Battery Lenovo G555

Yo, y ' All!

New register here. I bought a Lenovo G555 a few days ago, and I'm considering buying a battery backup for it. But I have some difficulties to find a store or a site that sells here in Sweden. Or rather, I can hardly find anyone who sells batteries specially for the G555. So, I was wondering, is there any other model Lenovo laptop with the same type of battery as the G555, I can buy to use in my laptop?

Thanks in advance!

Henrik

According to lenovospareparts, it is compatible with both systems.

  • BATTERY LENOVO IDEAPAD Z510 PROBLEM

I bought Z510 a year back, in this short time I am facing battery problem. Battery won't charge and the system to keep plugged in a State with each use.

I'm a home user and use the laptop for a limited time. I don't understand why lenova did not provide a removable battery that can be changed by the user only.

Now new battery is not available on the market, also that Lenova simply made it their responsibility saying laptop in not less than warranty.

I ask Lenovo go to analysis of root causes of this problem that hundreds of people face the same problem in this model.

Hope Lenovo would provide some software to assist the problem or at least to give the details of the service provider where the batteries can be repaired or replaced.

  • Do not charge the battery Lenovo B40

One day using my laptop, my laptop battery was empty so I plugged it. But the battery was not charging. I changed the plug point thinking there was a problem with the plug, but it didn't always work. I removed the battery, it reintroduced and tried to upload again but the is still a problem.

Then I removed my battery and plugged into the laptop. The laptop was working fine.

Keep the laptop plugged in (closed laptop) and reinsert the battery. The battery charged for awhile, then the power button / stop and power (at the front on the edge of the body) light started to blink. Therefore, I removed my battery.

So now, I charge my battery to first plug in the laptop (battery removed) and then reinsert the battery. The poblem flashing occurs very often.

Also when the battery is attached to the laptop and I'm trying to load only the laptop does powers in place.

    Model: Lenovo B40

The problem has been resolved. There was the problem of the motherboard.

  • Battery Lenovo Z510 problem

Greetings! I have a Lenovo Z510 8 GB Ram, Core i7, 1 TB hdd, I bought less than a year ago. Off late I've known major battery issues. He started with the laptop stopping randomly without warning, even if there is a life on the left, for example. PCT of 90 or more. This worsened when the laptop did not start at all, until I plugged in the charger. The only way I can now exploit the laptop is connecting to the charger, but again, the battery remains at 0 of the pct, does not load. The battery light continues to flash red, also, I used a BatteryInfoView application to analyze it, and it still says battery reached 83 percent of its original capacity, however, I get a message every time at startup saying the battery is low and needs to be replaced. What can I do about it? Thank you.

  • Battery - Lenovo Z510

Hi friends, I have a strange problem. More than a year ago, I bought a Lenovo Z510 which worked well. Unfortunately, just after a year of purchase, the battery started to pose a problem. I talked to the person interested in India who quickly rejected my plea for a new battery. As a result the battery was no charge and rest to 0% power. The service staff tested and concluded that the battery was low and in need of replacement. For all reasons, I haven't bought the new battery. Recently, I was to format my laptop for other reasons, and over time, he began to support up to 100% and has worked for about an hour that was actually fun. But my concern is that the event as to why and how it happens. My other question is that how long it would go. Was it due to formatting and updates! Please throw some light and reason it please. • Battery Lenovo Edge 15 unauthorized error

I have a Lenovo Edge 15 80H10004US. It's about five months. Recently, I noticed that the battery has a red X on it, and although it is reported that plugged in charge, he never takes a charge. If I disconnect the AC power that the laptop turns off in one to two seconds. I read many similar problems with the older models, but not mine. Similar recommendations that seem to include measures such as the removal of dough that is not possible (AFAIK with on the cancellation of the guarantee), turn off the system as a Hard Reset and uninstall the battery ACPI drivers. These steps have not solved my problem. The Energy Manager lists the battery as unauthorized and tells me to get it replaced.

I would like to get a few patches, other recommendations that send them to the Lenovo or have the Geek Squad to fix (it was purchased from Best Buy).

Please let me know what other information you might need to assist me.

Red Cross appears usually when the battery has failed.

If you have already tried the hard reset and update the drivers, then it seems not be much you can do.

Repair of Lenovo, while you are still in warranty, it would be my suggestion.

  • Battery Lenovo G70-80

I bought a brand 'new' Lenovo G70-80 from BestBuy a couple of weeks. I never noticed until last night, but battery does not charge even if the adapter is plugged. Someone else has the same problem and if so, were you able to get a replacement for your adapter and/or battery?

    Hi Umeshkatyar

I called Lenovo warranty and requested a replacement card. I got it in 2 working days.

After that I swapped the adapter, it charges very well now.

  • Battery Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 13 (0217) problem

    Hello guys,.

