  The battery was not working so I thought I should be able to fix the pc with a new. Bought a PA3534U on ebay and I tried. But the pc is still not all batteries. At least he wohn can't cool. So now I don't know what to try.

  In my opinion, there is an open question even if you bought a good battery to work.
  I'm not very well if you got an orginal m part even if the part number seems to be OK.

  As far as I know the two 6 batteries with part number: PA3534U-1BAS and PA3534U-1BRS must be compatible with the A300 series and I think that you should just try a new original battery.

  A lot of dealerships selling non original parts from China and from time to time these parties could not be entirely compatible with different systems.

• Tecra A8 - 103 - battery flat after only 14 months

  After just 14 months on my Tecra battery appears to be dead. I said 'just' because of, I got Toshiba Satellite and after 2 years of daily work, on Satellite battery lasted longer than on Tecra Tecra,!

  As far as I know EACH laptop manufacturing offers only _one year warranty for the battery packs_.
  Why? Because it s nothing unusual that the battery would start to lose own performance after a period of use.

  AFAIK after over 500 times of loading/unloading procedures, the battery will begin to lose performance.
  This means reduces the battery life and someday you need to replace.

  I bought my laptop HP ENVY 17 of Office Depot in October and in February the computer crashed. I had someone to fix it and then I went to plug my charger and the laptop popped and started smoking. I bought a new charger thinking it was maybe the charger but I plugged it and nothing worked, so I need a spare battery. I spent a lot of money on this laptop and got less than 5 months use out of it. I was not able to use it and it's just really crappy because I spent nearly $1,000 on her for school. I'm not in warranty, there is a 1 year warranty, but I can't find or something. If I can get this figured out without taking another $200 in my pocket that would be great. Thank you.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite P200D-139 and for the last year or so the battery seems to be dead (so I think).

  the laptop will be work with the charger connected and if the charger is removed then the laptop turns off.

  under windows it says sound plugged in but no charge current and charge level is zero percent.
  the ac power led is to say I have it plugged in, but the battery light does not illuminate.

  If I pull the battery and reinsert it with the laptop is plugged in, the battery light stays on for about 2 seconds, then goes back new.

  Yes, that sounds like the battery needs to be replaced.
  My 6-year battery is dead too.
  It loads and indicates that its full load but after about 1 min of use the battery is completely empty

  The laptop does not charge the battery beyond a certain level at the moment its impasse on 41%, it says loading in windows but do not go anywhere.
  I saw other portable that stick onto the other percentages 99%, 70% etc.

  I tried to completely discharge the battery (on windows) and reload (for Windows), and also tried to unload and reload not in o/s, if anything they seem to have made things worse as initially the issue of charge level was approximately 50% and more.

  By mistake the laptop wasn't for awhile so the battery flat, which probably did not help as I understand its best to store 40% battery when not in use.

  Any ideas what the problem is and if theres any way to revive this battery?

  Only since the last morning, suddenly, the battery doesn't work.

  On power options the battery meter shows 100%, but when I unplug the power supply, the laptop dies instantly stops offshore.

  So, click Properties, it shows the battery details and said sound plugged in as well.

  I have a X 61 7675CTO.  The original battery was a part #42 T 4505.  I can't find a replacement anywhere on the Lenovo site.  Unlike what I have seen elsewhere in this forum, the X60S slimline battery (40Y6999) is absolutely not my computer.  I already ordered and returned (I pay shipping or restocking) a battery from the store.  The store does not say that, but X 61 Tablet batteries also do not fit the X 61.

  I called Lenovo sales directly, and the good person who answered the phone promised me that the 40Y6999 is absolutely my X 61.  I paid $141, TTC.  It does not.  It's too long.  When I searched through this forum, I found some mention that the X60s battery bay is longer than the Bay in the X 61.  I guess I'll be stuck, even once, pay shipping or restocking.

  Now, I'm completely at a loss.  I can't find a replacement battery flat for my X 61 anywere on the Lenovo site.  I already also found that sellers don't know anything.  I am very reluctant to the idea of using a third-party battery, so I seem to be out of options.  The 40Y7001 seems like it might work, but apparently, she does not have the imprint of the computer.  At least according to the Web site.

  Sorry, you do not get the right information on the battery for your X 61.

  The thin line of battery (40Y6999) compatible only with the X61s X60s. As you have discovered, it is too long for the X 61 (X 60).

  42T 4505 is a marketing number of Park for a 4 cell enhanced capacity battery. The replacement part is 4 cells (40Y7001) Enhanced capacity battery. It corresponds to the X 60 and X 61 (and with a spacer provided for length, the X60s X61s).

  There is also a bigger 8 cell high capacity battery (40Y7003) that suits them (with spacer for the X 60 and X60s).

  So, you're right, your existing battery replacement is the 40Y7001.

  The main battery must be inserted and adapter must be connected. The laptop must be turned on to 18,20 hours.

  But if the laptop can not be powered ON this procedure would not help you I really think that the motherboard is dead.

• Satellite Pro L300-1FN does not start - hang at the BIOS splash screen

  My Satellite Pro L300-1FN refuses to start. When turned on the laptop displays the home screen toshiba/insyde H20 BIOS and the message "press F2 go to the Setup utility, F12 to go to the start menu" and flashes the light access to the hard drive, but don't try to continue loading. I left the bios at the start screen, but it doesn't do anything for long hours on a power supply or is running the battery flat while on battery.

  Is there a way to re - put the BIOS on this unit? If it's a desktop unit I would remove the CMOS battery to force a reset of the BIOS but that's impossible on a laptop. The hard drive is fine because I have it plugged into another system to remove valuable data.
