• Why the drop shadow options change all layers not only the photo im working on?

  I have a poster with different layers, like text, photo, etc.  I have inserted a new photo and make a shadow, changing the size, spread and distance, but when I change some of these options as the angle or distance all the layers on the poster who shadows behind all the changes that I chose for the inserted picture.  I reproduced just the photo layer to use a drop shadow (using only the option of distance), then it changed all the text on the poster with her.  ??? None of the layers are related to each other.

  Only the angle of the drop shadows can be (and are by default) linked together. To enable or disable this feature use the check box use Global light right next to the Angle selector

  Unfortunately there is no way to change the name of an application without rooting your phone.  Each application developer has the right to name what they choose, and you're stuck with it.  I would love the ability to change the names of app too but this isn't an option at the moment

  Can someone tell me the property node that would allow me to change the name of 'Group 0' programmatically in the legend below?  I have searched through all mixed methods graphic Signal and nodes of property with no luck and should just be overlooking it.

  Hello Electromecha,

  Unfortunately, there is not a property node associated with the name "Group" in the legend. Several others have made that suggestion over the years. I recommend kudoing the idea in the IdeaExchange.

• Group addresses not added when sending of e-mail - name of group only

  Just helping a friend use Thunderbird on a new PC with Win 7 Prof Previously used Outlook Express on Win XP.

  Downloaded latest version of Thunderbird. Old as any wab file suggested using "morefunctionsfor...". ». The old address book (full) has been imported correctly a new Thunderbird addressbook. It contained several groups. Each one is properly listed under the new address book, and they also appear in the new address book. By clicking on any group correctly displays the list of addresses for this group.

  However, if one selects a group and send an e-mail to this group ONLY the group name is displayed in the field and the email fails to send. Looking at the contents of the address field shows only the name of the Group and NOT addresses are included.

  I just discovered by accident how to circumvent the problem of group.

  1. open Thunderbird AddressBook;
  2. Select the desired group;
  3. click on the button "Write" address book.

  This will open a message window with all members of the group listed as beneficiaries.

Then, the text shows correctly and the movements of folder or a file in a place open to the top left of the screen. Before using "Refresh" the folder or the file will not open. When I save a file on the desktop is not visible until the 'Refresh' is used. Sometimes, but not always the same behavior occurs in other folders as well.  I use Win XP SP3. Can someone please shed some light on this?

  1. If it is the domain controller, you cannot change the name of the computer by selecting network ID and this is normal.
  2. If it is a member of the computer in domain or workgroup, you don't have permission to change the name of the computer.

  I'm doing a simple import of photos using the option 'Import pictures and videos using Windows' native Autoplay.

  In Windows XP, I could choose what images to import and give them all the basic name custom during the import process, with each photo added later with a "001", "002" etc using the scanner and Camera Wizard.  It is very convenient because it could have been hundreds of photos on some of my cards from a long period of shots, I could run the tool more than once for different groups of photos that I would choose Import, and the pictures would be get named sequentially and stored in their files you want immediately.  I imported thousands of photos in this way.

  This new tool for Windows 7 allows me to add tags to all of the photos on the cards and devices and name photos after their date, or on the label, or other combinations of that... but why doesn't this new tool in Windows 7 suppose I want to import every single photo on the card device / I just connect and more that I want them all to have the same tag assigned to them?  It's stupid and useless - there, makes only has pictures of a theme on their card at any time that they connect to import their photos and always wants to import everything each time?

  To illustrate this point, let's look at my current situation.  I'm just on vacation in Europe and took pictures to more than one place, I visited, of course and now I would like to mark photos with the location of the names individually... or even more, I would like to actually name photos when importing with the name of the place in the picture.  Scanner and digital camera Assistant & would do that, no problem - you just had to run the tool once for each different group name, then select the appropriate images to import with the same group name.  It has been easy.  This type of naming is far superior to the addition of tags to images named simple-list or date-wise because you can tell what the image file in your library that you want to open just by going to (or get) the group name.  Want to see pictures of St. Peter's Basilica?  If you named the photos with that (added with 001, 002 etc), then simply browse to that name in your folder of photos «The Italy, holiday 2010»  Without trying to find photos Tags into the sea by the name of "IMG20100324005" - soup and no program Photo Gallery Windows Live Photos or necessary Picasa.

  This new program in Windows 7 for the import of images does not appear to be able to handle the very handy feature of its predecessor Windows XP.  It's very frustrating to have opted for the version of Windows newer and supposed to be 'better' but find several programs that have been very useful for XP have valuable features removed or are no longer present at all (like how Windows 7 is no longer a Clipboard Viewer - that has great idea that is?).

