Firefox 5: distortion when scrolling on web pages. appearance Wavey

There is distortion when scrolling on all webpages using Firefox 5. It doesn't matter how fast or slow scrolling, screen becomes wavey to stop scrolling. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and did not help. This happens not using Safari or in documents or spreadsheets open outside of the Firefox browser.

Its best to take a Screenshot of your toolbars before you run the following suggestion.

Launch Firefox in Mode safe mode by holding the SHIFT key while starting Firefox-> window Mode safe if poster-> place checkmark on the 2nd option "Reset Toolbars and of orders"-> click "make changes and restart".

Check and tell if its working.

  • Why Firefox displays no more .php suffix web pages which are in my Mac?

I have a question about Firefox 14.0.1 display web page suffix .php files that are in a Mac running OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. In versions of Mac OS, for example 10.4.7, hospital I could see files of web page correctly displayed with .html and .php suffixes when these web page files were in my computer. I am referring to the page appears as it should display properly, you see is not the source code. If a page has a .php suffix, the browser displays the page correctly although all php scripts that are embedded in this page have been ignored.

Occasionallly Apple updated its browsers makers occasionally to update the operating system and browser. One day, I noticed that Safari is no longer displayed webpage in my Mac files if these pages have a .php suffix. However, Firefox and other browsers have continued to display the web page with suffixes .php files embedded php scripts have been ignored.

Now I Mountain Lion in the iMac.

I see no longer web page of suffix .php files in my regarless of the computer of the browser I use. No browser shows pages.

A web page of suffix .php file that Firefox and other browsers appear in 10.4.7 does not 10.8 display if this web page file is located in the computer.

In my computer, I have html and php web page suffix files I want to see a browser. The files that I want to see and the browser, both are in my computer. Html files display perfectly with one exception: If the php scripts are embedded in html files, scripts are ignored. A file name that ends with ".php" will not be displayed little matter that there's a php script in the file. Safari displays the source code only. Chrome does not display the file. Firefox and SeaMonkey, which now displays web page of suffix .php files in earlier versions of the Mac OSm meet these pages by providing a dialog box that seems to assume that the file is about to be downloaded on the Internet. The dialog box wonder if I want to use the browser to open the file, or if I want to record on the disc. The file on the disc is at the same time, and the computer is disconnected from the Internet. I click I want to use the browser to open the file. Then the dialong box opens again the same question. This happens again and again. I never get to see a web page file in my computer whose name ends with ".php". With Firefox 14.0.1, I can see .php suffix of webpages on the Internet or in a Mac 10.4.7 but not in a Mac 10.8. I don't have Firefox miconfigure? It seems unlikely that Firefox has lost the ability to display pages in Mac OS 10.8 that appears in ' 10.4.7. How can I solve this problem of displaying web page?

Thank you for your quick response, Ideato. Now, I think that the problem is not a browser issue but a Mac. Although Mac OS 10.8 is much better than 10.4.7 generally, it's worse for the .php suffix file display. There is an online article which solved my problem: "how to enable and configure Apache / PHP support for OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion." July 29, 2012; by Henry Haneez. There are two solutions that Haroon mentions. One is to download and install the latest php, which comes with a web server. The other, which is easier and Haroon explains in detail, is to turn on the server web apache in Cougar and allow the loading of the php module that comes with the Mountain Lion. This module is not as recent just latest whoich of php from php.net.

  • Firefox still crashing when I open Facebook page.

Firefox still crashing when I open Facebook page and crash that appear just after the report is in Greek (?!) I have an English version of Firefox.

    Hey Pacovilla,.

Do you by chance have the LastPass Manager as an add-on of Firefox?
(You can click the icon settings at the top right and choose Add ons).

If you do, try to disable it, or from Firefox with no Add-ons to see if it works.

This add-on seems to cause problems with Facebook on Firefox.

Update of Firefox, and now all of the web pages and icons are inflated. How do I put back it as it was?

    Hello

Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can make the biggest text on screens at high resolution.
You can adjust the resolution of your screen.
To change it follow these steps:

    • Type of topic: config in the Firefox address bar and hit the Enter key.
    • If the warning that this might void your warranty , click I'll be careful, I promised.
    • Search for layout.css.devPixelsPerPx

    • Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to edit its value. The default value is - 1.0 in Firefox 22 and above. Change it to 1.0 to run as in previous versions of Firefox.

