• Firewall of blackBerry Smartphones and COMPUTER policy

  I have a frustrating problem with a pair or Torches, we test some software that develops for us. The problem I have is that I get the following message is displayed.

  "The application * has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your policy."

  The problem is when I look under security settings and policy there is 'no service '. I tried many other corrections including online return service directories and a few others, but none solved the problem.

  Can someone please tell me how to get around this firewall / COMPUTER policy number?

  has worked well...

  until the 5.0 update...

  now it does not work yet, and this key is no more.

  Of course, there are internet and there are no active firewall or any application that might block this traffic, no proxy settings, routing of questions etc...

  There must be the answer to this question... I know that I'm not the only person having this problem.

  You only need to connect onve, and then you meet the demand.

  I ran twice and I can't logically explain why it occurs.

  On first installation I finally have the PC connected directly to the cable modem, after disabling the firewall software.

  It took about 6 hours with Kapersky to ensure that he did not get infected. It was a friends DM 4.5

  The second was total frustration with version 4.7. On my network.

  I, like you, have the routers and firewalls in front of the cable router if I had a packet sniffer, it would have been easier to trace.

  I reasoned that the PC and applications like explore and Outlook can access internet with out fail.

  I then followed the gateway IP address for my PC.

  In Windows click on start, then run, then type 'cmd' and press ENTER to open a DOS window.
  -In this window type "ipconfig" and press ENTER.
  -L' display the IP Ethernet the subpattern options, etc..  'Default gateway' is what you need.

  -Copy the IP address of the default gateway.

  Then, I started the Blackberry device manager and open the properties Blackberry icon in the systray.

  I was trying to see if I could find what the Office Manager was trying to access, or at least which way he wanted to.

  I found the Blackberry router configuration tab. Click at the bottom right "activate the bindings defined by the user.

  So basically, you can provide a route to bypass "static route. I entered my gateway address default PC, hit apply and OK.

  I did a cold start system, began the DM and he never moans, simply press on the internet and I couldn't access to the

  synchronization options. It worked without changing the settings of firewall or a router. I deliberately left it in place that that

  The worst that can happen is it doesn't work and close down more away, the best that happens is that you logged.

  I recommend you do a program of "sniffer". This is the one suggested by Blackberry in the KB article

  Is it possible to do this is to use a PIM on the PC to manage information and configure a USB attached sync to keep the BB and desktop in sync PIM.

I would like to know if I can connect my BB to my laptop (by cable or BlueTooth) and then browse the internet from my laptop. If so, how can we do that? If not, is it possible to do something that to happen?

  Yes, you can do both way since you have a data plan with BB...

  If it's via bluetooth... juice ' pair your device with the computer & then create a dial selecting the bluetooth modem as the modem by default... it could ask you the number of remote access, the user name & password when creating... you should get the info from your ISP if applicable...

  If it's a cable you can simply download & install office from this link blakberry Manager & then connect the phone, select mobile internet in the software... then configure & connect.

  Hi my wife and I have recently received new Blacberry Bold phones. Our problem is we can't all both receive emails, it put us e-mails on a device at a time. Whenever we get a message saying only that the two devices are registered on the same Blackberry ID, we can get emails to two phones that seems crazy. Does anyone know a simple way around this?

  Can you sign up for an ID separated on a BlackBerry?  You try to use the same e-mail address on both devices?

  Your main Inbox will collect e-mail from all e-mail accounts, by design

  You can delete the BES mail in the main file to its own folder separated by a change on the BES.

  Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  As a general rule, when you configure an e-mail @BB address by your carrier for your BB, the only place where they are available is on the BB itself... no web interface for access to substitution. Because BB is so good with most all Internet messaging services, I never actually saw any reason to create a @BB for a BB email address.

  Two problems, no idea if they are related or not. I had a Curve 9300 for 18 months - no major problems.

  (1) this evening it all of a sudden all messages deleted more than a few days old f. It is used to transport e-mail maybe 3-4 weeks. No idea why. It happened all of a sudden.

  (2) I've been sync using BB desktop between appliance and MS Outlook 2010 for 18 months. Synchronization suddenly a few months ago tried to delete all the old entries calendar on my computer. I worked hard that by putting the synchronization of calendar configuration "mode 2", 'All the entries in the calendar' with a filter defined on synchronize start dates after 01/01/2013. It worked. But all of a sudden tonight trying to remove almost 100 entries of (recent) Agenda of my computer.

  Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance...

  It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

  Once you install the Desktop software, you will see the options for the synchronization of the organiser, who set up and you will be fine... depending on what software the calendar on your laptop computer is located.

  In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).
