BB Curve 8900 Smartphones BlackBerry not charging

I made a trip to hr 21 w / without recharging.  Completely discharged battery.  Since that time...

-BB will not charge.

-J' have BB Desktop Manager, I removed the battery and replaced, bought the new battery, bought new a/c power cord.

-charging does not work via the port USB to PC, USB auto, USB-a/c.

any suggestions?

-Unit has never been wet, nor abandoned.

-Carrier is T-Mobile

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB charger cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

Hi I have a problem with my Blackberry device software, how to remove and re intsal software on my Curve 8900?

    Manual device OS upgrade instructions:

    1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    2. make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

    5. This step is not necessary unless there is a problem on the next steps. Use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then proceed to step 6

6 remove the internet connection for PC and reboot the PC.

    7. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.

    8. If you did step 5, restoration of the back upward. Follow this KB if necessary http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339

Take advantage of the new operating system.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry not charging on PC

My battery drains, and I connected it to the PC via the USB port.  It has been sitting there for about 3 hours now.  The red light is on but the phone does not illuminate.  There is no indication that the phone is charging or the other.

Can someone help me with this problem?

If the battery is completely drained, then you will not be able to load it via your PC.  You will need to plug it into a charger for BlackBerry (note, another wall Chargers may not work when the battery had been fully drained).

Your computer can only charge the battery on your BlackBerry, if she still some level of support.

I hope this info helps to explain why it does not work.

... Tried remove the battery for a solid + 30 seconds...

Tried to... Pressing the button On / Off for a long time

    any help would be appreciated

If it does not start - try using a wall charger if you're not. If you are connected via USB to the computer, make sure that you have Desktop Manager (or USB device drivers), you can download it below.

Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.

  • BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones cannot transfer media from my computer

I have a Curve 8900 without SIM card I use strictly offline and via Wi - Fi. (No cell connection)

When I plug it into my computer with a USB cable, it syncs email, contacts and calendar with no problem at all.

However, when I try to transfer music, photos or videos to and from the BB, I get a message saying "there was a problem so he tried to connect with your smart phone BlackBerry." He then proposed the link "troubleshoot my connection.

If I go into the "Device Options" section of Desktop software, I can check the "Organizer" or boxes "my computer's date and time...» ' under 'Synchronize' but the 'Media' checkbox is grayed out and cannot be verified.

The phone does not have a memory card or SIM inside.  Do I need one or two of them?

How can I get this unit to connect correctly to the computer?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bought a MicroSD card for it today - runs like a champ!  Thanks for the help!

    Thank you

On my 8330 under ADVANCED GPS OPTIONS, press the menu button and it says change option. My gps is not activated (Verizon) and I do not test it with, but you might see if you can pass here.

  • Problem of charge blackBerry Blackberry Curve 8900 Smartphones HELP!

Hello the BB community, I am new here and I just wanted to correct a problem with my blackberry.

Well when I started to connect my blackberry to load (I have a usb to wall adapter charger), the battery percentage would not rise. Thus, after removing the battery and put it in the creeped out slowly on its way to 80% battery power and no more would go high, no matter how long I left it to charge.  Same problem when I tried to charge it via the USB port connected to a PC.

To try to solve my problem, I bought a new battery.  At first I thought it was the solution because the battery has been charging at a normal speed and don't punish me out constantly.  However, even once, I noticed that, after a night of load, the power would NOT higher than 80%.

I tried all tricks, even reset my blackberry and re-installed the software. However nothing will leave power rise above 80%...

    Help, please!

(I should add that the charge indicator is on the screen, so all the time, it is said that he is still in charge, but 80% rises in the State of the settings menu)

    It is the charger I

I ordered a new charger that is on the right track. You think that it will solve my problem of 80%?

Of course, please do. Since the old battery and new battery acted both in this way, I think THAT it will be correct and re - calibrate the meter. We'll see.

  • BlackBerry curve 8520 smartphones does not not with DM

Hi, I got a curve 8520 and tried to synchronize it with the Desktop Manager (mac osx snow leopard 32bits) but the computer does not recognize it (not even as peripheral mass storage), usb sockets are fine, given that the phone is charging and be detected by windows as a blackberry smartphone in analogies.

I tried reseting, removing the battery, restart the computer, re install DM, install the Device Manager.

The strange thing is that I was able to sync 6 months ago (it was my cell phone the mothers) without any problem using DM... I don't know what else to do, any help greatly appreciated.

For those who have this problem of MAC (snow leopard) drivers seem to come with pocketmac and not with the DM. has worked for my curve 8520 with DM and installed pocketmac.

Then I took the battery and it froze at the start page where you actually see the load under the word Blackberry line. It lights up. I tried to take the battery several times today, I connected with the wall charger, I let him ask without battery for 2 hours and tried, nothing, then I let him sit there for an hour to see if it was just slow in start-up and NOTHING. I even tried connecting the USB port on the laptop and see if I could activate it on the Blackberry Desktop Software. and still nothing. The battery is fully charged and it was not any damage done to it at all, no water or has not been abandoned. Please if anyone has any idea please help! PS I have no insurance on it and the warranty has expired,

I left my (frozen) on blackberry with battery all nite and plugged the power cord... and low and behold... Finally activated... I was awakened by my alarm on my blackberry... now its place and run... yay!

  • BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone - emails not delivered on my device.

Today I have problems with my Curve 8520. I got a message from [email protected] informing me that my emails are not delivered on my device.
It keeps telling me to activate the IMAP setting for all messages on my email address and verify my account.
After checking, my IMAP settings are correct, so I re-validated my Bkackberry and to all intent & purpose the email account is now valid. However, I then shortly receive another message exactly the same [email protected].
I have been around this cycle 3 - 4 times now, but don't get to emails - ideas please?
    Kind regards

    Hello!

    I suggest the following:

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.
