Hello I am a new user and just joined today and afew questions sorry to make a topic so quickly.
I bought a tmobile blackberry curve and I am planing on making a world phone so I can use it overseas or with say ATT
I went to gsmphonesource to order an unlock code for it but I hit cancel them and return to the page, and he placed the order!
This site really work, or is it a scam?
I na not ordering he charged just to me and I just clicked on the deal from tmobile 14.99 a little scared at the moment because it is said online delivery, but I do not see how the cause didn't submit any info on my phone sorry I'm new and just worried now any help would be great thanks guys.

gsmphonesource.com is a seller of commendable unlocking.

But you really need to contact them for assistance with your order (or the cancellation of the order, if you never enter your credit card information).

For an another unlocker honest and reputable, contact Horizon Wireless in my signature below, they'll make you right. See the link in my signature below.

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8320 curve: no Email icon

I have no e-mail icon (the little envelope with the red arrow on it).  I've only owned the phone for a week.  I hit the button menu and select the option "Show all" and 2 faded icons appeared - 'New message' and 'saved Messages '.  I rose the balckberry email all together through my cellular service provider, but I don't see the app on my phone to put in place.  Any suggestions?  TIA!

    Hello

Your email is not the installer such as advised by the message "no messages service is configured.

Even if you said as the carrier put it-, it is not.

You can go to the e-mail settings icon and create your own account, etc. and do it there, or you can call your carrier and get them to do...

Your call (but I'd do it myself through the e-mail settings icon).

Whenever this happens I have to disconnect and reconnect to the network. As soon as I reconnect to the network again starts the flow of electronic mail and Internet is available.

Please do not use foul language.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8320 T-Mobile using the curve with AT & T Service

    Hello

I have a Curve 8320 which was initially branded as a T-Mobile phone.  It is unlocked, and I use it with AT & T service.

Phone works fine, just like internet and Messaging.  However, I can't set up email and cannot set up on the Blackberry Internet Service web page as he says he is not registered with my provider of wireless.  I followed the steps on the phone to save, no luck.

Support technical at & T said that they cannot set up a profile on the Blackberry page for me, as long as T-Mobile removes the old profile for this phone.  T-Mobile tech service dept basically said that they have no idea what talking about AT & T & suggested that contact Blackberry directly to get the deleted profile.  Tech AT & T once said that it's done, I can set up a new profile page www.att.blackberry.com and everything will be good.

So, how can I get the blackberry web page deleted profile of T-Mobile, as AT & T rep service tech says needs to be done? Or is this info correct that AT & T provided?  Or is this phone locked for always in service of T-Mobile for e-mail and I have to buy an AT & T branded Blackberry?

Yes, a BB data plan is a must.  I assumed that since you were talking about registering the device and had talked to a representative already you probably had the current plan.

The question of the spindle is a question that often comes up when you try to set up email on the appliances.

Glad that your question was just the data plan.  The pin version number can be much more difficult to solve.

Do you mean preloaded wallpapers screen or photos? I can never remember the clipart being preloaded on the BlackBerry, everything.

    Hi, welcome to the forums

You can use the Blackberry Desktop Software to upgrade your phone:

    1. Download ( here ) and install it.
    2. Connect your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer (Desktop software should start automatically if it has not already done), follow the on-screen instructions.
    3. It will then automatically check for updates that are available for your phone, simply follow the on-screen instructions.

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8900 curve

    Hello

I plan to buy a Smartphone. Still undecided between a Blackberry Curve 8900 and a Nokia E71X. I have a few questions:

    1. Not to mention that voice dialing, can I use my voice to other duties (provide GPS voice instructions to find an address, etc..)?
    2. When you use the desktop application, in addition to using the USB connection, I can connect the 8900 using Bluetooth or WiFi, for synchronization?
    3. The 8900 can be attached (using it as a wireless modem to connect my laptop to the Internet)?
    4. The home screen can be customized (can change icons, shortcuts, the list of applications, etc.)?
    5. The screen can change between Portrait and landscape?
    6. The GPS is a complete recommended standalone GPS, or it relies on wireless service (for example, ATT charges $10/month for the GPS service, called A - GPS)? What I mean is that I have to pay for this service, or can GPS works without him?
    7. What is the warranty for the 8900?
    8. Is the 3 8900?
    1. I'm not aware of the use of the voice to give GPS instructions. You can use voice dialing, which is where you can talk to the someone name in the address book and BlackBerry will call this number
    2. You can connect via Bluetooth and USb cable
    3. Yes. Although with some companies you need monthly extra payan to attach
      http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05196
    4. You can change the theme or download themes of the device to change the appearance of the icon. You can hide the icons that you don't want anymore.
    5. In my view, that this feature is available on the storm.
    6. You do not have to pay for the GPS. If you get a BlackBerry data plan then it comes with data unlimited, so you do not download charged to use the data. There are a few good GPS programs that offer turn-by-turn directions

    7. I believe it is a guarantee of 1 year, with a 30 days money back guarantee if you buy from your carrier

    8. I think that the device only connects to the EDGE network, not 3 G

  • Micro SD blackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry 8320 max capacity.

    Hello world!

I'm looking to upgrade the Micro SD 1 GB card in my BlackBerry Curve 8320 to allow several pieces of music to be stored. I want to know what is the biggest size card that will work in its model? I understand that it is dependant on the version of operating system. So I downloaded the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1), and it has offered to upgrade the OS on my phone. The version on the phone now is v4.5.0.174 (Platform 2.7.0.105). No doubt the 8320 cannot be upgraded to version 5. I saw this link:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05461

If I read correctly the information on this link, I can now with a 16 GB Micro SD card. Please can someone confirm this before you buy a 16 GB card?

    Thank you very much

    Alicia.
