BB10 - Disable touchstart/touchstart when scrolling

Hi all. It's me again. I can't try to get touchstart, touchstart and touchmove to work together.

strPendList += '
'; for(var i = 0; i < len; i++) { var pendRefNo = data.result[i].refno; var pendRequester = data.result[i].requestor; var pendDate= data.result[i].date; var pendAmount = data.result[i].amt; strPendList += '
'; strPendList += '
REF NO
'; strPendList += '
: '+pendRefNo+'
'; strPendList += '
REQUESTER :
'; strPendList += '
'+pendRequester+'
'; strPendList += '
DATE
'; strPendList += '
: '+pendDate+'
'; strPendList += '
AMOUNT :
'; strPendList += '
'+pendAmount+'
'; strPendList += '
';//end of pendClaimDisplay } strPendList += '
';//end of pendingContainer $('#content').html(strPendList);

Data.Result is extracted from web services and must be used to generate a listing (pendClaimDislay). The problem I have is when I try to scroll, touchstart will be drawn and by calling the function getQClaimParticulars instead of scrolling up and down the list.

strPendList += '
';

I tried to use onmouseover to replace ontouchstart but the selected list do not get highlighted.

Is anyway to scroll without pulling touchstart and touchstart too early?

touchstart should draw only * after * the user ends the scroll.

I came in some situations where I don't want to trigger an action on touchstart, if the user scrolls. In these cases, I do something like so (pseudocode):

ontouchstart: set scroll flag to false.

ontouchmove: set scroll flag to true.

ontouchend: if scroll flag is still false, execute some function.

In this way, a touchmove will prevent a touchstart action does not happen.

    When scrolling, a small scrollbox appears randomly and that he's taking me away from the page I'm scrolling on.  This happens when I use the small plate square to scroll.  It's the only 'function' most irritating of any computer I have ever owned or used, and I wish I could turn it off.  How to do that please?

    Hi Taxlady:

    I found the solution myself.  You have to start HP Support Assistant and choose the resolution of problems (the second of the four options, my copy is in Swedish so it may not be called Problem Solving but something similar).  Then choose the devices, one on the middle of the bottom row and the following Configuration for mouse and .  Here, you will get a new window with a menu five point on the left.  These elements will be something like:

    Overview, scroll, Point, buttons and other things I don't even understand Swedish for!

    Choose scrolling, and down there, you have a finger to scroll.  Disable horizontal and vertical scrolling, and your problems are over.

    musgoodw, the best advice I can do is just play with the settings of '' mouse. ''  Just type mouse into the start menu.
    By default, a Synaptics touchpad has a vertical scroll box to the right of the touchpad. Some versions of pilot also (default) enable the horizontal scroll down box.
    Both can be changed to enabled, amount of space used, where they are, speed of scrolling and much more in the config of Synaptics.  You would be pleasantly surprised how you can set one up.  ;)

  • Auto disable Synaptics Touchpad when USB mouse is connected

    Hello

    Someone at - it an idea how to move again the function "Auto Disable Synaptics Touchpad when USB mouse is connected.  I found an old entry in a forum that referenced changing a setting in the registry hex 33, and implied that this would make the OPTION become visible in the mouse settings in the control panel.  But it just seems to disable the touchpad while. So I guess that Synaptics have changed things since this 'solution' was published in 2009, I think. .

    I have W7 XPS and version 15.3.22.0 for Synaptics Touchpad driver.

    See you soon

    K.

    SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED!

    All - I read through it and many forums and have found no solution. I thought of it on my own, so I'm happy to share with you!

    This solution applies to those who do not have a touchpad disable button F button at the top of your keyboard and have the Synaptics driver which does not show the option to disable the touchpad when the external device is present. This also applies to those where the registry key update does not work (because it didn't for me).

    Here is the solution.

    1. go to the Dell site and get the latest driver for your touchpad. Install it.

    2. Once installed, go into c:\program files\synaptics\syntp in your windows Explorer.

    3. open the program called DellTpad.exe (there is also a DellTouchpad.exe called - do not use this one)

    4. Once opened, click on device settings.

    5 and here the old box is down! Just click to make it active and it works like a charm.

  • disable the touchpad when using the mouse?

    How to disable the touchpad when using the mouse?

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

    Most laptops have a function key (FN) which can be used in combination with other keys for example FN + F2 or FN + F7 to disable or enable the touchpad.

    You can also disable the touchpad in Device Manager.

    To disable the touchpad in Device Manager, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start.
    2. In the start search box type devmgmt.msc, and then on enter.
    3. In Device Manager, expand mice and other pointing devices and locate the touchpad.
    4. Right click on the touchpad and click on the disable option.

    Following the steps above should help you disable the touchpad.

    There is a strange white space that covers half the screen.

    Please see the attached attached off screen

    Look like browserField2 not 120 Hz content when scrolling. How to solve the problem? Help, please.

    BlackBerry OS: 5.0

    Problem has been resolved.

    Sorry the question was realted to zoom, zoom rather than scroll

    When the user presses DOUBLE_TAP or Double click to zoom in, zoom back the contents of the browser field and if the user is in middile of browserField rather than at the top. white space will automatically appear below the content.

    I solved the problem by substituting the screen method touchEvent (TouchEvent)

    and if the user is not on the top then by verticalScroll zero adjustment.

    If (te.getGesture () .getEvent () == TouchGesture.DOUBLE_TAP) {}

    If (_bf2.getManager ()! = null & _bf2.getManager () .getVerticalScroll () > 0)

    {
    _bf2.getManager () .setVerticalScroll (0);
    }

    }
