• BBM BBM setting on new Blackberry 9720

  Hi all

  I've updated my old Blackberry "BOLD" to a 9720 a couple of days and experiencing problems get BBM to work.  Initially, I had problems with email and BBM surveys and found that Vodafone had not added Blackberry Internet Services to my new plan, this has been resolved yesterday and this morning I could put my good emails but still experiences a problem with BBM.

  When I go in BBM, either the facility or the usual BBM icon, I get a screen that says welcome in Blackberry Messenger and invites me to enter a display name, I can then click OK or click on a link to restore the list of contacts.  No matter which of these options I take I have nowhere - if I click on the OK button it tells me to do this without restore contrcts but if I chose to restore or move forward without making of I just end up back on the first screen with nothing happening, if I click to restore Contacts he invites me to do this but still nothing happens and I end up right back on the first screen again.  I've been going round in circles with this for the last 10 minutes or so and have finally given the place and wondered if anyone had any idea of what the question was.

  Please take a look at your main Options > BlackBerryID.

  Your BBID came there with correct details, etc. ?

• Cannot run example of BBM (SDK) 1.1

  I installed BBM SDK 1.1 following the instuctions to RIM.  Everything seems to work very well.  I can add sim1, sim2 and vice versa and continue a conversation between them about bbm.  But when I try to install and run the example BBMSDKDemo to eclipse one of the simulators running, nothing happens.  The sample is never installed or run.  I use a sample of compiled 5.0 5.0 simulators.  Windows 7 64 bit with 32-bit versions appropriate etc. JRE/jdk java.

  How can I get a bbm app to install and run on simulators.

  So that the simulator that launches eclipse set up with your active BBM set upward, you must add settings in you sim1 or sim2 .bat file in the found in the debug command line-> Configurations Debug-> Simulator-> advanced and select the option custom values exist somewhere in the middle of this Panel. Use the .bat file left to run the simulator of the target.

  And YES, these are the steps I wanted to know.

  After the recent update, when I run the app, it just says: setting up polls bbm, but nothing comes.

  Please what do I do?

  Someone had check me on their BlackBerry and my PIN is always associated with my old passport and had not been transformed into BBM Android.

  If anything that I have not thought to let me know and I'll try it.

  Left the Android phone "BBM switching" during the night and in the morning, it worked.  Looks like a problem with the services associated with the power did not run on the back-end.  Fixed now.

• BBM BBM stuck at "Setting up BBM surveys"

  I just bought a new 9320 curve, but cannot set up Blackberry Messenger. It is stuck at "Implementation of BBM surveys" with a continuous rotation in front of her loading icon.

  I tried to reinstall the Messenger and restart the phone, but the problem persists.

  A standard network Internet plan will not work. You need a specific plan of BlackBerry data. Wind of appeal and they can get you properly set up.

• BBM HELP! BBM STUCK ON SETTING UP SCREEN BLUE FOR DAYS!

  My bbm display picture did not change for a few days that neither were some of the messages delivered, so I deleted and reinstalled. Since then, all I could do was agree to the terms and conditions and then a blue screen comes up with either "bbm implementation", "Error connecting to the server", or "bbm initialization." It was so frustrating for me because it persisted for three days. I deleted and reinstalled bbm severally, out my battery many times and connected to Wifi in addition to my subscription blackberry.

  Please advise what can I do else.

  Hey my 9900 went recently for repair and they told me tht they will replace the phone cuz its under warranty so the motherboard is damaged! I wanted to know if they cn replace the WD one phne z10 cuz it costs the same lower infact actually 2000 inr? THT is possible?

  I don't think that the device will be replaced by other model wherever you buy...

  Like I said for BlackBerry devices, it will be a plan to get subscribed to BBM, setting up accounts, mail & navigation... with regard to devices running the operating system 7 (up to BB9900), there are a lot of BB for all devices on all carriers... But for the Z10 Q10 Q5 (operate devices OS10) still nobody has presented BlackBerry package for her except BSNL and Airtel. Please follow the link below...

  Your tablet doesn't have a GPS inside, and the authors of the applications you mentioned said the store Play to allow only the program go to devices with this chip.

  There is a solution called 'APK Extraction' or 'side loading' app.

  Extraction of the APK is not officially approved by HP. If an application is not available in a specific area which is a restriction that the developer has put on the application. Such a restriction could be due to the licensing of content.

  There are two main steps in order to extract the APK-

  (1) extract the application of another Android device, or download the APK file directly. If you download the APK file also, please be very confident of the Web site. Because you will be "forcing" the application to install and don't not download through Google, it is possible the application has been infected by malware or otherwise damaged.

  To perform step 1, first install the application on another Android device, and also to install an "APK Extractor" application. (there are several to choose from and available for free in the game of Google store).
  Once the application is extracted, copy the file to a MicroSD card, or use another means of transfer for example transfer or by e-mail.

  Insert the MicroSD card into your 7 Slate, or download the file.
  You may need to install a file browser to locate the file on your tab 7. These are also available in the store from game Google free.