  So is it possible to recover the image import feature I apparently lost by 'redevelopment' of Windows Windows 7?  I could of course go and buy an image import and edition program (Smart Photo Import very nice for the price, a quick search I just do), but as this feature was native in Windows XP it is still stupid to have to buy a 3rd party simply program now because Microsoft does not understand the idea of keeping popular features in their software and seems rather "he dumb down.

  Any help to select the pictures I want to import and naming them when importing with a custom group name using the import wizard would be greatly appreciated... + 10 GB of photos and videos of this trip is sitting & waiting for a solution!

  I'll assume that you are referring to the avatar of group that displays at the top left of the screen to group chat.

  Yes.  There are several ways to do it, it's more easy for me.

  Open the group or the group chat.  Tap the avatar - this brings you to the info of the group.  Tap the avatar again.  This brings you to a screen where you can select the default icons or click 'Add an image' on the bottom bar. This will bring you to the photos app where you can choose from one of your images as when you add a photo to a contact.

  Note that if you are a group administrator, you will change the avatar for everyone in the group.  If you are not an administrator, you can always change the avatar, but the change will be visible only to you.

  I found it very convenient when I am in two different groups with avatars that are too similar, and made a comment in the wrong group.  I changed the two (at my end) to be radically different.  No more problems.

• Not possible to change file name

  In LR 5.7, I have a group of images .jpg of another photographer and am unable to change file name. I get the message: "some pictures will not be renamed because they are absent or not accessible in writing." All of these images are present in the correct folder on my mac.

  I went to individual within the folder of image files, and those who showed that I had only read permission. I could then change to read & write and file name change allowed.

  I'm building a custom ICF connector that is implemented as a set of .net. Operations UpdateChildTableValues for add and update on the groups pass the group name in the code, but the deletion does not. Seems not be an indication of the operation itself, for groups seems that the developer must manage memberships to a target group in the code, which is good. However, if a deletion does not send the name of the group, how can I know which group still look? It seems that this method also adds the load of API calls against IOM to identify the assignment to a group of the user as well as the search for targets to compare and decide which has been deleted.

  You have 2 options when working with children tables:

  (1) use ICProvisioningManager #updateChildTableValues - this provides a list of the values after the update, so we'll say so that the attribute has values group1, group2, group 3, remove group1, then UpdateOp #update with the attribute values Group2, GROUP3 will be called on your connector (in this case your connector should implement UpdateOp). You're right, it could mean additional targets API call in your connector (depending on the target).

  (2) use ICProvisioningManager #addChildTableValue, ICProvisioningManager #updateChildTableValue, ICProvisioningManager #removeChildTableValue - when you use these methods, the connector will get changes only. Previous UpdateAttributeValuesOp #removeAttributeValues with the value group1 in the example would be called on your connector. You connector must implement UpdateAttributeValuesOp to make it work.

• Ink advantage 2545: changed the name of the wireless router and now ink advantage 2545 does not connect and I'm out of ideas

  I have a Toshiba laptop 64 bit running Windows 10 Home, 8 GB, 1 t hard drive.

  Router is a Samsung phone using Android because it was the only router that I could find which would take the wireless signal.

  I live very pastoral, no neighbours for miles, so I never saw the need for a password on my router.

  Now, some people are installs in less than 400 feet from me, and I think they're piggybacking on my Wifi because my access speed has slowed considerably since they moved in.

  So I decided to change the password of the router, unfortunately, I can not put in any password I want.  It gives me the opportunity to have a predefined password.  So I changed the name of the router I could do without problem.

  My computer very quickly without any problem, however, my printer which worked great for a year with the old router name does not connect on the new name of the router.

  Here is what I tried:

  I had hoped he would ask me for a new name / password, but it did not.

  Then I plugged a cable between the printer and the laptop in the hopes that it would produce a different kind of results.  It has not changed anything.  There is no screen menu on what that be like this on the printer.

  I pressed the wireless button that has the flashing blue light and nothing happened.

  I pressed the button, don't know what it is, but it has a white light, and nothing happened.

  I went on the HP site and followed the instructions but he just said do not connect the cable until told to do so.  So I disconnected everything, lights out and turned back on and still no connection and no invite to plug whatever it is.

• I have created bookmarks and change their names but now during import its not to recognize as backfile of firefox

  I always take a backup of what I save as a bookmark in a week.
  due to a problem, I had to upgrade my PC. and now after installing the latest version of Firefox, I tried to import the json file, but it is not recognize. After taking backup, I changed the name, the name of it.
  bookmarks are very important to get something expensive.

  (1) open this file with firefox
  
  (2) copy the content of firefox
  (3) then open Notepad
  (4) Paste
  (5) save the file with anyname.json and replace saveas type all files
  (6) and then import it through bookmark (show all bookmarks-> import)
