  When I plug my Blackberry on my computer with the USB cord, my Blackberry says: "current USB support is not enough.  Check that your Pocket PC is connected to a powered USB charge source and that the appropriate USB driver is installed. »

  I tried to uninstall the software from my computer and reinstall the driver.  I can't make it work.  My USB port is a 2.0 - and I can charge my iPod by the same way, so I don't know what the problem is.

  I received the same message of Whatsapp to download the latest version on Friday.  I tried 4 times.  I got stuck about 1000 KB in download of 7000 kb.  Something about the BRI... I contacted Whatsapp.  They me sent instructions to go to the site that you suggested.  Yes, I did.  I could not download the latest version.  WhatsApp then told me to uninstall Whatsapp and they provided instructions written for me.  I followed these instructions and then tried to re - install Whatsapp.   I have been unsuccessful.  I then noticed Saturday that my entire directory has been removed.

  Nothing more.  As I use Google Chrome, I don't think I could back up my directory and didn't know that Blackberry stores no data on my Sim Card.  I went to my Service Provider shop and they quickly downloaded Whatsapp on a different site, not that proposed by Whatsapp.  They did not however my directory which has about 1 100 contacts.  I then went to the center of Technical Service and all talking with a technician, a woman came and told me she heard my conversation and she was there for the same problem.  Unable to download Whatsapp, Whatsapp uninstalling and the disappearance of his repertoire.  It would therefore appear to be 2 problems... that Whatsapp is capable of shooting one's entire repertoire, and the BB is not able to get something like a directory.  Today, my provider told me that they are not able to help find my repertoire and that they keep in their servers.   They suggested that I join this forum, what I did as a first timer.   Your thoughts?

  I tried all sorts of things on the web, and d/l would have some '.jar' file applications based on a site that said they worked on the BB Storm 9350... but I do not understand how to install...

  I tried to drag and drop the on the memory card (where the PC shows that copying them), but then there is nothing to install or to set up on the BB... and when I re - connect the device to the computer and watch the card mem even once, are are no longer there...

  These types of applications DO not work even on the 9530?  If then... is a supposed d/l and install correctly?

  Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  The best way (IMO) to install applications to the storm (or any BB, for that matter) is via the web browser of storm or the complementary application of BB App Center. If you use the browser and click the link to provider's Setup, the storm it automatically detects and install independent it... No. don't download, no copy of the device (which, btw, is generally ineffective).

  App-Centre (from RIM) has a lot of applications... the App Center installs on the storm, and again only on the storm, allows to browse, select, and install applications.

  Some things can indeed be installed from your PC... but that means the DM Software (he came on a CD with your storm) and use it to install... I, personally, never had a need to make all facilities in this way. (Yet)

  There are a lot of applications compatible with the storm... I would say the Center App and starts there.

  You only need to connect onve, and then you meet the demand.

  I ran twice and I can't logically explain why it occurs.

  On first installation I finally have the PC connected directly to the cable modem, after disabling the firewall software.

  It took about 6 hours with Kapersky to ensure that he did not get infected. It was a friends DM 4.5

  The second was total frustration with version 4.7. On my network.

  I, like you, have the routers and firewalls in front of the cable router if I had a packet sniffer, it would have been easier to trace.

  I then followed the gateway IP address for my PC.

  In Windows click on start, then run, then type 'cmd' and press ENTER to open a DOS window.
  -In this window type "ipconfig" and press ENTER.
  -L' display the IP Ethernet the subpattern options, etc..  'Default gateway' is what you need.

  -Copy the IP address of the default gateway.

  Then, I started the Blackberry device manager and open the properties Blackberry icon in the systray.

  I was trying to see if I could find what the Office Manager was trying to access, or at least which way he wanted to.

  I found the Blackberry router configuration tab. Click at the bottom right "activate the bindings defined by the user.

It's sort of a specific problem.  I'm going to ICC (college central illinois) to east peoria it.  On our site there is a link for "Blackboard", which is our access to grades, email and taking the online quiz.  I tried to access this site from my BB, a 8330 with verizon running OS 4.5, by using the same user name and password, but it says that my information is not found.  Does anyone else have a problem like this?

  I thought everything on the phone would therefore operate normally as long as I have a wi - fi connection.

  Research before you buy a Blackberry Curve, but very confused on which to choose. I'm naïve on which is the most recent and has Wifi on. Can anyone of you help me out on which one would be more complete feature. Thank you very much in advance

  At this time there is not an available 83xx model which has wifi and gps.  We must choose.  The 8320 has wifi and you can add the GPS function with a GPS bluetooth puck.  The 8310 has GPS, but there is no way to add wireless capabilities.  ATT is supposed to release the "BOLD" (9000) soon (it was released in other countries) and it doesn't have wifi and GPS, but it is not yet released in the United States.  TMobile is supposed to throw the Javelin (8900) and he is said to have wifi and GPS, but no carrier it isn't out yet.
