  We get an outdated 'USB hub power' error on my docking station with an E7440 anchored in it.  Worked fine, since I have received the device, but all of a sudden it-error when I try to access any flash drive.  Swapped out with a new one, number the same dock.  Also swapped power adapter, also with no effect.  Any ideas on the problem or resolution?

  Hi the Photos that I receive in email, after I discovered some of them & before on they are not received by the person I have e mailed to, & when I go back to look at the original e-mail, the photos have GONE, I find myself with a contour, no picture but a red x in the upper left.

  If the photos are linked to an external source rather than embedded in the message, and then if you have it put under Tools | Options | Security to block the images related and content external, then the images will not appear unless enable you them.  Make also sure to include pictures with messages is enabled under Tools | Options | Send | Parameters.

  However, some messages are incorrect due to some e-mail programs is not not in line with the standards of the Internet, and so they do not include the images before their delivery.  You can overcome that by using Message | Send as an attachment, rather than the message.

• MS Paint for Windows 7 resize issue with picture quality reduced

  I tried to insert a picture into another picture, like Photoshoping, using paint with limited success.  When I resize the first image to be much smaller, so that I can insert it into the other, this first image quality degrades so I can't use it.  I did not understand that if I was doing the bigger picture and the quality would be lower, but why when smaller?  I read some articles saying the re-sizing degrades the quality regardless of the bigger or smaller.  Is there a way to fix it or work around it?

We understand that Oracle does not cross over cables for interconnection and requires the use of switches to handle the interswitching traffic. Can I use a hub instead of a switch? It is supported? • Help with hard drives and the "switch" statement

  I was wondering if you could please help? It's probably more to do with "powershell" than powercli but are... What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to create a function that runs through all my VM - counts the number of hard drives by VM - crosses EACH hard drive and gives me the ability of each of them. He then returns to a csv file (which iknow how to do). The segment below is pretty well what I want, but I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the amount of code! I tried using a foreach statement, but got stuck (PS - the maximum number of hard drives of our virtual machines can have is 5)

  I'm just using a switch statement, because that is what I "thought" answered the problem. However if there is a way I could get the same result without so much 'code' that would be ideal.

• CS4: Weird before issuing with SM or PM reading is set to 'Fit '.

  I just changed the old rather ATI Radeon x 1950 Pro in my HP with a newer xw6400 workstation (but still not exactly sharp) Radeon HD 4670 1 GB and have discovered a strange problem. The x 1950 installed, I am able to read sequences in the Source Organization and monitors program with the display of the value 'Fit' with the images reads smoothly - it is a machine for several years now, so he begins to fall of frames during playback a sequence of effect-heavy, but that is to be expected.

  First thing I would do, is make sure you have the latest video driver for the new card.

  There have been a few reports of the latest Catalyst drivers, so if you're quite behind on drivers, I would be to get the latest and try that, but also download a recent, but not later, just in case where this new catalyst does not work for you.

  That's all I can think of, except maybe to check hardware acceleration, if you are on a pre-Win7 (I should know your OS). In addition, check the OpenGL settings.

  Maybe others will have some neat stuff and good luck,

• Yoga 2 Pro: randomly switches modes even when closed and the peripheral use

  I recently bought a Yoga 2 Pro, and I love it, except for an extremely annoying issue.

When I used it on its own without the devices, I can be typing away in the configuration of the laptop and all of a sudden it switches modes and the laptop is disabled.

  We have a somewhat obscure issue with connectivity SQL Developer to our databases of the laptop has distance from the employee.
  
  The database is hosted inside our firewall and when the employee is trying to connect to the database that it receives the following error message:

  Note: It gets this error when you are connected to our VPN & so that it can connect through SQL * more on that same basis. It gets the error without worrying if he uses the option to enter tnsnames in SQL Developer or if it uses the "basic" connection type
  
  What is interesting, is that if he disconnects the VPN, will turn off its wireless connectivity, then hard-wire in our network, it can connect, without issue.
  
  The strangest part for me, is that although it cannot connect to the database using SQL Developer, it can connect through SQL * more. It can ping the IP source address very well, he can tnsping database without problem, it can connect through SQL * Plus, it just cannot connect through SQL * Developer. Since SQL * more and tnsping work, I know that it can access the db server through port 1521, so I don't think it's a problem of port.
  
  Another weird thing: when it connects to our network via a 'old' virtual private network (VPN open) there is no problem.
  
  His machine is Windoz 64 bit (HP laptop) and it uses the latest version of the SQL Developer and a JAVA virtual machine.
  
  Also interesting: I also have a Windoz 64 bit computer laptop (Lenovo) and I don't have the same issues, as it does. I am however running an older version of SQL Developer and probably an older JVM.
  
  I dug around a bit, looks like maybe it has something to do with IPv6? No idea what to do next, except have my network guy look at the logs of firewall to try to grasp where the connectivity has been ignored.
  
  Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. I tried all sorts of things (giving him my file tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora, manually editing these files, try IP addresses instead of host names, host names I tried with the doman.org extensions, etc.).