Because I couldn't find a solution for my problem, I decided to write here, hoping that someone (by a team from Lenovo or users) have the same problem and therefore can help me.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 model (version 0217). (I bought from a friend, because he didn't deliver more when I decided to buy it.)

I have problems with my battery. The design of this capacity is 62.12 Wh, I used it wisely, so it was not always charged to 100%. I always unload down around 5-7% and then plug the power adapter. (See image).

My first problem is that during the last 3 months, the capacity is down to 45,88 Wh and I can't really understand why. This can be a generic problem with the battery?

My second problem is - for which I found another topic here, but it did not help me - that when I charge the battery, stops at 99% of load, showing "3 minutes is remaining" and if I disconnect and reconnect the adapter, it stops like 99% saying have completely loaded. In the battery maintenance, I changed the settings to "always fully charge' Custom, but still, it won't charge the battery fully.

My third problem is that I have updated the BIOS of my laptop a few days ago, and when I try to search for an update of the firmware battery or when I do a battery meter reset, the system shuts down suddenly without any warning or something else.

I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this, I like really my laptop but it really bothers me...

    Thanks in advance.

    (1) so that you must have used it a bit and then, under the charge cycle is at 234.

    (2) don't know, but sometimes my battery the fact.

    (3) download HWinfo32 and check your system temp, and what temperature your CPU is.

  • Lenovo G555 OKR Win 7 Home Premium

Ugh! I came here and saw there were 200 + pages of topics. I'm sorry if mine is already validated and has an answer, but I ask myself in a hospital bed need to use OKR and cannot understand it. I won't go through all the pages to see if my are answered so bear with me. I have no documentation with me (it's at home for obvious reasons). Recently, I have this computer and have not yet created backups "file of users. The only backup here is everything back to how it was if I had just bought it and was first put on brand new.

IF I ABSOLUTELY have TO, I could lose my bookmarks in firefox (or I could just the zip file and send them an email to me - I use Live Mail so I'm not worried about the deletion and lose my emails). But I wouldn't lose my documents, videos and what-not. My other software, I installed from the factory-fresh install when I bought the computer is not much and I can actually just go to some sites and reinstall things, No biggy.

What I prefer is to back up all my personal files, so I don't have to re-download anything and have it take 1 million years to reinstall everything. In 'My Computer', I saw the C: partition, the partition D: (Lenovo) who had the OKR related files and I guess that the secret files to reinstall the original image. I have Windows, the value do not hide what whatsoever from me. I also see a MS Office Starter 10 q score: who is protected, but didn't seem to do anything when you double-click it except give me an error message that I am not authorized to access. Then there's the DVD Burner F: and below, there is a "Norton Backup" type icon that looks like a hard drive, but when you double click on that, it shows just 3 icons more: 1) backups of the system by default C: partition, 2) the partition D: Lenovo backups and backups DVD Burner F:... By double clicking on anyone of them showed that the it is that anything backed up towards them.

If I close and press the OKR which looks like a symbol of u-Turn of orange color, it brings me to the OKR options screen but since I have no backups created by the user, the only option that it will really allow me to choose is exit and let Windows load just as it does now and continue to use the computer , or reset the computer to the original image and lose everything...

How the hell do a user-created backup image? I went to C:\Program Files\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\Language\Enu\ and there was an overview of the OKR program, but nothing to really say how to create an image backup created by the user, the .htm files. Just that you are going to kick you if you create a return to the top of your data first and run the OKR to restore the original image. Not very useful. It would be nice if in fact, he crossed and detailed how the hell do!

I want to thank you all for your attempts to help me. I went to uninstall the existing installation of OKR and re - download the installation file, so I can install a new copy from the links provided in this thread. Unfortunately, I was with a WiFi very slow at the hospital I was staying in and after about 20-30 of 273 MB downloaded, it seems the download has completed. I finally got so fed up with it, I used a downloader that supports recovery and even in this case is the same trouble. Finally on download seventeenth attempt, I got it completely downloaded. Once again, since I'm on a slow connection, it took about 2-3 days with all these upheavals, but I got it. Then when I installed it, it's the same thing. GRR! Then, so I decided to save all my important files on a DVD and I just shut down the computer and supported the OKR button and allowed him to recover the original factory installed image. Now, Win 7 Home Premium desktop screen when you press the OKR, it gives you the options to create images of backup or restore backups I have created or install again the original factory image. It's a pain in the neck, but I got it working properly, finally. Yet once, I want to thank you all for trying to help, and you can now consider this topic resolved.

  • Lenovo Y 40-80 battery full charge capacity is very low

I've had this laptop for about a year and recently I had problems with the battery of my laptop.

For the past two weeks, the battery has been draining to 1% at the thread for the day before, even if it has been fully charged.
