before port 105001

I have my home security system configured to communicate over the internet. To this that they have asked that I send two ports to a specific ip address on my network. They asked I assigns an address to the alarm outside my selected DHCP range. I chose X.X.X.2 since my range is set between X.X.X.100 and X.X.X.149 my router, (EA6400) allows me to pass the first port. (5001 TCP/UDP) but the second port (TCP/UDP 105001) for some reason any is not accepted in the configurations. Seems I can't redirect the ports in the range of 6 digits. Can anyone confirm this? or is it a way to transmit this port also am I right to assume that I can't assign an IP address I don't have mac address to associate it with? I use the app smart wi - fi to configure

is port 105001 port valid?

OK, after reading many many articles that I have determined that there is an error in the port numbers, so I remembered my alarm company and confirmed that they have made a typo in the port numbers and not the problem has been resolved.

  • HP Pavilion: Before port USB on HP desktop computer has stopped working

My HP desktop computer is about 2 years old and has two USB ports on the front and a number on the back. I had no problem with any of the ports until I used a USB in the port now broken and caused a power outage that now this port doesn't recognize any USB device.  It says "USB device not recognized.  The last USB device you connected to this computer worked badly and Windows does not recognize. »

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the USB ports on the Device Manager and have lived all the suggestions on the HP support site and the Microsoft support site. The defective USB key must have caused damage to the track. I hope you can suggest something that I can do to get it working again.

    Hello

The only port on the front is damaged. The USB key must have damaged only this USB port. I'd like to reuse this memory bar.

You need to replace the USB module, two ports USB 3.0 of housing as the two front ports use the same module and connections to the motherboard.

You will probably need to go to HP for the part.

You should be able to get access to the component by removing the front bezel. Remove the side panel also. You should see the connection of the cable and add him the USB 3.0 connector front on the motherboard.

  • E4200 Port forwarding

I would like to open a couple of ports in an E4200.

The only option I can find is in the game.  Can I port before a single port as 3389 to a system on the local network, and it works.

The problem is that port 3389 is open on the world now since I can't find a way to only allow traffic on port 3389 from a specific static ip address.

It is a big security problem for me.  I want only the traffic on port 3389 of specific static.

I also noticed that you can't say different two before port 1433 from a static IP address.

I hope that LInksys has a way to do it, or it's really a porrly even designed device for residential users

You can not normally port forward to two or more IP addresses. I've heard some router but can it would be an effect of Robin.

Yes with the firmware on this router Linksys is impossible to specify an external IP address in the port rule forwards. You can change the external port to something, no standard as 10001 and have internal port 3389. The specify the port and the Address\DNS IP in the computer text box office remotely. Ex: my - distance - ip:10001

This will only cause confusion, but perhaps that's pretty and your server security settings is always the final measure.

  • Dead after reboot USB ports?

    Hi all

Today, I restarted my computer, and after that it starts in the login screen, I discovered that the USB ports are insensitive! They worked fine before the restart. Usb profits don't feed and are completely dead. I use Windows 7 x 64 Home Premium. Help please?

A solution will be greatly appreiciated.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful if you could provide us with the following information:

    1. What were the last changes on the computer before ports USB worked well?
    2. The problem occurs with some USB devices or all?

USB port may stop responding, if there is a problem with the USB controllers installed on the computer. I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the USB controllers and check if it helps:

To uninstall and reinstall the USB controllers, follow these steps:

    1. click on Start, type Device Manager in the start search box and press ENTER.

    2. expand Bus USB controllers.

Note You need to scroll the list to find this point.

    3. right click on the first USB controller under Bus USB controllers and then click Uninstall to remove it.

    4. repeat the above steps for each controller USB is listed under Bus USB controllers.

5 restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically check for changes on the hardware and reinstall all USB controllers that you uninstalled.

    6. check the USB device to see if it works.

Hope this solves the problem. If the problem persists, you can write back to us and we will be happy to help you further.
  • Port RV180 transmission problem

I wanted to send a range of ports on a RV180, so I created a service for them, but when I go to the port forwarding page, it seems that you must enter an internal port number, which is a problem, because with a range not sure what was the incoming port, and also you can not enter a range in the field internal port even when. Online help, he mentioned an option for this:

Before port: select same inbound port if the traffic
should be sent to the same port as the incoming traffic or specify
Port if incoming traffic must be sent to a particular port.
Port number: the port to which the incoming traffic must be addressed to the
    specify port option is selected.

But this option does not exist in the interface. There is only the internal port field. It's certainly an oversight? If you can not forward a range of ports within a service that you create, what point you afford it to create in the first place?

