However, it has now to the point where I can't turn it on at all. The laptop starts, the fan starts to turn, the hard drive turns on but it goes no further. Nothing on the screen at all.   I tried to turn it on by holding down the power button, I tried without battery. I disconnected the battery and the power cable and pressed the power button / stop for a minute. Still having the same problem. This eveningi tookl the laptop out and attempted to remove the cmos battery. He's stuck hard but I managed to remove it (out of one of the connectors in metal in the process. It is now set down). Nevertheless, the same povlem that happens.
