  Recently, I reformatted my p850/049 for windows 7.   I found V1.0.5.110 of the American version of the Toshiba support site and this installed and play DVDs and it tries to open a Blu - Ray player, but it gets stuck on a white screen and do not play or let me do anything like scene jump or go to the menu. There is no error message complaining about the region or corrupted files or anything it just goes to a blank screen, with controls that are available, but they do nothing. As I said dvd works perfectly, just not blu - ray.

  The drive itself seems to work normally on this screen and when you try to click the button it comes up with a circle with a line through it when you try to click on the buttons as a dvd drive normal if you tried to jump by the warnings of copyright and the index of time is always a small number that is 25 seconds or more.   Yes, it is a patch file and you can not install this without a full version installed.

  On the other hand, I could recommend the use of the freeware such as VLC Player software.
  It's really great and in my opinion the best player you can get for free.

  To be honest, I use VLC for years and this is, for me, the best player I tested in recent years.

• Can't rip CD on Windows media Player

  Hello, I'm using Windows Media Player to rip a Cd. This is my Cd I paid for it.

  When I insert the Cd in the tray it should automatically pick the Cd and find the 'Album' info when I right click on the Cd icon and select "find album info".

  This isn't.

  The Cd I am tearing is "Psalms read by Alex Jennings. This is an audio book. It is the 4 Cd set.

  The first result of the search is Jennings Jennings 13 titles. It is impossible to find a Cd with the right amount of titles. the Cd has 38 tracks on Cd 1.

  Why the search engine cannot filter all CDs without the right number of titles. I think that Microsoft has left this long outstanding issue.

  It is not the first time WMP miserably failed with the utility "find album."

  Can someone enter the search terms and try themseles please?

  Try 'The Psalms Alex Jennings' without the quotes and see what you get.

  Personally, I can't believe that Microsoft is ignorant of this weakness in WMP. I even bought mediamonkey to try to sort out them. There can be no.

  I understand your concerns because I stayed clear of iTunes, until I bought a system of audio broadcasting in January. Quite by accident I discovered that this was by far the best player for streaming, and it has a library easy to use really too. As researcher W7 user I can assure you that I had no problem with it.

  The only other way around your problem would be to conclude everything manually, and then if you missed a setting somewhere wmp can go and "update" it for you with all the wrong information... I had that happen too, it is so boring!

  How can I increase the volume on the speakers in my T110?
  Ive read other forums that suggest that it is just the way it is, but who is not normal - its impossible to hear on max.
  My partner has a Toshiba NB300 (much smaller), but the volume of the speaker is much better.

  I've never seen other forums where people are talking about low volume on Satellite T110, I have also this model and the volume is OK for this small and ultra portable laptop.

  I think you want to increase the volume when you watch movies or listen to music, right?
  Well, in this case I recommend using VLC media player. In my opinion he of the best player of freeware and use it, you can improve volume compared to Windows media player.

  I listen to downloaded etc. podcasts that are not always id3 tag correctly and I want to be able to navigate by folder on the device, not just the id3 tags.  (Yes I know id3 is better and I'll use it, but I don't want to add tags myself if I'm in a hurry - want the ability to navigate by folder if I have to.)

  Are there problems with not finding securities that are not marked on the right?  For visits I'm sure with the clip or the fuse will find things by filename if it is to... ?

  At the current time the Clip + does not support the reading. But stay tuned, it could be an update of the firmware. We can always hope.

  Windows Media Player is not a good choice to play .mov files.

  .mov is the Apple QuickTime format... so would be the best player
  Apple Quick Time player being... I suspect a copy provided with your
  camera.

  The free VLC Media Player can also be worth a try.

  MOV to AVI. Then you can read the files in most of the media

  You have the best player for the laptop, you may have. You can use conventional disc (up to 500 to 750 GB), but none of them are as fast as the solid state drive. I guess that the laptop is a dv7-4000 series. This laptop does not support SATA III connection because a SATA III SSD is the only drive faster than what you got.
