  Hello! I got my curve 8310 since late January and this weekend, the battery was drain much faster then usual even if I barely used the phone. It has been most of the time, but only receive texts and emails so more than usual and until that happened, I had very little battery power.

  I loaded 100% last night and it turned off... so not use during the night

  Has changed on this morning and showing only 60% of battery!

  Also the timer keeps coming back whenever I do anything, never submitted to occur.

  I called service provider and they suggested problem of battery, or set of hand or SIM card.

  I ordered the new farm and in the meantime, I wanted another comment / helped, because I prefer not to have to send combined for repair, unless it IS the problem since it would mean that I am without a phone for 7-10 days!

  A battery pull would help this situation?

  Thoughts or comments would be appreciated before decide me what to do if the new battery makes no difference!

  You probably have an application or a couple running in the background. Turn off the unit turns off applications... not a battery pull (when turned on) will be does.

  Your battery may also be simply bad calibrated with BlackBerry battery meter. See the information in this link for help on the calibration of the batttery.

  Wow... that's a little wider set of problems you reported initially. In this case, most of the pre-trial remedies are, as you have discovered, not useful.

  The only left thing I can advice try to start in safe mode:

  Then, get a good backup of your BB. If you can not get a backup, your data may be lost. I hope that you have a prior backup. So, I recommend you get BBSAK (www.bbsak.org) and install it on your PC. My usage is the following: an average of 90 minutes of conversation constantly on bbm constant texting an hour browsing 10 emails sent and received per day (just web pages, no youtube) 30-45 minutes of music I always close the applications using the bb button then close after I'm done with them. I tried a bit of everything, power off of the LEDS for the backlight from dimming, but it doesn't seem to affect the battery use thay much, or not at all. From what I hear from my friend with about rhe same use, should I still get the same two days of my battery before he died. When I charge my phone I wait until there is a left bar or when the bar is a yellow orange (20%). Also, it seems that when I provided you check my battery percentage, he descends by fives, rather than display all numbers in the interval (it will go from 100 to 95 all the time) anyone who has information on whether this is normal or should I get my battery replaced please put down a post, thanks

  Ive just spent the last 4 hours trying to untangle the little sisters of my GF after that she has downloaded a theme that just froze EVERYTHING.

  It's pretty simple, you need to do:

  3. when the LED turns off (after a few seconds) press ESC (the escape key is the the winding arrow to the right of the beach towel)

  It freezes all the time because you're out of the application memory.

  I recommend you to install BlackBerry Desktop Software and do a full backup of the device. Then do a security Wipe. You can do the wipe by going into Options and type security wipe in the search bar. Do not include the media card, but include 3rd party applications. You can install those later via BBWorld.

  When it's done, you can only restore the databases that you really need like e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc.

  When you are all done to ensure that the media are registered in the media card. I recommend getting a much larger map in order to have room for photos and videos. You do not want the data stored on the device memory.

  1. First, back up your BBM contacts > open BBM app > press the Menu key > Options > backup > to Media Card (local).
  2. Go to Options > Advanced > Applications and find the BBM app, delete it.
  3. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  4. After reboot, use Explorer to go to www.blackberry.com/messenger and download/install again.

  This is a change from the simple option. Open your main messages folder > press the Menu key > Options > Inbox settings (or Inbox management) and you will see options to check or uncheck messages you want in the main folder Messages, or place a check of your primary e-mail address for these messages only streams to their own folder. Even with SMS, they can transfer it to your main Messages application or to their own folder.