    Hi Matthew,

With RV180, we have redirection port to the LAN beach. (tested and working)

    Please follow these steps:

    1. According to Firewall--> setting advanced--> custom Services

    2. Add the port range, then choose the Type of Protocol (Please if you have only the port in the port range forwarding delete them)

    3. under firewall--> access rules--> add the following rules

    4. of WAN LAN, Action : always allow Service : your service, Source: all, Dnat: private server IP, status : activate, SAVE

--> Now if we want to check you can go to port forwarding, we will see the rule added automatically and in the inner harbour are EMPTINESS --> please do not change the rule for port forwarding, otherwise, the router will be expected to put the internal address

--> If we want to test (if you have the router in test area and you do not have the server connected locally) please follow these steps in order to confirm our configuration

0 Please install wireshark (packet sniffer)

    1. under Administration--> diagnostic--> the Capture of packets

    2. Select LAN and start to capture traffic

    3. from customer outside trying to access for access with the public IP address with another port already configured for access (from the publicip:port browser) rule

    4. stop the packet capture and downloaded

    5. open with Wireshark and filter by "tcp.port is xx" you will be there the request arrives at the LAN it means the firewall allows the port (number xx:port)

    ------------------------------

Here a screenshots of my test: (I have 70-80 TCP port range forwarding) in-house IP 192.168.1.100

  • Migration of the existing groups of port DVS vSwitch

    Hey guys,.

I am looking for a good article, but so far I don't have if existing port a groups with std vSwitch ESXi can I migrate to a newly created DVS.
I saw VMs, Assistant network management, but it seems that I have to create all the groups before port.

Is this really the case? as I have 70 groups of ports and I don't want to do the job manually.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks in advance

    Evening,

This process can be script but yes destination port groups must be created first.   I suggest to use the Onyx project to get the commands in powershell to create groups of ports.  Personally, I have 700 groups of ports and I understand your pain.   Onyx will allow you the creation of a port group unique in powershell then all you need to change is the name and vlan id.   If you have the standard naming, you should be ok...

Let me know if you have any additional questions or I missed your question.

    Thank you

  • Instructions for managing macs w ARD on the internet (no static IP address)

Please excuse me if it's asked all the time, but I searched and can not find detailed instructions for this.

I need to manage more than one Mac, on connections to the internet, the devices will not be on the static IP, they will constantly be moving around.

All the videos I have found online seem to show how to connect and manage Macs on LANs w ARD.

    Details:

    ARD v3.8

    All Mac on El Capitan

    Very appreciated for any help!

This question is not particularly related to Apple Remote Desktop; for ARD.  This is a configuration of generic firewall and networking question, so good enough instructions for your specific firewall will work here, as long as the firewall can redirect ports - port TCP 5900, in this case - or if your particular firewall has a VPN - Firewall Server average range and high-end frequently - or if you can implement a VPN server behind your firewall and configure the firewall to forward the VPN protocols (different ports) and ports necessary for the particular VPN.

In general...  I would suggest three ways...   1: set up your firewall to port before port TCP 5900 to the client target.   Maybe TCP 5988.   Or set up a VPN server in your firewall and connect to that and use ARD via a VPN.    If you want to access more than one system on the target network, you will need to either use a range of ports to forward to specific systems behind your firewall and happens to be a problem with many customers - I don't know immediately off-hand if the ARD client allows even to select different target ports - or to set up and move to a VPN.    2: creation and configuration of the VPN server in the firewall allows access to all systems on your network target - a VPN connection makes your local system as it is directly connected to the target network.  3: If you have the VPN server running on a target system and accessible through the firewall port forwarding, this target system must always be available, and all VPN traffic is routed through this system.   It is more complex and can also be a bit difficult to set up.

If you directly expose ARD ports to the Internet via port forwarding, you'll want to either restrict the available source IP ports (to reduce the magnitude of the attackers), and you'll want to be very careful about passwords on target systems.   Ports of the ARD are detected very fluent, and several people and botnets will attempt to access the system password-baited; trying to guess the users and passwords on the target system.   Once attackers have a login and a password, they will then try to spread throughout the rest of the network.  (It's part of why I prefer to use virtual private networks).

Sierra of MacOS support PPTP VPN, so I wouldn't go with any configuration of VPN that you considered it.   I'd probably use L2TP/IPsec, because the customer is generally available in most of the other operating systems, Mac OS and iOS.

There is information available on the network ports used by Apple devices.   If you enable VPN port forwarding, there are discussions on the ports and protocols required to according to VPN you use posted around the ' net and not all firewalls is particularly good to port-forwarding, the protocols and ports VPN. "  Low-end older firewalls and firewalls tend to have problems here.

To locate on the networks of the target systems, you get to use dynamic DNS from client devices or other means to identify the public IP address that is associated with the target customer.   If customers are roaming on disparate networks and not simply roaming IP addresses on their private networks (these addresses can be fixed through DHCP configurations, too) and if you don't have access to intermediate firewalls, then you will probably have to rethink the entire approach, unfortunately.    Connection to mobile systems distance arbitrary is not especially it is possible, he must do something on the client that "tags" or "ad" its network metadata to your own server from tracking client or server monitoring of some other entity (for example messages to the DNS servers used by the dynamic DNS providers), or the management connection must be initiated from the client.    ARD does not support these mechanisms.   Discussions here can get pretty complex, too--in terms of network configuration, both in terms of security for the clients and servers.