  You must change a setting of security on your tab 7; Click settings, security and place a check in "unknown Sources allow installation of applications from unknown sources. You will get a warning about the potential of malicious software by changing this setting.

  Once the security setting has been changed, find the APK file and simply "click" on it to open it. It will install everything as it was downloading from the game store.

  I will state some things well-
  (1) this process is not approved by HP. I am a volunteer here and not an official representative of HP.
  (2) If a request is blocked in your area, then installation can cause problems or even violate certain laws or license.
  (3) download an APK on a suspicious Web site could introduce viruses/spyware/malware or other undesirable behaviors. Do not download APKs for files that are not free Google game like this would be piracy.
  (4) installation of an APK that "requires" GPS may not work fully, although in many cases, you can manually enter in your location and it will work.

  I am fairly new here and on blackberry phones. I use bbm on my Nexus4 for a while now and bought a Blackberry Torch used to use with BBM 9810. My problem is that whenever I set up BBM it is stuck on "setting up BBM. I looked on the internet and tried everything I could to restore to the factory settings, update to the latest BBM, password changing to include letters, letters below, numbers and symbols, but nothing seems to work.

  Does anyone has this problem after doing all this (the forums more some of the thigs above seem to work, but not for me).

  Any information would be appreciated.

  A plan of BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) - is a dedicaed to plan special data for legacy devices BlackBerry (Running OS 7 and earlier versions). You must have a BIS plan to be able to communicate and have access to the BlackBerry Services as Emial, BBM, BlackBerry Protect messaging Apps etc.

  Regular data plan or WiFi does not work. I suggest that you contact your network provider, they can help you with this question.

  Is it possible to delete individual messages to chat BBM, without having to remove all the conversations from the setting?

  I don't know your scenario, but if you followed with the latest BBM there is now the possibility to define a BBM message to show for only a limited amount of time.  Otherwise, you cannot delete an individual message in a chat, just close the cat.

• BBM quiet disappointing experience so far

  I got the email on the morning of the BBM I was a registered user and I can download and start using BBM for Android.

  I downloaded the app and used my e-mail id registered to start the configuration where it took me to the login page.

  I tried to sign up for an account and post registration, it got stuck on 'Setting up BBM' and sometimes it's "temporary server error".

  Finally I got another mail of the BBM to check my email id message record, but the BBM app was still stuck on 'Setting up BBM' so I had to once more "Claire Application Data" to maintaining connection with my verified references.

  Now, when I'm in the same e-mail id to the home screen, it says that I am not registered and gives me the screen "Holding your place in line.

  In fact, it's so stupid and frustrating...

  Finally got it working, and here are my comments from the application:

  The installer took some time to download the application to actually be able to use it.

  But now that it's done, have been exploring it for 2 hours.

  The user interface looks pretty clean, has the standard color BB set.

  The application itself is good enough to use. You can quickly add a contact, exist slides of the menus to access the menu options.

  I still have to test the application by sending of attachments.

  A bug I found was everything by changing my profile picture.

  While you select an image from the Gallery, she won a different image than what I had actually chosen.

  But otherwise, overall, it's a nice app and if BB is able to overcome the glitches, it is here to stay on Android.

• 9720 BBM BBM & Email surveys do not work more than a week now and EE are useless now passed to their level 3

  Please help - I have a blackberry 9720 and was happy with T-mobile on December 31, 2015, T-mobile sent me a text with my PAC code, I stupidly had another phone under contract elsewhere, I do not have with the new phone has so cancelled the contract and returned the phone within 3 days, my T-mobile Blackberry services were always - so I waited for the CIP code to recover my phone number.     However on December 7, T-mobile blackberry services cut off, I immediately called them and explained the situation, asking to be reconnected.  I was told that I have to go buy a new sim card and they will sort it.  I did so, but now only EE available sims.  I called and they assured me Blackberry data package added to my phone - but nothing works and the host Routing Table is empty.  So for the past 8 days, told me to connect the phone to Blackberry Desktop manager, uninstall, reinstall, 100's of reboots, 100 registry routing host messages sent but STILL NOTHING, I was able to get into my Blackberry ID, but emails say cannot connect to the server and BBM remains on a blue screen.  It is so annoying as 8 days now of mucking around but still no access to Blackberry services.  EE say everything is OK from their end, but they can't pick up my blackberry, they tried to say lack of phone but phone was purchased from T-mobile, and up to 7 December worked perfectly.  Friends and family have put their sim in and phone and blackberry works. The spindle is* edited for the protection of personal information.  They refuse to reactivate the SIM that I still have and say what EA is the same as T-mobile, although their packages say different.

  I checked the PIN you provided and it shows a disabled.

  Given that this is the case, you will need to ask your wireless provider to set you up a wireless data plan, make sure you can send you a test PIN message that must confirm the data connection.

  When you talk with your wireless provider to ask them to check your APN settings as well.

  Check that the pins you go along are tiny.  I tried some of my old code example below, and it worked fine if I used all of the tiny pins.  If I had letters, I saw the behavior you mentioned.
