Battery HP Pavilion a6450

Hello

I have reason to believe that the battery CMOS on my HP Pavilion a6450z CTO desktop PC (Belarc Advisor called a HP-Pavilion, KL646AV-ABA a6450z) will - incorrect time and beeps on start-up, etc..

I would appreciate help to find the exact battery replacement as I needed - and, preferably, where to pick it up.

Thank you!

ProfBill

It is a standard CMOS battery.         CR2032 is part number which will be on the battery. The + must face upward.

You can buy pretty much anywhere they sell batteries. If you are in the United States, go to the pharmacy.

  • HP Pavilion f040nd 17: replacement of battery HP Pavilion Notebook PC

    Hello

Since a few weeks ago, I noticed that my laptop battery capacity has been significantly lower than in the past. Without recharging, takes laptop, for about 1 hour, while it used be about 3 hours. I was thinking about to buy a new battery in case my current suddenly no longer be used.

I searched for a couple of batteries for laptop computer on the internet to find that they were all similar to mine not or have different abilities. At the moment I don't know what to buy, I don't plan on replacing my laptop at least a year, and I'm afraid that the battery won't last that long.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion 17-f040nd and use the battery that came through the sending. Both the battery and the laptop are 2 years and have served almost every day. The battery has a voltage of 14, 8V and a capacity of 2700 card. It would be nice if someone could tell which battery should I buy to replace my current.

    Kind regards

    Carpet.

You can find "compatible" or "knock-off" batteries for a little less but I guess you want to stick with article authentic and $80 is not too bad.

  • Battery HP Pavilion 15-N214TX issue

    Hello

Today, I bought a HP Pavilion N214TX 15 notebook brand new. When I got home, I unboxed it, inserted the battery, plugged into the wall and turn it on powered for the first time. Then, I saw this message:

    HP battery alert
The system has detected the following battery storage capacity is very low.
For optimal performance, this battery will need to be replaced.
    Battery (internal) (601)
    ENTER - continue starting
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com \go\techcenter\startup

Windows reports, plugged in and not charging.

I removed and re - insert the battery, entry in the HP Support Assistant application conducted an audit of the battery (only to point out that it cannot find a battery!) and I ran diagnostics pre-boot, who also pointed out that there is no battery inserted. I saw somewhere that you should remove the power supply before running the tests. When I pressed the power button while the laptop was plugged in the AC, the charging light just blinked white three times. I could get at a certain point in the diagnoses of pre-boot on battery, but I always saw the message saying no battery has been found.

This is a great laptop, it's super fast, software installs quickly, programs open quickly, it stops and starts quickly, but this battery issue is a huge disappointment. I do not expect this kind of problem a new ~ $1100 laptop.

    Help, please!

P.S. The battery supplied with the laptop being defective out of the box, can I get a new one for free through warranty? Only, I bought this mobile last night (at the time of writing this post).

  • battery HP pavilion 15-e016tu notes with book

I have the hp Pavilion e016tu 15 notebook, & I bought before 3 weeks. problem is consumption about 5% to 8% battery after stopping power. Once I got close and start the day following consumption of this amount of battery power. Any ideas?

The laptop has always on usb ports where you can charge a cell phone or something to the usb ports even when the computer is turned off. Those go off in the BIOS could save one percent of copuple of day to the next. You will lose some costs over time. 5-8% of the overnight is a bit much.

I had countless problems with my HP PAVILION DV7 1135NR, I managed to solve most of the problems, but of course, another appeared.
I usually for "jimmy" my autour adapter to get a load, but in this case, I was too harsh and completely ruined the power socket (where you plug in the adapter on), my battery never fresh and remains at 0% so there is no way to power on the laptop without power source. This will be an easy solution that can do by herself a "girl"? What parts do I need to get my laptop turned on?

The power connector cable which is part of the kit "cable", you must:

Page 34 has a picture of him. Page 85 shows how to get down the top cover. The power connector cable can then be removed and replaced. It plugs into the motherboard. It is not a very easy solution but not hard like a motherboard replacement. The part is very cheap.