If necessary, further adjust the value of 0.1 or 0.05. Values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the elements. Use a value greater than 1.0 to increase the size. For example, a value of 1.25 will increase the font size of the 125% to account for the default DPI setting in Windows 8. Check the value that you enter. Definition of a value that is too small will take everything away and too high will explode things.

If the web pages should always be adjusted so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint .

To adjust the font size for the user interface, you can use the extension of theme font & size changer .

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

    Thank you.

  • Firefox 20.0.1 with Shockwave 11.7.700.169 crashes when you access web pages with video content

I have a problem with Firefox 20.0.1 on Windows 7 with Shockwave flash 11.7.700.169. When I have access to a web site / web page with content that requires Shockwave (usually video) I can view the video, however, when I get out of Firefox, it will crash with "Firefox has encountered a problem - check for a solution...". ». I also have a website 'MyHeritage' that when I go to a family tree, I repeatedly receive a message "video driver has stopped working - NVIDIA driver... has successfully recovered. If I disable Shockwave, Firefox will not crash in both cases, unfortunately, I can't watch any video content.
I did go through the website of Adobe and put to day what I thought was my version of Shockwave, unfortunately that Manager for netscape V12.2 installed, I have disabled this plugin.
BTW - run Firefox in SafeMode (disabled add-on) arrested my NVIDIA driver crashing and also arrested Firefox crashing by exiting the application.

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date by using the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you are there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions.
If you see in the list of plugins that have a yellow button to update or a red button update now , please put to update these immediately.

To do this, click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps in the installation process.

  • Script error when printing a web page

Cannot print web page on attached USB printer.  Results in a script error message.  Using a HP Officejet Pro 8500 first running on a Windows 7 64-bit system.  I am able to print the web page if I choose a network printer.

I mainly use Internet Explorer.  I am currently using v9.0.8112.16421.  I used to have this problem, and it is possible that it started after I upgraded from v8 to v9.  As you suggest, I have tried with Firefox v13.0.1 and it gave me an error message about a script error, but it also printed the page.  I also tried with Chrome v20.0.1132.47 m and it printed without any problems at all.  As I said, I have my printer via the USB port and network and am also able to print from explore with no script error if I use the accessory network instead of the attachment of the USB.  When I use the accessory USB it gives me the script error and will not print.  It is said that there is no connection for this connection ID and it shows a URL of type res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

  • When printing a web page using Internet Explorer, the printed document is a mirror image.

I have HP Officejet Pro L7780 and Windows 7 64-bit operating system. When I print a page of a Web site that is in PDF using Internet Explorer, the printed page is a mirror image.  If I print the same page of Firefox, the page prints fine.

Also, I recently put my husbands computer so he could also print to this printer via the network.  When I printed an email on my printer from a computer, it is also printed as a mirror image.

I assumed that you helped the mny users, that's why I waited long before I asked again.  Thank you.  I assigned added another printer driver using your instructions.  It worked.  I'm now able to print correctly.  Thank you!

  • Auto scroll a web page that you can see your scene

Sorry for all the questions of beginners and if this has been answered before.  Things are progressing well with my project. I met an annoying problem.

    1. my scene size is 800 x 670 mm. There is a button at the top of the scene that plays the animation. This project ('step') is left/right, centered and inserted into a web page about existing 550px or down on the page. When loading the page in the browser you can see the button and the top 150-200 px of the scene. The problem is if you click on the button at the top of the scene of the animation time but you do not see most of it unless you manually scroll down the page until you see the entire scene.  My question is, is it possible I can trigger a "auto scroll" in the browser to center the 'scene' vertically before you start playing?

    2. more than scrolling... on another problem of scrolling, I was able to get scroll bars appear in my pop-up box of animated text, but they are big and bulky compared to the rest of the project. Is it possible to install ONBOARD custom scroll bars?

    Thank you

    Joel

I found a couple of different solutions, but the one that works best has been

    $('html,body').animate ({scrollTop: $("#edgeWrapper").offset () .top}, 500);

    SYM. Play (Start);

In addition to my click to play text/button on my stage for edge and where "edgeWrapper" was a div wrapper of my edge animation div in the Web page.
