• First Pro CC 2015.3 lags and freezes. Became unusable

  I've just updated for first Pro CC 2015.3. Decision of the worst of my life.

  It became totally unusable.

  Whenever I have do the following with any clip (video, image, import AE):

  • Select one or more clips/sequences in the timeline panel
  • Click on the tab 'effects control '.
  • Open a sequence
  • Drag an effect on one of the sequences

  First pro gel, the loading of Windows 7 blue circle appears and remains frozen for almost a minute. I took me a half hour to apply an effect to 6 staples.

  I arrive with any file video/image/AE comp, with any type of effect (body default effect or third-party plugin it does not matter).

  MY SPECS:

  Windows 7 original

  Original Adobe CC and PAID

  Intel I7 - 3930K, 32 GB of RAM, GPU GTX970.

  The operating system that is installed on a 512 GB SSD, project on two 1 TB SSD in RAID 0.

  With this configuration, I worked for 4 years and it has always worked like charm.

  What can I do to fix this?

  Turns out it was a compatibility problem with Colorista 2. I upgraded the plugin to 3 Colorista and now works.

• iMac became very slow and unresponsive

  I have an iMac which, in the last two days, suddenly became unusably slow. Almost every click brings up the spinning beachball even just after a reboot. iTunes cannot play a melody without pausing every minute or two. Same Safari is really slow, so I have still not tried more demanding such as Lightroom.

  Its an iMac mid 2010, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HD with 305 GB free. Im running El captain, 10.11.6

  Any ideas what could be causing this or what I could do to remedy the situation? IM thinking I have to go through the pain of wiping the hard drive and reinstall everything. But I'd really rather avoid because I was planning on getting a new iMac when they release then them and I don't want to go through all that process again.

  I hope someone has an idea of something I could try before doing this?

• Update Windows 10 anniversary makes unusable touchpad

  Two weeks ago I bought the Acer Aspire E5 - 575 G-53VG. Everything worked well.
  After you install the update on the birthday, touchpad (ELANTECH) became unusable. It lags behind and the movement is a bit slow. When I put the touchpad setting in the ADVANCED BIOS to BASIC, no problem. But then the gestures do not work. I have also found that if the processor is supported, touchpad works normally. I think it's because of drivers. I did a clean install of Windows, installed all the drivers from the support page, windows update, and does not (only BASIC mode, but I lost the functionality).

  I noticed that other people have this problem too. We should spread the word, so Acer finally updates the drivers and/or BIOS.

  I had the same problem as you guys with my newly bougth Acer Aspire S5 - 371 and I fixed my problem with the following steps:

  1. install the latest drivers Elantech

  2. install the latest drivers of e/s

  3. the disabled option in bios advanced I2c

  4 update Elantech drivers from windows update

  5 activated Elantech in "mouse and pad touch setting", the advanced settings. (If it does not appear or you can not activate it, try to restart)

  6 reboot

  Now, under the "mice and other pointing devices" in Device Manager, it appears as input momentum instead of filtration momentum I2c device device. I hope this works for you guys to! It took me three days to fix this... Do not understand why we get no help from Acer.

• External hard drive in the process of disappearance

  I use a Synology hard drive for storing music. Until recently, it was linked to an ethernet cable to an Airport Extreme, which then connected to a Mac Mini which I use as a player. After that a closed power Synology became unusable/invisible when it is connected to the Airport (and the hard LAN is not lit). But when I connect it directly to an ethernet circuit (set up to extend a network established by another airport functioning as a router) the external drive becomes visible. The problem with this is that the transfer speeds are much slower (although not quite slow to affect the sound quality) and iTunes must have the file for each song is identified and selected individually in order to play.

  Any suggestions on how to make recognizable tough with a direct connection to the airport? The glitch is more likely to be at the airport or the Synology disk?

  When I saw the title I was sure that this would be another problem of USB hard drive... We don't have a lot of problems with Synology, which are excellent products by hand.

  I would say that your test procedure indicates the problem with Airport Extreme. Since the Synology works when plugged into another device on the network.

  The witness of not on network indicates a problem of basic connectivity. I suspect that stop feeding has corrupted the configuration of EI... It's weird, but it happens.

  My recommendation is just factory reset of the AE and start with a new clean configuration.

  If you are using a very old AE... so let me add a few questions...

  Æ must be connected by ethernet to the rest of the network. And then in Bridge mode and create a wireless network... does not extend...

  Or to extend a wireless network (from another router from Apple) and no ethernet on its wan port.

  You should not use join a wireless network. This option is not yet available in Airport utility later to the extreme... but it is always possible to get messed up with previous utility.

  I will also say that old AE may fail on the ethernet ports. What model exactly is EI? If it's more than say 5 years, it is time to update without worry.

• Several problems of opening, reading and writing in Thunderbird

  Anyone can help:

  Since August 17, put to the point my installation of office of Thunderbird has several shortcomings, namely:

  I'm not able to view my Inbox (or any folder) without opening it in a new tab;
  I'm unable to write new e-mail messages;
  I am unable to isolate emails unread;
  Thunderbird does not open a bar of tasks or office, but runs according to the Task Manager, from where I have completed the application in order to start again. He responds very slowly;
  I can't access ALL tasks on the Menu.

  I am running Windows 8.1.

  I registered my profile and restored to a new installation of Thunderbird, without success.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated as T - bid became unusable in this State.

  To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:

  • Restart Thunderbird with disabled modules (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click "restart with disabled modules. If Thunderbird works as usual, there is an add-on or theme interfere with normal operations. You will need to reactivate the modules one at a time until you locate the offender.
  • Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

  If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.

• 38 Firefox slow to respond or crashes without other options?

  After the latest Firefox 38.0.1, it became unusable. I tried several different suggestions found on the forum and through Google searches, but noting seems to cure my problem.

  I use MSN as my home page and at first thought it was the root cause, but using IE I don't have the issue of the suspension. I tried the resettlement, refreshing, new profile creation, to update all the drivers of video material and others etc. but can't seem to find the key...

  The only thing that seems to relieve symptoms is to use the "noscript" and "adblock more ' Add-ons.

The hard drive has been cleaned of malware, but has been replaced by a new hard disk that has a new installation of firefox. Operating has been and is Windows XP. The old hard disk which is now F:\ is still in the computer. There are lots and lots of bookmarks on F; \... Firefox I need to import the Firefox on C:\. In my opinion, these are the .json files. Can I copy and paste or import bookmarks?