  • Cannot remove battery HP Pavilion DV6000

    Hello

I got a HP Pavilion DV6000 for four years now and have never been able to remove the battery. It's also 2 x bigger in size - it is a bit like a leg for the laptop. My problem is that his switch is stuck on the right side (where the CD rom is) and it is impossible to move. Also, the battery is not securely fixed - I can come out a little.

Although there is no problem with its operation, I want to remove it, because I want to change the CPU - maybe someone could suggest how I could do it without removing the battery.

I would appreciate any help seriously

Thanks, but I found a solution - the company that bought told me it's possible to put a credit card in the back, then it is pushed out of the back pins. And it came out. So this problem solved

    Thanks anyway

  • Buy a new battery for Pavilion dv4. Confirming the compatibility of battery KS526AA.

I ran a diagnostic battery last night after that I had trouble keeping my battery charged. It must be replaced. I think I found the battery on Amazon: it's a KS526AA. I found the battery on the HP Web site as well, but this product does not list what laptops, it is compatible with. I know the standard dv4 is a KS524AA, but I wouldn't mind the extended battery, just as long as it works.

Does anyone know phones compatible for the KS526AA or that the batteries are compatible with a Pavilion dv4?

    Thank you!

It depends on the specific dv4 series you are referring. Here is the battery compatibility chart: http://www.shopping.hp.com/shopping/pdf/HP_NB_Battery_Compatibility_Chart.pdf

  • I want to change my battery for pavilion dv6700 what capacity (mah) is the best

Hi I have hp laptop pavilion my battery is ded

I want to change my battery capacity (mah) is preferable. I see on ebay from: 4400 - and its going to 8800 mAH

    What to buy

    thanhs

The maintenance and Service guide for your notebook series indicates that your mobile phone comes with ether an Ah 2.55 6 cells or a battery to 2.20 Ah Li-ion 12 cells. The battery 12 cells tends to hurt saw the laptop on your knees a little bit uncomfortable because of the shape and added at the level of the battery.

Replace the battery with one of those you requested on should be no problem as long as you buy the battery of a vendor who guarantees its compatibility with your laptop.

  • Battery issue: Pavilion dv6-6c65sx

I have: HP Pavilion dv6-6c65sx Entertainment Notebook PC with Windows 7 64 bit

I plug it in replacement of office, so that's almost my only machine. I use it all the time.

I plug the AC adapter with the battery in place, but I don't know that it is the best practice for it.

I heard that the battery becomes weaker when it is connected to the power adapter of all time.

What really is the best practice, knowning that I rarely move with it?

    Hello

If you are using Notepad on the current, almost all the time, I suggest to store the battery that the machine will work perfectly without it installed and you win the advantage to increase the useful life of your battery.

The main factors affecting the service life of a lithium-ion battery are the number of charge/discharge cycles and if stored, temperature.

If you want to store the battery, drain to almost 40% load, and remove, wrap in a bag in plastic and store it in a cool place like a refrigerator (not freezer).  It is also a good idea, once a month, to load completely, completely discharge, fully charge and then drain them 40% again before putting it away.

  • battery meter Pavilion g6-2004tu is intermittently bad

Hi, I just bought a computer portable pavilion g6-2004tu a week at the back. Since then, I've noticed that sometimes the battery meter indicates a bad reading IE the percentage of remaining battery power remains constant for a long time, and the remaining time is also false, for example - 26%, time to 38 hours left. After a standby or hibernation, it becomes normal again. I checked my battery status, it says OK, i.e No calibration is required.  What could be the problem?

Even if the computer has the battery does not need calibration, I think that's always what you describe. During the time the battery can make 'forget' where the exact points of 0% and 100%. This can cause things such as showing an incorrect time of remaining battery power. Because of this HP recommended re - calibrate the battery every month 1-2. So start through the recalibration to be excluded as a possibility.

The process may be slightly different for each operating system, then here is the guide for Windows 7. If you have a different version of Windows let me know and I am looking for specific documentation. After trying these steps please post the result!
