life. My problem is that even when I turn the machine off of the battery discharges (i.e. it is not hibernating or it is suspended). For example, I left the computer off for 4 days and he did not.