There are a few related discussions this general topic in the forums. See here, here, here, here or here.

    Hello
I have a little problem with my Toshiba Dynadock U3.0. • frequency max USB-6251

I've reconfigured the config to try and hit 10 kHz and captured the following response.

    config:

Oscilloscope Capture: (before port analog flat doubled)

Any ideas how to set up the analog interface for a sine wave of 100 kHz to the stable address? I could only create a stable 8 kHz wave.

To use higher frequencies, you'll need to use LabVIEW or custom code. I used the example of "ContGen - IntClk.c" located in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI - DAQ\Examples\DAQmx C\Analog Out\Generate Voltage\Cont Gen Volt Wfm - Int Clk ANSI" and changed the two lines of code to achieve higher frequencies.

  • Issue of router EA6350

I know how to do this on my router which goes to the big pile of junk in the sky,

But I don't know where or how doing it on the EA6350 AC1200 + Linksys router I bought.

    Here's what to do. "

EchoLink requires that your router or firewall to allow incoming and outgoing UDP ports 5198 and 5199, and outbound TCP port 5200.  If you use a home network router, you also need to configure the router for 'before' ports UDP 5198 and 5199 to the computer on which EchoLink is running.

This can be summed up as:

Allow the UDP destination ports 5198-5199 between Internet and PC in both directions
Allow TCP (source port requested, the destination port 5200) PC to Internet

An instruction step by step would be great.

    Thank you

    Bob

You can make forwarding ports 5198-5199 port beach.

    1. go to the page Linksys WiFi Smart of the EA6300, and then click Security.

    2. under Security, click on apps and games tab. Then, triggering Port Range subtab.

    3. type any name of the Application (EchoLink). Put 5198 - 5199 times triggered and transferred ports.

    4. check enable and click Save.

For 5200 port, you can transfer using simple Port Forwarding.

    1. under Security, click on apps and games tab. So, simple Port Forwarding subtab.

    2. enter any name (EchoLink) application. Put on (source port) and an external Port 5200 on Internal Port.

    3. set the TCP protocol and the IP address of the PC.

    4. check enable and click Save.

    Hope that helps.

  • How to establish a local router connection through the internet

How can I establish a local always on connection router through the internet.  I would like to be able to access our local wireless network when you are away from the office.

    Thank you!

The major goal of a router with internet is to protect the network from attacks through the firewall. The last thing you want to do is reduce this function.

If you want to access services on specific systems, you can transfer individual ports of these systems. Thus, for example, if one of the internal devices runs a web server you can before port 80 on this device.

However, if you want to make your PC to appear as if it is on the local network, then that requires the use of a VPN tunnel, which depends on the capability of the router.

Please turn off ALG SIP on the router. If it does not solve your problem, then ask provider upstream assistance. We need SIP & RTP packets captured on the side of the trunk. A note unrelated to your problem. It seems that you SIP-> settings-> value 0.030 RTP toRTP packet size . It's a suboptimal value for your upstream provider (in fact it is bad everywhere in Europe). Your provider uses 0.020 (according to the settings specified in the INVITATION). Consider the same value. It can increase the sound quality (for the end-user of the other).

  • Absent HDMI of playback devices

Hi I couldn't install via HDMI with my RL70 and Panasonic TV. Video works very well, and also works in audio output through the speaker port

System: (full spec can be found here Acer Revo Nettop PC - Nettops RL70 |) Ebuyer.com)

    Revo RL70
    Processor

    • 1.65 GHz AMD E-450
    • Hudson D1 Chipset

    Memory

    Hard drive

    • 640 GB SATA 3 Gb/s

    Graphics

After receviing it I loaded Windows 7 64 bit I want to use it to XBMC and Skyping, torrenting etc. and have much more experience with Windows and Linux.

After all Windows Update update, I then started with the drivers that I got on the Acer site (download), as well as by the auto finder pilot Catalyst AMD (AMD driver Autodetect).

Everything works well except getting sound through the TV, for example the video is super adjusted overscan and all that.

The TV is a PANASONIC - VIERA TX - P42C2B 42 '' HD Ready Plasma TV that I already had a Revo 3700 running Windows 7 64 bit without any problems, for example sound and video through HDMI.

Playback devices are 2 options no display, no sign of an option to run via HDMI to the TV and I checked the tab "see the disabled and unconncted devices. It does not show pregnant and also output digital, but this does not seem correspsond to the HDMI cable. If I plug a speaker before port RL70 sound works fine.

I'm running out of ideas and I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Pete

See page 4 of the guide of the user on the audio/video configuration.

BTW, you should always use the drivers found on the machine (in your case Acer) site that sometimes they are more particularly twisted to go with some machine machines.

    See you soon,.
